Here I am again bumping another four year old video. After years of searching for a NIB one for a fair value, I finally got my grubby little hands on the Smuggler's Run BMF. I never had the Legacy one, so I'm happy as a clam. Damn I love this thing. I noticed some alignment issues with the cockpit lid, and my right top cover, sadly, is not flush against the body. For kicks, I ordered the 30th Han Solo figure and a replacement sticker sheet that matches the Legacy one. I also purchased an extra cockpit canopy and R/L top covers from a Legacy BMF. I'm going to mix and match some of these parts to see what I get (hoping for a more flush fit). By the way, I told my wife you're the reason I keep buying these giant toys. Love your videos man. They just make me happy.
I love my Galaxy’s Edge Millenium Falcon but there is one thing that has been overlooked or forgotten by Hasbro that the Millenium had was “a Hatch that open when Lando Calrissian rescued Luke Skywalker hanging from the weather vain under cloud city I think that would’ve been cool really a top surface hatch . I just thought I would bring it to peoples attention you know because of the fans that we are.
For the price thier asking for this latest version, I can just water down some black paint and do the wash weathering myself, instead. (It's really a pretty easy process.)
Only One Kenobi I agree with him. I’ve never been much of an artist but rubbing shoe polish or acrylic paint mixed with water is easy as pie. Basically brush it on and wipe off the excess. I’ve been happy with all of my results. Also dry brushing is simple and adds extra effect. Try it out on something with far less value! It’s fun and you’ll enjoy the process.
@@OnlyOneKenobi check out 'Toy Room of Insanity' three part series (they are all less than ten minutes each) on weathering his U-Wing. It looked like a film model when he finished it. I took inspiration and I weathered up my AT-DT (from Solo) and it looks *so* much better. It's genuinely a really easy process. The AT-DT only cost me around £30.00, inclusive of postage, so not an expensive vehicle, so I didn't mind taking a chance, that really paid off!
@@OnlyOneKenobi Look for model kit weathering guides specifically things like 'Tamiya panel liner'. There are loads of pre mixed washes and weathering kits you can buy from the likes of AK interactive for cheap too.
There is a flaw in your idea. For people who DO NOT have such a Falcon, the choice is either $400 for the GE version or $800~1200 for a NEW in a box OL (Original Legacy) version or 400+ for a used one with all parts. $300~400 with most parts. Under $300 tend to have missing parts. Now the GOOD thing about the GE version is that it has severely lowered the value of the OL version where it was getting to be around $500+ for a good used one. Now you can get a good used one for about $300, great for buying for kids to play with as there are not many good toys out there anymore. So for new, the GE Version is the one to get. You get a great Hondo figure and easy enough to find and buy newer Han Solo figures in ANH or ESB versions.
Great comparison OOK, I noticed towards the end the engines of the escape pod were quite a different silver colour - the GE version a bit duller whereas the Legacy was a nicer silver. It might be the light though.
That was a great side by side. Thank you for doing that! I think I prefer the Galaxy’s Edge one. After going to Galaxy’s Edge and seeing the life size one, I am real pleased with that one.

I made a Shuttle Tyderium model kit (MPC) way back in 1984 and I made my own weathering for it. Just randomly mixed colors and gave it a weathered look. This weathering on the new falcons reminds me of it.
Finally got chance to watch this. Great video. Didn’t realise it had ALL of that detailing on it. Kinda makes me wish I had my one from a kid and put that side by side of those two and see how different they are with newer technologies etc. Looking forward to the sound video
Great Video 📹... the decal of the door 🚪 is for the main interior not the cockpit.. so its the back of the cockpit door. You have it on your legacy falcon. Keep up the awesome vids...Only One!!!
Mine has shipped and should arrive next week. Given it’s my first BMF I’m thrilled. To me it’s the better of the two. However, had I already owned the original legacy BMF I doubt I would’ve dropped $400 for another one. The updated paint wash and new sounds are definitely not a $400 upgrade. Appreciate you willing to own both and show us all the comparisons. 😬

If the thing isn't playing then it isn't using battery power. The play button is an on/off switch in and of itself. The off switch is more of a safety so you don't accidentally set it off while moving it or something. No battery wear on something that doesn't have an off switch but does have a physical action button.

