As a retired dairy farmer from Wisconsin, I understand much of what you do and enjoy watching your videos. I have been watching for quite a while. You and your dad are some hard working, and very smart at all the fixing and operating all your fine machinery. Good luck on a new season coming up. I will be watching all your videos as they come out. Thanks for what you do. George McPherson LaValle Wisconsin

My grandfather did the same thing with a marker about 7 years ago. Instead of barely missing the truck. He proceeded to drag the maker folded up down the side of his farm truck. He put a 3 inch cut down the entire side of that f250 ford. The truck was dragged about 6 feet from where he parked it. I seen the entire event from our other tractor as I was disking. He never even noticed that he hit the truck . He was 90 years old and still farming. Nice video stay safe and farm on my friends!

think every farm have one of then my great-great-grandfather has destroyed more of them yea he finally destroyed the machine itself the only tree for mile lol turning around and hit the tree hard the tree fill on the tractor too we parted out with of them from that we can make money in use parts 15 years oh so we build a shop there to help out taking parts off of the machinery we get in I was a very young boy than to
it's your downtime and your wages in the fall harvest chains are the cheaps way out to repair when you start to move the chain tension to tighten the chain up just get it over with and shoot your self in the foot question would your I know I would not want to it does hurt a lot I was very lucky I never lost it, shooting gofer my brother hand me a loaded gun and the lock was not on
change of the chain before it costs money we do every couple year we buy chain at the commercial bearing retailer at half piece for the same chain and chain links too they do sell sprocket of very kind make any size belts to we get them there to the same thing start to toughen them up it time for to change them out when you doing the tighten pull more wear in the chains and the sprockets and now wearing the sprockets out some as a belts and a pulley sorry you just throwing your money away when you do that I sorry learn from your mistakes lose year the first time my grandfather had corn we had someone take it off for use a farmer traded use for 5 of the long haul trucks and the contracts we had for his land, not the farmyard he wanted
the question everyone is asking use are we planting corn this year well if we do hundreds of farmers around would too they well know if we did when it time to plant we are hiring the corn out to be planted my grandfather and my dad gone to the states to look at corn planters and truck the was rolled over information on the truck was very wrong they when out and bought a new tow truck 2 year of looking it's over now
pincushion my uncle said he loves the states special the south parts when the sun it at people look twice when the is him the porcupine love have a shower every sound night he wants one, my aunt has trained them an animal well
she has a suit and a tie or for the girls a dress lol she dresses her skunks up and to them to do there banking in town she has allowances for them lol spoiled rotten animals
well it up to yourself in what you want to do anyways do the math now how much more will it cost you down the road maybe write what it would cost this year and couple years down the road it cost

It nice to see you can laugh about breakdown and accidents that break things instead of getting upset. Our farming days were not like that at all. Was my grandmothers farm that my uncle was in charge of everything. Was a big man, about 270 and 6 ft 3 in and as mean as they come. He never praised or said good job in his life to anyone within the family. It's the reason I didn't stay on the dairy, other wise I would be just northeast of you all probably right now.

Was planting from one side of a field while another worked from the other side. It was probably 11pm when we are both out of seed in the middle of the field with two pass left between us. The guy driving the pickup with the seed flies up to the other guy first and low and behold he's left the marker arm down. Pickup runs right into and subsequently halfway over it. Truck now has a busted oil pan and the planter has a one less marker arm.

I remember my favorite Dougo quote " Why couldn't God make a man with three arms and a light in the center of his forehead " And thought how it would have helped with planter marker? And came up with this, three arms would have throw that marker farther in the weeds and out of site !

When using bigger welders on small stuff you need to use chill bars. Some metal backing to pull some of the meat out of the metal being welded. In some cases the thicker the better, i like to use similar metals, its all about heat control and clean metal especially with aluminum

Where you explain what you do with the different Traktors? I think there are more people like me how have some questions there. Like why you have 3 Qadtrac's is there a reason why you use Quadtrac's and not John Deere 9RX ? Or why do you have one cat and one John Deere ? Why not 2 Deer's or 2 Cat's. And maybe more Information about yor Fram wich crops are you producing? And why do you have a dozer and a Excavator ( second business ?)
And so on and so forth
Anyway greetings from Germany See you in the next one..

Your Dad and you remind me of a farmer I work for back in School this would be back in the 70s. Your dad has the same temperament that Bob had who I work for. He had younger kids but they were too young to work in the farm and since he was a friend he hired me to be his swamper. As much as I hate to admit it we had as many activities that you and your dad I remember the first time he got a 4X4 pickup. We both that we were is Hog Heaven because we didn't have to slam through mud holes and could drive normal while in the pastures. That's why I enjoying your channel so much you all remind me of Bob and myself when I was in high school. As long as no one gets hurt everything will be okay
He's the one that taught me that a hamburger is the perfect meal. He told me when you eat a hamburger you get your salad that you could lettuce with the dressing pictures of mayonnaise or mustard did you get your pickles and onions tomato your meat and bread he said if you think about it there's no reason to eat anything else but a hamburger I don't know how many times I told my kids the same thing. So I'll be safe and have fun

Sadly I can not come up with a proper nice word other than it's a "son of a gun ;-) " I now leave that to baby bro :-).. An as far as the planter marker? Well that farming an whoopsie happens to all of us an as I see it ? It was the truck fault ;-) is moved it's self in the road! Yep I like that story :-).... The closet isn't big enough if you put all the unwanted salesmen in it. Why don't you have a larger corn header for the S790? On that planter marker, a good welder could cut out those 2 bad kinks by where it fastens to the planter, and then weld it all back up, as good or better than new!

Most unfortunate accident. Sure can't wait till it thaws and dries out so spring tillage and planting can begin.
