I'm actually glad to see The Big Swede introduced and know his background (GO St. Patrick !). I've been watching for a while, and am now going back to the beginning of the series and binging on all of Larson Farms videos. Keep making them, I'm catching up just like Air Force One !
I'm slowly working my way through the earlier videos and I got a real kick out of this one. Seeing how awkward Chet is with filming in front of Erik at the start, and how serious Erik looks on his first day compared to what they get up to these days is a hilarious contrast! Sending you guys lots of thoughts and prayers, hope you're feeling well Nikki!
A landmark episode, for sure. I wondered when Erik joined the farm. I know I'm binge watching to get caught up, but it doesn't feel like it. Every vid is enjoyable!
Yup - musta been the new guy put the oil on the broom handle! Welcome Erik! Good job Chet, ya didn't break anything in this video! A good one as always. Thanks for the update!
Super video, and your capris are tres chic! It is exciting somehow to watch that cart be lifted, then attached to its wheels and pulled off a trailer without toppling over. Nice.
Great video again!! You are a great video man never be Nerves to video in front of anyone your a pro! Love watching your videos! Just remember where you came from never let your channel become a commercial like the other Minnesota channel!!😄👍🏼
Thanks you guys for nice video. You have nice well maintained machinery and equipment and nice shop down there in Minnesota. Enjoy the fixed and upgraded equipment👌👍 Enjoy the job and up-to-date machinery and tech there Erik👍
Hey Chet! Another award winning video. You dad's a HOOT! Ripping a blue shop towel cleaning a broom handle takes years of practice...:-) I really like your dad's office..."Hillary for Prison-2018"...priceless!! Thanks for sharing your day with all of us...take care Chet.
Very interesting video. Like those new products you demoed. Pretty slick way to drain out the oil in the quad bogies. Dougo is pretty good with a sledge. New guy is fearless. Good addition! Good video, thumbs up.
...finally gave in and looked up "supposably" ..."supposably" it is a word in the US...never heard it before... and the only other place I've ever heard 'Selinoid" was here in Eastern Ontario... My dad was of Scandinavian descent, his family moved from N Dakota to Sask around 1900... He always had a bit of a twang, but when I saw the movie Fargo years ago I thought "holy s#$*, there it is!" (but maybe a little exaggerated in the movie). Awesome video, and I'm looking forward to the next one!
Welcome EriK with a "K" spelled the "cool" way according to Chet......I am sure you will be an asset to the farm and hope you can hang here on the You Tube channel....You are runnin with one of the best😎 ag channels on You Tube so KEEP UP! No pressure😁 Good Luck! Look forward to seeing you in vids.
33 thumbs down what the hell are they not liking!! Are they brain dead? Best farm video channel on RUclips on my opinion!! Keep up the good work on the channel!
Awesome vid! I've been watching for some time now just haven't commented much. Thanks for sharing! Love your shop equipment and farm..your an awesome utuber
An engineer? Boy, you're going to have fun with him!! When something breaks down make sure you let him fix it so he can get a taste of why engineers put things where you can't get at it!! lol, Great Video!!
Hey Chet, awesome video and operation. I'm looking at building a shop like yours, can you tell me what the deal is with the concrete floor? Did you guys have it sealed or put any product on it to make it suitable for shop use and fluid spills. Thanks!
I got construction engineer diploma and 1st year John Deere ag tech. Been wrenching and working around 9860sts, 9530 and 379 big nose Pete and all big equipment.
Ah Nikki....come on @09:06 that is COLD saying Chet is wearing "capri" snow pants😂🤣😂🤣And DAMN Comedy GOLD ending from Dougo ...."years of practice" ....... Definitely the best ag channel on You Tube
Your Show & Tell about how & why the J&M cart unloading auger got damaged was interesting. But nothing was said about J&M correcting the CAUSE of the failure, the "frozen" hydraulic solenoid. Seems they only fixed the mechanical hardware not the actual cause of the failure. I’ve never heard of Cold temps, or even water in the oil causing a valve to “stick”. The hydraulic oil pressure is high enough to un-stuck a valve and even crush ice as mixed-water in the oil. The valve must be internally mis-machined. Perhaps it should at-least been replaced or a different brand installed.
What an awesome setup you have. How many generation farm is this? Think you should talk mn millenium farmer how to purchase the “right machine”. Lol. Great videos my 17 yr old like these too
It's hard to tell how big that grain cart really is until you see it sitting on the low boy there. What's that weigh full of corn? And can you haul more with tracks then the same cart running wheels and tires??
Yeah then drag all that sand in the shop ! The retards on the county highway put down about a ton of sand every 20 feet around here and I haul a wheel barrel a week out of my shop so it doesn't go down the drain ! He should have thrown a chain under the tire for traction !
9:42 "...supposably...." You mean supposedly, Chet. This is a pet peeve of mine and Chet says it repeatedly. Supposably is the adverb form of supposable meaning may be supposed or conceived. Supposedly means allegedly and this is what people mean 99.99% of the time when they say supposably. Come on Amy, what happened? Was he sick that day for grammar? 😉😊
Are you claiming you moved the chute quite easily without cracking the hydraulic lines? Must be a pressure relief valve on the down chute side. Must be engineered with restrictors and a lower working pressure on that down side of the cylinder. If the lines were cracked any air in the system is compressible.
Question, how do you like the Quad track vs the 2track JD? Also, could you please level out you audio, I keep having to turn it up and down, especially when the music omces on.
That "lend a hand" thingy, should be 😳FAR😳 bigger, and, have a thingy at the top, like you have in them climbing thingys. 🤔Or even, just a gap in it, big enough for a hydraulic pipe. I bet you're gonna have to cable tie pipes to the ones going through it🤔🤔😘
the beginning of this video is the definition of bittersweet, we are missing ya Ladybug