But on a serious note (B flat Minor) - does the protruding arm panels detach from the front so you can repackage it in the box or like the legacy; once they’re in theres no going back? 🧐

Thanks for this excellent video. About to get my second BMF, the greatest toy/model ever built. Nothing in it in my opinion.. as a collector the fact that the 2008 legacy is the original release for this generation/mould edges it for me. Would love to know if there is a weight difference which might indicate plastic quality? Also, I wish they'd put an actual door in the cockpit with a through tunnel to the main hold.. I dont know why they didnt as from the outside it looks easy enough to accommodate? Anyway great vid. The roof hatch too would have been an easy addition and make everyone happy. With the way of the world not sure we'll ever see an updated Falcon better than this mould?
Great video Only one! A couple of things I noticed are the hatch which Lando use in ESB to rescue Luke, which are above the docking ports/escape pod 'end's seem to be unpainted on the new one yet are on the legacy version, or am I (not) seeing things? If you want the chess scene to play out, hold down the button, rather than quick presses and you will get it in its entirety. Also just found this out, (after owning this for two years now!) If you push in the rod that swivels the training remote/radar dish, it plays extended sounds of the lightsaber and the remote.
Sadly Chris... theres a slight fault with the soundboard on my Falcon which is a shame. Currently in talks with Comics & Cocktails about it anyway, so hopefully there'll be a solution. I might make a video about it, and include some other comparison differences I've made...

I think I'm going to have to start hanging things from my ceiling if I get around to opening my 2012 Vintage version of this vehicle. I passed on the Smuggler's Run version because totally blind me wouldn't be able to justify buying it due to the freakin paint job and not very much tactile alteration, but that new soundboard with Hondo's dialogue really tempted me! I undoubtedly would have caved if they'd finally added that elevator and top hatch from ESB, and the harpoon Hondo mentions. Hasbro almost got me to crack though. Almost!
For the door decal, I suggest cutting it out while keeping it on the backing sheet. Put double-sided tape to the backing and place it on the door. This way the decal can remain flat on the textured surface without being damaged.
Nah... its okay, font need to. I'd forgotten/ didn't realise, that these stickers go on the OTHER SIDE on the way IN to the cockpit! 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ my bad!
Great review. Besides being a bit pricey, the Galaxy's Edge Falcon is a good opportunity for those that weren't around or missed out in 2008 to get it new today.

The Cockpits are Exactly the same between these 2. Yes it is out of scale with the Overall Size of the Rest of the Falcon but it's the First and Only Falcon to have All 4 Seats in the Cockpit.

I remember playing with the original for hours when I was a kid! Still have it in storage. There's a part of me that wants to get this and keep it on the box and display the original on top. But there's a another part of me that doesn't want to drop $400 just to keep it sealed up. 😂

Great review and thanks for posting this. I have one question. How is the landing gear in comparison to the older one? Is it sturdy? Does it sit evenly?
I read the instructions carefully on which stand goes in which port and it does make a difference. I've heard people saying g they're loose, but I honestly feel theres no difference between the new one and the Legacy one. Once my legacy one felt really loose but that was due to not replacing them correctly... in correct ports I mean 👍🏻
Out of curiosity would you know how much is a reasonable price for the legacy MF at present? I have one boxed never opened in near perfect condition. I do intend to sell but not sure how much to put on it as there are very few on eBay to compare. If you know a better place to find price comparisons and such that would be great too. I just want someone like yourself to have and appreciate it like you obviously do. I'm a huge SW fan but I just have nowhere for the massive thing, especially with a toddler haha. I don't think that was thought about when I was given it for Xmas in 2008.
Hey thanks for the question! If you're selling then hard to say what market price is, but as long as you make you're money back. Going rate of the G.Edge Falcon is as high as what I payed for the Legacy Collection one in 2017... which was over 400! Yeah man, alot! Ha. Just check out and be competitive to prices on Ebay, but just make sure you make your money back! 👌🏼 O.O.K 💙🙂

I still watch this from time to time, and of course today being May 4th! I was fortunate enough to buy the smugglers run Falcon so I know how incredible it is to just be standing in front of ONE of them, but having two Big Millennium Falcons at the same time ...🤤 Only few instances of have two of something at the same time can top this ! 😉

