OK, so yes, it's a repack of the Legacy Collection Millennium Falcon or BMF as its also known, but this version has had some serious upgrades, especially in the paint deco and weathering. New sounds but with all the great features the original BMF had.

I have the Legacy Falcon, and the ESB sounds on the Soundboard were Han saying "Switchover, let's hope we don't have a burnout." and the Falcon not starting up.

I have the legacy falcon too...still can't help hitting a button or two when I walk by it. Just picked up the black series snowspeeder today at toys r us on sale for $119.99 Canadian. Unbelievable deal

🤗🤗🤗 OMG I’m am so glad I decided to preorder one of these. At first the price scared me off, but I regretted not getting the Sail Barge a few years ago and didn’t want to experience that regret again. Now after seeing how absolutely amazing this looks I’m giddy with anticipation and excitement. This will be without a doubt the crown jewel of my collection. So happy that you were the first reviewer I’ve seen with this as well. Being able to share these experiences with Little Bossk must be extra special for you too. Great job as always. 🤗🤗🤗

Yep, original Falcon was quickly packaged away in the box and replaced by my legacy version, it’s a beast!!!.... such an awesome vehicle that every Star Wars fan should own. 👍🏻
I have the Legacy collection Falcon and this is basically the same, aside from the new sounds and some of the weathering. I see that Hasbro hasn't addressed the landing gear issue. They are the same on the Legacy Collection one as well. They just don't stay on. This Falcon looks quite nice!
If you use a little trial and error, you will find the correct positions for the landing gear on the bottom. At least that was the way with my Legacy BMF Falcon.
I have the legacy one as well but tbh I prefer this one over the original. This one has a lot more detail and feels more like a collectible then a toy.
The weathering and detail is off the charts. I am so glad I preordered one. And I do hope that everyone who wants one will be able to get one. Another brilliant review and can’t wait to put both my original 78-85 figures in it and of course my TVC figures. I need to watch this again!!!

@@BossksBounty always wonder how canon this be, funny and neat idea, but not sure chewie or rey would loan this guy the falcon lol, sadly completely missed out on this ship, was pretty much un aware of it till too late, now it goes over 900,but would use the square dish, tried findin one for sale, with zero luck, hondo himself tho, funny becuz he has interacted with main hero's of every era, obi,anakin, ahsoka/rebel team/ rey,chewie, and co, surely han and maz, and i think bad batch team myself, not to mention he does know the young jedi's, like gungi
@@BossksBounty the paint app on this is far better than the one i have, which is the 2012 i believe, decided to aim for the razor crest instead of this one tho,which is the jewell of my collection, and now plan to army build clones, hunter and others, so will wait once again on this one, maybe they re issiue it at some point

@@BossksBounty i too still have most of my kenner ships, at at, falcon,slave one, xwings, mint tie fighters, and so on, the endor tree playset i still use in set up's, that be a good haslab playset too to redo

That looks great. I love the paint and weathering. Big bonus they did the bottom also. This makes me want to get my BMF out of storage. Great video and a thanks to little Bossk for helping out.
This thing is AMAZING! It has some outstanding play features but the details of a high end model. I am impressed. I am going to have to scrape up the money to get one. I don't want to miss out this time. Thanks for the review.
I have the Legacy one (best toy ever!) The legs are actually designed that way to PREVENT breakage. If the ship is knocked over, the legs are meant to come off, rather than break. Regarding that top gun, I superglued those gun barrels in, because I didn't like how they shot off.
I was able to find two of these in Target on clearance, for $75 each. I was so damned happy. Gave one to my nephew.

Woah, I cherish my vintage Kenner Falcon but this one is really something, it looks, amazing, it's full of fx and it's massive, I love the fact you can put four figs in the cockpit.

Great review. I agree the box is a work of art on its own. The detail on the toy is also incredible, but sadly I think it's just to far out my price range.

I have the 2008 one and passed on this release, Tied with the big AT AT as my favorite modern ships. It was 150$ then, not sure what that would equate to today (400$ I suppose). Luke can be plugged in with his severed hand tourniquet, so cool. Love your channel, Thank you!

