Wow, what a rollercoaster of a game! That Scotch sideline was sharp, and the middlegame had me on the edge of my seat. I can't believe neither of you saw that blunder in the endgame! Talk about a lucky escape. Great analysis as always!

after the blunder i tried finding the winning sequence but couldn't all the way, but i felt so good because i decided only one move made sense, then unpaused to see if i was right, paused again, and ended up correctly saying every next move for both sides. wouldn't have won in a real game but i feel so good about finding the whole line step by step :D

I am a 1300 rapid rating player, and I found the right sequence very quickly. I do think it is much easier when you are not in the heat of battle, though. Also, I had the benefit of knowing that it was a blunder, which meant that there was something for me to find. That is one problem with using chess puzzles as prep; not every position in a real game has a completely winning move, so it is easier to overlook the opportunity when it arrives.

Eric I gotta say, it's a bit unfortunate that we can't tell what video is coming by the preview, i enjoy your OTB videos but I can't always tell them apart from others that I might skip every once in a while.
Perhaps just a small graphic or text would be helpful to distinguish between kinds of videos.

proud of myself for finding the winning line (at least I saw c2 Rxe6 fxe6 Kg2 g4 b4 f5 and thought it was possibly winning for black although I didn't calculate all the way to both sides promoting and black mating.

B8 (Q) is a blunder. Rd7 looks better. But maybe not, as long as Black's king remains centralized and keeps harassing white's rook.