Ok… the paint is done by robot. Similar to a car factory. The pieces sit in a jig and a laser eye learns the placement and follows a computer that tells it what color and where to put it, and amounts of paint flow. That’s why every one is identical in the weathering. The older one they painted the top shell and then the bottom shell and then they dry it and assemble it

I Love the Weathering They did on the New Smuggler's Run Falcon. I've got a Legacy Falcon that's 98% Complete, it's only missing the Djarek Pieces, a few Missiles, and Stickers and the Original Han & Chewie figures, but I have Reolaced the figures with Suitable Replacements. But I REALLY WANT This New One. The Differences on The Smuggler's Run version are Much like what Hasbro did with the Slave 1. The 2019 Release looks Fantastic on the Outside, but still looks like a Toy inside. At least they added a little bit to the Interior of the Falcon and Changed a few things. Keep Up the Great Reviews and MTFBWY!

Finally ordered the Smuggler's Run Falcon today from Zavvi (wish me luck) as I had a discount code so got it for £360. Have not owned a Falcon since 1983 so hoping this impresses me. Given the issues you have had, do you think I need to setup and check everything when I get it?
is your smuggler run falcon landing gear touching the surface because only 2 of mine do the others you can spin them if you want so out of 7 struts only two are supporting all the weight and seen it will fall forward if or backward if touched wrong i stuck some quarters under them but its a little shy of full support please anyone is this normal for the new smuggler run falcon

It would be about $200 if sold today. However, this version has a much lower production run, and that can double the price. Just look at the prices of online exclusive collector action figures compared with their retail counterparts.
I’ve had my millennium falcon now Smugglers run from about 8 to 9 months . And the time that I’ve had it I’ve studied the interior and I am blessed to have this I really am but the inside and I’ve known for a while It’s exactly not the same On the interior Not even close and that’s my opinion only . My number one complaint that is LOL remember how they come up the ramp as they are entering the millennium falcon There is a outer hatch once you enter the main part of the ship That close’s off once you have entered the falcon. My second problem the top surface Hatch and I’ve said it before when Lando Rescued Luke Skywalker From the weathervane from beneath cloud city . And number three the interior of the cockpit the pilot seats are nowhere near the way they looked in the movie they were dark or black grungy looking. Me personally if I was designing this it would’ve been a lot darker in the cockpit more dark gray-ish and more instrument panel’s to be exact. And number four medical bay doesn’t look nothing like in the movie nothing I’m saying if we are paying all this money for this it should at least be movie accurate my opinion only. I love my Smugglers run I really do. And last but not least a lower deck turret seat instead of one do you know what I’m saying. Well that’s all I have to say it would’ve been nice though. Peace ✌🏾
I love the Galaxy's Edge version, but it looks like the cockpit is much bigger than the one on the Legacy version? Which is odd, because I thought it was the same mold?
I’m so looking forward to getting the new one in a week or so. One thing I noticed, are the three smaller vents in the middle aren’t colored black anymore. Not sure if that’s the way the falcon is at the park or if they just forgot 😂 I feel compelled to add some wash to them at least, but then the falcon won’t be stock anymore 🤔
The newer one defo has much darker (borderline black) vents on it. The Legacy ones are much lighter, like a grey. You sure you think this new one isn't black...coz I beg to differ! Hehe, were you perhaps looking at the Legacy one at that moment?... 🤔👌🏻💙
Only One Kenobi Sorry, I should’ve been more clear when I said “middle”. So at 1:49 Not the 6 main vents in the back. I see the legacy on the left are more a dark grey and the galaxy’s edge one on the right has nice black vents. I’m talking about the much smaller vents in the middle of the falcon, on the midsection that runs left to right. Two vents on the left, one on the right. On the legacy they are grey/black as I’m used to them being, but on the new falcon, they appear to be unpainted and the same color of the surrounding plastic. Wasn’t sure if is intentional or not based on what those vents look like at galaxy’s edge. I’ll have to find some queue footage or overhead photos.
So I looked at shots from ANH and TFA and both have the three small vents black, but a drone shot of the galaxy’s edge falcon shows them not black. Maybe a little weathered, but definitely not black. So I guess this new BMF is accurate in that way since it’s supposed to be the galaxy’s edge falcon. Nice to see the comparison to the legacy though. Can’t wait to get mine in a week or so!
Wow..im late to this..they both have there charms and I really dig the new vehicles paint wash..if I find a sparkey to fix my Legacy ones electrical problems..i might do an extra wash and get it dirtier..plenty of differences and both look cool cheers Nick🍺🍺🍻
Great Review! I already have the legacy only got mine second hand over 2 months ago so not sure on getting this new one especially with the high price tag. Good weathering on it though and more sounds loks great, just not worth the price.
I’ve been meaning to get back @ u & let u know : I think that door stickers for the inside of the falcon. Not the cab. But I could b wrong. I’m handicap. I do have a legacy in my collection but I cannot verify. The only way way I see the insides through videos like this.

