Last year I gave my colleagues at work home made muesli in the recycled glass jar. This year I am thinking about home made sweets like fudge for example. Love the idea about plants.
I love getting niche mixes of foods (nice oils, dried meats, chocolates, teas; that sorta thing). I also love getting candles! I basically love getting things which I can consume/use once and then it'll be gone (no trash!) It's like getting an experience rather than an object. :)
I love candles, but in Australia we're about to go into Summer after Christmas so anything summery is nice. Bath bombs, scrubs, earrings. I used to love getting CDs but now we have Spotify haha
You can actually plant the Narcissus bulb in the garden and they'll grow back. We call that money plant a Jade plant here. Love all your ideas! Thank you for sharing!

Great ideas! Every Christmas I make boxes of different types of cookies for all of our neighbours and friends. Some years I do rum balls, white Christmas and coconut ice instead. They always love it as a lot of them are very busy and don't have time to make things themselves. I give them out a few days before Christmas as ppl usually have visitors or family coming in the lead up to Christmas. I have a large money tree plant so I think I will be using your idea of gifting some cuttings in nice pots 👍. xx

Don’t put the bulbs on the compost plant out in the garden or dry off and save for planting into another pot in the autumn so they can still produce flowers!

I host Christmas each year so to keep it simple we buy one gift for each grandchild to open and instead of the adults exchanging gifts each family brings a basket and makes something simple to put in each other’s basket. Each family has a basket of goodies to take home and enjoy. My in-laws didn’t want material gifts so they asked us to buy shares in farm animals to be donated to families in Africa where they had lived for several years.

I am trying to grow some paper white narcissus like you showed in the video. Do you have to change out the water frequently? My bulbs have only been going a few days but they appear to be going moldy :(. They have a green powdery moldy look inside - perhaps I got bad bulbs? I bought them on amazon
