I apologize for commenting alot Daddy, its just my respect for you as an artist. Geniuses are a rare breed, endangered species and very hard to find. I think I'm going to spend the rest of the evening listening to you walk it away. Thank you as always Daddy..
Good morning Daddy..☕ I picked up a Fender mustang micro. I can pair it with you tube, so you can play along with what your watching, which is wonderful cause now you can teach me how to play 6 string bass :) I taught myself to play guitar playing along to Are you experienced (Jimi) I can't grasp the theory Daddy, I have to play and feel it or forget it. Just wishing you well old man, thank you for the music ❤
I can definitely hear just a little Slow Tx Blues in A. It’s always a great feeling to hear a passage of music anywhere and realize you already know how to play some of it. Less of the new song to learn and more ideas for the passage you know.
Super-duper! Para mi, este es sin duda... el único canal de youtube donde comentar es un obligado placer. Lo haré una y otra vez... sin descanso. Een toostpappi!
Jeez lousie, that is some sweet playing. Reminds me of Arthur Big Boy Crudup who had a version of that song. We saw Crudup play at a place in Washington, DC, the Childe Harold, in the summer of 1973. Crudup played everything in E but his playing was not nearly as sophisticated. I learned a lot about blues in E by watchuing him for a couple hours. Some of your playing on that tune reminds me also of a couple Indianapolis guys, Pete Franklin and Scrapper Blackwell. Franklin, in particular, had some really cool guitar work.
Thanks, you're lucky to have seen them play, especially Scrapper Blackwell as he died early (1962). Crudup played everything he recorded in E but tuned to E minor, check his playing on youtube, there are several video's of him, he never frets the 4th and 5th string at the second fret.
I was wondering what was going on since the notes don't really match up with what you're playing. Then I saw that your guitar is tuned down half a step. Will try to pull it off anyway. Great stuff!
@@daddystovepipe Yes, tuning... Unlike you, I am a man of just one guitar, and tuning it up and down is a hassle. Have been listening and learnig from you for quite a long time. Your arrangements are outstanding, keep them coming!