Only One Kenobi don’t feel bad, because I didn’t notice until watching more RUclips reviews of the legacy. I’d like the smuggler. But once my legacy came in (I was overwhelmed by it’s size). I was lucky To fit it in my collection . But it looks awesome angled on the shelf. I’m glad I found one complete &. In my budget. I can imagine these values of the falcon will be crazy in another decade.

I received my Galaxy’s Edge Millenium Falcon it’s Awesome the only thing I’m not happy about are the landing skids just not Happy smh I wish they were retractable that would’ve been nice . But it is what it is . The action figures have great articulation I had trouble putting Chewbacca’s bow caster in hand it was trying lol finally got it his hand . It’s massive in size Incredible. I put my trilogy millenium Falcon and my kessel run millenium Falcon next to it . Obviously it Dwarfed them both . I love it . I have 10 vehicles now I still need that slave 1 really do . I have 298 action figures in my whole collection. I have a ways to go lol . These department stores have to really get on the ball with their Star Wars merchandise sad 😞 I’ve been in quite a few of them horrible. But my dream I would like to see Hasbro produce would be the “Kessel Run Millenium Falcon Scale size just imagine the Pristine white and blue think about it “OMG”! . And come with a Vintage style L3- 37 what do think about that cool right ? Ok 👍🏿 Peace .

Here I am again bumping another four year old video. After years of searching for a NIB one for a fair value, I finally got my grubby little hands on the Smuggler's Run BMF. I never had the Legacy one, so I'm happy as a clam. Damn I love this thing. I noticed some alignment issues with the cockpit lid, and my right top cover, sadly, is not flush against the body. For kicks, I ordered the 30th Han Solo figure and a replacement sticker sheet that matches the Legacy one. I also purchased an extra cockpit canopy and R/L top covers from a Legacy BMF. I'm going to mix and match some of these parts to see what I get (hoping for a more flush fit). By the way, I told my wife you're the reason I keep buying these giant toys. Love your videos man. They just make me happy.
I love my Galaxy’s Edge Millenium Falcon but there is one thing that has been overlooked or forgotten by Hasbro that the Millenium had was “a Hatch that open when Lando Calrissian rescued Luke Skywalker hanging from the weather vain under cloud city I think that would’ve been cool really a top surface hatch . I just thought I would bring it to peoples attention you know because of the fans that we are.
For the price thier asking for this latest version, I can just water down some black paint and do the wash weathering myself, instead. (It's really a pretty easy process.)

