@@BillyFitzgeraldGolf I do have one question. With malaska and your method, are you shallowing the arms in the downswing or the club? I know malaska says the arms and club together but don’t fully understand that. Thanks for your help. Great teachers make difficult things simple to understand.
Billy, love this video. Can you please do another video like this? I like that external feedback of the left arm being parallel to the stick then inside the stick. I think that’s very important to avoid getting steep in transition. Thanks for the great content.
Hi Billy: One thing I've noticed in your swing that might explain a flaw in mine as I try to develop your model: For instance, at 1:35 in the clip, I notice you lay your club shaft back (or off) a bit more than Mr. Malaska with a flat left wrist (rather than more vertical). Am I correct? I think this occurs because you rotate your right shoulder back (thus also flexing the trail wrist maximally) and it is there where you begin the downward loop. Correct? My tendency is for the shaft to remain too upright, presumably without the proper trail arm rotation, which causes a rough transition, fat shots, and right misses. Anyhow, just an observation and so I thought I'd ask and inquire if this position helps you with the transition. I enjoy your videos. Thanks!
Hi Mark…yes good eye. I was actually doing that on purpose. The arm motion we were working on was because my club was getting across the line so I was over emphasizing the club being opposite of across the line which would put the club laid off. 👍⛳️
Marc...left arm felt parallel or straight back on the back swing. This keeps the right elbow and arms from being “trapped” behind your body which locks your right arm and shoulder up On the way down the left arm doesn’t feel bent rather getting closer to my chest or “shallowing” It feels like a loop with my left arm.
Greg Make sure the face of the club doesn’t fall too far behind your hands. As you swing down let the weight of the head of the club fall towards the ball not away from it.
Makes perfect sense Mike. I can’t thank you enough. Loving the whole package of your teaching.
Best video from Malaska I have ever watched. Straight information without the extra. Good job to you both!!
Thanks Nathan. Some solid and simple information to take in. Always enjoy my time with Mike!
Thanks for watching 👍⛳️

Nathan Perry: The arms and club shallow together. Twisting your shoulders and hips into the ball on the downswing will make the club too steep.
Awesome !! Great teacher Mike is !! Ty guys

Will do Ryan and thanks for watching ⛳️👍…..I do have content to be released in the near future about being more specific with ground forces

@@BillyFitzgeraldGolf Ah -- I see. Thanks, Billy!
This stands the club up, Nichols, or tips the shaft, MM.... right?
Mainly so the arms don’t get stuck and can amount to other problems. Good catch 👍⛳️
Billy.... so did that feel parallel and then bent to you?