It would be about $200 today. However, this version has a lot more sound effects and paint, and has a smaller production run, which adds to the cost. Plastic and oil prices have risen significantly since 2008 as well, with most online exclusive collectors action figures have doubled in price.
Just got one today at Target. There were four of them stacked in twos on the floor. Amazing
This does look like a lovely looking Falcon! Sounds and lights really helps to take this to a 'next level' vehicle.

I actually just finished restoration on the original 1979 Falcon, looks brand new. Parts are crazy high priced. I used all original except for the ramp stabilizers bought 3D printed ones still cost $45 as original go for about $80. Absolutely love it.

So crazy that the Legacy Falcon was only $100 back in the day, even nowadays it holds up so well, has o many features, covers with hidey holes, detail, lights sounds, escape pod, etc......Im SOOO glad they did another run AND updated it. But at 400 it seemed high at the time tbh...i was thinking it was crazy unless Hasbro lost their butts off on the 2008 one...but now i wish i had grabbed one anyway as theyre now 750+

I honestly really enjoy the look of the packaging for The Vintage Collection.
They need to repack this same Chewie for the single TVC card with or without the Porgs. Great Chewbacca sculpt.
i remember getting the one that came with han and chewie for christmas when i was 6 or 7 i still have it i am in my mid teen years now

The Smugglers Run version of the Falcon I can see is definitely the definitive one with the much better looking weathering details

This is absolutely beautiful!!! If I could go back in time and give this to my younger self - as well as some of the new figures (I always loved R2 and 3PO the most, and to be able to have an R2 with a body wit actual molded details instead of a sticker, pop out arms and sensorscope and a middle leg, as well as 3PO with proper bent elbows! And tons of others!) I’d have just been so happy I’d have never grown up! :-) If I could find one of these now I’d be way tempted to get it. It’s several factors above the original Kenner version and the newer version based on that mold. The Falcon was always my favorite “big ship” because I could have the whole gang together, and the Landspeeder my favorite mini ship as I could do quickie adventure runs with the droids, Luke and one other person! :-) Oh the joys of playing with my favorite toys! That’s one thing I sincerely miss as an adult: the ability to play, to truly lose yourself in an adventure. I really have tried to play with my figures just to see if I could, and honestly I cant do it anymore. I can think up scenarios, I can even put the figures thru the motions…but that childhood ability to let the imagination and storyline takeover and become real (or as near to it as possible), that all just seems a lost ability. Sigh. Maybe someday they’ll invent time travel. And extend life/de-age ourselves. I’d be first in line. For all of them. :-)

I got a legacy version 2 months ago. for a £400 price tag they havent added enough over the years. great weathering though and more sounds, but not worth the price. awesome vehicle.

Well done! If you’ve been to Galaxy’s Edge and don’t have a Legacy Falcon, it is a must. It’s too expensive, but for me it shows better than a Hot Toy or couple of SHFiguarts. I’m going to sell the figures to help with the cost.
Hopefully this will still be available in a month or two, been working my ass off for the money without grabbing some out of my savings

The weathering is great for this one, having more sounds is great too, but I got a legacy one not knowing if they were releasing a new one am happy with that as I dont want to pay £400 way too pricey!!!!

Crazy that the radar dish on the BMF seems to be the same size as the Kenner Dish!
Thanks for showing it. I still have my original Kenner. $29.99 in 1978. In today's adjusted dollars it would cost $119.55. Not counting (2) C Batteries. This costs $400. I guess if you adjusted backwards it would cost $1,594.59 in 1978. A piece like this needs it's own coffee table. What bothers me with the falcon is once you take it out of the box, you can never put it back in.

@@BossksBounty Happened to me with the 2nd wave of The Force Awakens 3.75 basic figures...scored all 4 at TrU in Queensway and it dawned on me that they were not on YT...so I rushed home and filmed them...carded, should have opened them!

I was going to buy the Falcon from about 10 or more years ago that came with Han & Chewie figures for my niece & nephew. But didn't buy it because it was $150 (thought that was too much). What an idiot I was.
@Brian Inglis I did the same exact thing. I wanted it, knew I wanted it, and convinced myself they would make a more accurate scale one down the line, and to hold off for that one. :)