Only One Kenobi I agree with him. I’ve never been much of an artist but rubbing shoe polish or acrylic paint mixed with water is easy as pie. Basically brush it on and wipe off the excess. I’ve been happy with all of my results. Also dry brushing is simple and adds extra effect. Try it out on something with far less value! It’s fun and you’ll enjoy the process.
@@OnlyOneKenobi check out 'Toy Room of Insanity' three part series (they are all less than ten minutes each) on weathering his U-Wing. It looked like a film model when he finished it. I took inspiration and I weathered up my AT-DT (from Solo) and it looks *so* much better. It's genuinely a really easy process. The AT-DT only cost me around £30.00, inclusive of postage, so not an expensive vehicle, so I didn't mind taking a chance, that really paid off!
@@OnlyOneKenobi Look for model kit weathering guides specifically things like 'Tamiya panel liner'. There are loads of pre mixed washes and weathering kits you can buy from the likes of AK interactive for cheap too.
There is a flaw in your idea. For people who DO NOT have such a Falcon, the choice is either $400 for the GE version or $800~1200 for a NEW in a box OL (Original Legacy) version or 400+ for a used one with all parts. $300~400 with most parts. Under $300 tend to have missing parts.
Now the GOOD thing about the GE version is that it has severely lowered the value of the OL version where it was getting to be around $500+ for a good used one. Now you can get a good used one for about $300, great for buying for kids to play with as there are not many good toys out there anymore.
So for new, the GE Version is the one to get. You get a great Hondo figure and easy enough to find and buy newer Han Solo figures in ANH or ESB versions.
Great comparison OOK, I noticed towards the end the engines of the escape pod were quite a different silver colour - the GE version a bit duller whereas the Legacy was a nicer silver. It might be the light though.
A tale of two Falcons, nice side by side review and boy it's grown up since the 70's version! Bells, whistles and hyperdrive!

I made a Shuttle Tyderium model kit (MPC) way back in 1984 and I made my own weathering for it. Just randomly mixed colors and gave it a weathered look. This weathering on the new falcons reminds me of it.

When i used to do the old star wars model kits,, i used to burn the excess plastic surrounding and use the smoke to weather it.
Just for the kids out there burning plastic smoke can KILL you if inhaled.

I just got it and there was a few decals where I didn’t an idea where they went, the instructions doesn’t make it very clear.
I'm thinking of putting a light grey wash on the cockpit door, followed by a light browny- yellow?
Mine has shipped and should arrive next week. Given it’s my first BMF I’m thrilled. To me it’s the better of the two. However, had I already owned the original legacy BMF I doubt I would’ve dropped $400 for another one. The updated paint wash and new sounds are definitely not a $400 upgrade. Appreciate you willing to own both and show us all the comparisons. 😬

If the thing isn't playing then it isn't using battery power. The play button is an on/off switch in and of itself. The off switch is more of a safety so you don't accidentally set it off while moving it or something. No battery wear on something that doesn't have an off switch but does have a physical action button.

I was able to remove the Mandibles on My Legacy Falcon. They don't come off easy, But I did get them off.

Nothing in it in my opinion.. as a collector the fact that the 2008 legacy is the original release for this generation/mould edges it for me. Would love to know if there is a weight difference which might indicate plastic quality?
Also, I wish they'd put an actual door in the cockpit with a through tunnel to the main hold.. I dont know why they didnt as from the outside it looks easy enough to accommodate? Anyway great vid. The roof hatch too would have been an easy addition and make everyone happy. With the way of the world not sure we'll ever see an updated Falcon better than this mould?
Great video Only one! A couple of things I noticed are the hatch which Lando use in ESB to rescue Luke, which are above the docking ports/escape pod 'end's seem to be unpainted on the new one yet are on the legacy version, or am I (not) seeing things? If you want the chess scene to play out, hold down the button, rather than quick presses and you will get it in its entirety. Also just found this out, (after owning this for two years now!) If you push in the rod that swivels the training remote/radar dish, it plays extended sounds of the lightsaber and the remote.

Sadly Chris... theres a slight fault with the soundboard on my Falcon which is a shame. Currently in talks with Comics & Cocktails about it anyway, so hopefully there'll be a solution. I might make a video about it, and include some other comparison differences I've made...

I think I'm going to have to start hanging things from my ceiling if I get around to opening my 2012 Vintage version of this vehicle. I passed on the Smuggler's Run version because totally blind me wouldn't be able to justify buying it due to the freakin paint job and not very much tactile alteration, but that new soundboard with Hondo's dialogue really tempted me! I undoubtedly would have caved if they'd finally added that elevator and top hatch from ESB, and the harpoon Hondo mentions. Hasbro almost got me to crack though. Almost!

For the door decal, I suggest cutting it out while keeping it on the backing sheet. Put double-sided tape to the backing and place it on the door. This way the decal can remain flat on the textured surface without being damaged.
Nah... its okay, font need to. I'd forgotten/ didn't realise, that these stickers go on the OTHER SIDE on the way IN to the cockpit! 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ my bad!