Nifty Cool video Chet.
What a way to end a friendship!!
Chet, don’t you wish changing tractors and truck tires went that easy. Good video 👍
Great video

Nice vid Nikki!! It’s almost like he knows what he’s doing! 😂💪🖖
I was waiting for Chet to say when explaining what happened to the grain cart...….'it was messed up"...….kinda to the point! Enjoy the vids
33 thumbs down what the hell are they not liking!!
Are they brain dead?
Best farm video channel on RUclips on my opinion!!
Keep up the good work on the channel!
You need to get Dougo camera and let him make segments, like Brian’s farming videos “bob cam”!!
I know (well, knew) a "farm family" in Buffalo. One brother ran the feed mill in town, two others ran a dairy farm south of town. Good people.
Great video thanks
My gosh! It's Randolph, and he speaks!!
good you got your cart fixed LOL!
Chet Larson is the most Minnesota name ever.
😀 Another great video guys - Y’all are funny 😂
Super nice
Nice, the day Big Swede started 😁
My little girl said y’all have The Christmas Farm. With all the red, and green equipment.
Get Dougo a laser pointer for his birthday. Good answer Dougo
Love your videos but I can hear you great when you are driving but in the shop I can barely hear anyone keep your videos they are awesome
super video, great job, really enjoyed it

Oh the start of the Big Sweede
Erik with a K is the best way to spell it
the lie detector has determined that was a lie 😂

Didn't say he was a mechanical engineer. My guess is some sort of civil engineer or agriculture engineer.
HA HA HA , that last one was funny, years of practise while rubbing up and down a stick XD
Hey guys, great videos. Awesome how u need a 600hp quad track to run the grain kart. She must be huge.
They are heavy when loaded takes a big tractor to handle the weight
@@joeerickson8182 can you tell how mutch weight in kilograms? A full loaded grain cart say a big one .
Your channel is taking off Chet, I predict 100K by summer or at least harvest...............
Oil Drena is really really cool I can imagine how hard it would be without that
Super
Ladies&Gentlemen.....The Big Swede!!!!
Minnesnowta? Use Blue coral spray for that carpet, it will clean and then dry up. Any auto parts store. Nice oil drain and the hose holder. :)
Your shop would put a lot of. dealer shops to shame.
GREAT VIDEO.QUESTION:WHY HAS THE GREENCAR TRACKS INSTEAD OF ROUND WHEELS ? IT ONLY RIDES ON DRY LAND.
Less competition and definitely hasn’t been dry the last few falls.
Dougo is up to something with his devil smile. hahaha
Hey Chet, awesome video and operation. I'm looking at building a shop like yours, can you tell me what the deal is with the concrete floor? Did you guys have it sealed or put any product on it to make it suitable for shop use and fluid spills. Thanks!
They put some chemical on it for curing but it is not sealed as far as I know.

The Big Swede first day working for the Larson's.
I'm just glad they could get the cart fixed, otherwise they would have had to buy another new one.

Nobody is really sure could’ve just been a bad solenoid. Long story short things got bent And wrecked unfortunately.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍WHAT DOUGO SAYS
great, need to get the young lady driving the tractors

Chet are you and Dougo going to be at the National Farm Machinery Show this year?
Probably not
@@LarsonFarms Bummer! Hoping to see you there to get autographs!
Our definition of an Engineer up here in Maine is a person that is educated beyond their ability to think.lol
It's hard to tell how big that grain cart really is until you see it sitting on the low boy there. What's that weigh full of corn? And can you haul more with tracks then the same cart running wheels and tires??
80,000 pounds pretty much full
Did he say he grew up in buffalo??? That's where I'm from ,
Could you use both lifts on the cart and just have the truck driver drive out and then slowly lower it to the ground?
A few rounds with a sand spreader might help with traction out in the yard at winter.
Yeah then drag all that sand in the shop ! The retards on the county highway put down about a ton of sand every 20 feet around here and I haul a wheel barrel a week out of my shop so it doesn't go down the drain ! He should have thrown a chain under the tire for traction !

You know Chet, we all become our parents eventually. So how long until you start cleaning window and other things?
You should get some weather tech floor mats made. Lol
Do the tracks on the grain car just free wheel or are they hydraulic assist when you are out in the field?
Are you claiming you moved the chute quite easily without cracking the hydraulic lines? Must be a pressure relief valve on the down chute side. Must be engineered with restrictors and a lower working pressure on that down side of the cylinder. If the lines were cracked any air in the system is compressible.
Isn't there a rubber cushion and clamp to keep the hose arm from clanging against the metal or swinging out when not needed?
Yup there is.
You shoulda swapped it out for the black one!
Was the grain cart full when they took it away.🤔?.
Question, how do you like the Quad track vs the 2track JD? Also, could you please level out you audio, I keep having to turn it up and down, especially when the music omces on.

Could you put in a link for the capri pants? Important for doing any ag work.

So Chet that box that you replaced the components in, did you replace electronic components or something else?
Electric components yes