The Cockpits are Exactly the same between these 2. Yes it is out of scale with the Overall Size of the Rest of the Falcon but it's the First and Only Falcon to have All 4 Seats in the Cockpit.
The sculpts are identical.

I remember playing with the original for hours when I was a kid! Still have it in storage. There's a part of me that wants to get this and keep it on the box and display the original on top. But there's a another part of me that doesn't want to drop $400 just to keep it sealed up. 😂

Great review and thanks for posting this. I have one question. How is the landing gear in comparison to the older one? Is it sturdy? Does it sit evenly?
I read the instructions carefully on which stand goes in which port and it does make a difference. I've heard people saying g they're loose, but I honestly feel theres no difference between the new one and the Legacy one.
Once my legacy one felt really loose but that was due to not replacing them correctly... in correct ports I mean 👍🏻

Out of curiosity would you know how much is a reasonable price for the legacy MF at present? I have one boxed never opened in near perfect condition. I do intend to sell but not sure how much to put on it as there are very few on eBay to compare. If you know a better place to find price comparisons and such that would be great too. I just want someone like yourself to have and appreciate it like you obviously do. I'm a huge SW fan but I just have nowhere for the massive thing, especially with a toddler haha. I don't think that was thought about when I was given it for Xmas in 2008.
Hey thanks for the question! If you're selling then hard to say what market price is, but as long as you make you're money back. Going rate of the G.Edge Falcon is as high as what I payed for the Legacy Collection one in 2017... which was over 400! Yeah man, alot! Ha.

Ok… the paint is done by robot. Similar to a car factory. The pieces sit in a jig and a laser eye learns the placement and follows a computer that tells it what color and where to put it, and amounts of paint flow. That’s why every one is identical in the weathering. The older one they painted the top shell and then the bottom shell and then they dry it and assemble it
I like both of them but I love the 2008 legacy toy a bit more but the Galaxy's Edge version but it is still pretty cool, brilliant review by the way.

I Love the Weathering They did on the New Smuggler's Run Falcon. I've got a Legacy Falcon that's 98% Complete, it's only missing the Djarek Pieces, a few Missiles, and Stickers and the Original Han & Chewie figures, but I have Reolaced the figures with Suitable Replacements. But I REALLY WANT This New One. The Differences on The Smuggler's Run version are Much like what Hasbro did with the Slave 1. The 2019 Release looks Fantastic on the Outside, but still looks like a Toy inside. At least they added a little bit to the Interior of the Falcon and Changed a few things. Keep Up the Great Reviews and MTFBWY!

is your smuggler run falcon landing gear touching the surface because only 2 of mine do the others you can spin them if you want so out of 7 struts only two are supporting all the weight and seen it will fall forward if or backward if touched wrong i stuck some quarters under them but its a little shy of full support please anyone is this normal for the new smuggler run falcon

Save money on development costs from rehashing an old mold that sold for $160. Slap some weathering paint on top then sell it for $400. BRILLIANT!

It would be about $200 if sold today. However, this version has a much lower production run, and that can double the price. Just look at the prices of online exclusive collector action figures compared with their retail counterparts.
I’ve had my millennium falcon now Smugglers run from about 8 to 9 months . And the time that I’ve had it I’ve studied the interior and I am blessed to have this I really am but the inside and I’ve known for a while It’s exactly not the same On the interior Not even close and that’s my opinion only . My number one complaint that is LOL remember how they come up the ramp as they are entering the millennium falcon There is a outer hatch once you enter the main part of the ship That close’s off once you have entered the falcon. My second problem the top surface Hatch and I’ve said it before when Lando Rescued Luke Skywalker From the weathervane from beneath cloud city . And number three the interior of the cockpit the pilot seats are nowhere near the way they looked in the movie they were dark or black grungy looking. Me personally if I was designing this it would’ve been a lot darker in the cockpit more dark gray-ish and more instrument panel’s to be exact. And number four medical bay doesn’t look nothing like in the movie nothing I’m saying if we are paying all this money for this it should at least be movie accurate my opinion only. I love my Smugglers run I really do. And last but not least a lower deck turret seat instead of one do you know what I’m saying. Well that’s all I have to say it would’ve been nice though. Peace ✌🏾

Was using a wide angle camera.... both are identical. Just forced perspective with the fish eye type camera lens.... 😉 O.O.K 👌🏼💙

I love the Galaxy's Edge version, but it looks like the cockpit is much bigger than the one on the Legacy version? Which is odd, because I thought it was the same mold?

I’m so looking forward to getting the new one in a week or so. One thing I noticed, are the three smaller vents in the middle aren’t colored black anymore. Not sure if that’s the way the falcon is at the park or if they just forgot 😂 I feel compelled to add some wash to them at least, but then the falcon won’t be stock anymore 🤔
The newer one defo has much darker (borderline black) vents on it. The Legacy ones are much lighter, like a grey. You sure you think this new one isn't black...coz I beg to differ! Hehe, were you perhaps looking at the Legacy one at that moment?... 🤔👌🏻💙
Only One Kenobi Sorry, I should’ve been more clear when I said “middle”. So at 1:49 Not the 6 main vents in the back. I see the legacy on the left are more a dark grey and the galaxy’s edge one on the right has nice black vents. I’m talking about the much smaller vents in the middle of the falcon, on the midsection that runs left to right. Two vents on the left, one on the right. On the legacy they are grey/black as I’m used to them being, but on the new falcon, they appear to be unpainted and the same color of the surrounding plastic. Wasn’t sure if is intentional or not based on what those vents look like at galaxy’s edge. I’ll have to find some queue footage or overhead photos.
So I looked at shots from ANH and TFA and both have the three small vents black, but a drone shot of the galaxy’s edge falcon shows them not black. Maybe a little weathered, but definitely not black. So I guess this new BMF is accurate in that way since it’s supposed to be the galaxy’s edge falcon. Nice to see the comparison to the legacy though. Can’t wait to get mine in a week or so!

Wow..im late to this..they both have there charms and I really dig the new vehicles paint wash..if I find a sparkey to fix my Legacy ones electrical problems..i might do an extra wash and get it dirtier..plenty of differences and both look cool cheers Nick🍺🍺🍻

Great Review! I already have the legacy only got mine second hand over 2 months ago so not sure on getting this new one especially with the high price tag. Good weathering on it though and more sounds loks great, just not worth the price.
Both could use a light wash on the interior panels to bring out the sculpt details.

I’ve been meaning to get back @ u & let u know : I think that door stickers for the inside of the falcon. Not the cab. But I could b wrong. I’m handicap. I do have a legacy in my collection but I cannot verify. The only way way I see the insides through videos like this.
You're right man... did my video very impromptu, but I afterwards learned / remembered that stickers go on entrance to cockpit. .. haha I felt daft for not noticing before I made video! O.O.K haha
Only One Kenobi don’t feel bad, because I didn’t notice until watching more RUclips reviews of the legacy. I’d like the smuggler. But once my legacy came in (I was overwhelmed by it’s size). I was lucky To fit it in my collection . But it looks awesome angled on the shelf. I’m glad I found one complete &. In my budget. I can imagine these values of the falcon will be crazy in another decade.

I received my Galaxy’s Edge Millenium Falcon it’s Awesome the only thing I’m not happy about are the landing skids just not Happy smh I wish they were retractable that would’ve been nice . But it is what it is . The action figures have great articulation I had trouble putting Chewbacca’s bow caster in hand it was trying lol finally got it his hand . It’s massive in size Incredible. I put my trilogy millenium Falcon and my kessel run millenium Falcon next to it . Obviously it Dwarfed them both . I love it . I have 10 vehicles now I still need that slave 1 really do . I have 298 action figures in my whole collection. I have a ways to go lol . These department stores have to really get on the ball with their Star Wars merchandise sad 😞 I’ve been in quite a few of them horrible. But my dream I would like to see Hasbro produce would be the “Kessel Run Millenium Falcon Scale size just imagine the Pristine white and blue think about it “OMG”! . And come with a Vintage style L3- 37 what do think about that cool right ? Ok 👍🏿 Peace .

It'll be camera angle.... its one wide screen mode so stuff further away is elongated
