The fact that every single one of Gaunson's predictions for the anvil vs. blender came true: the anvil got chopped, the walls got broken up, the motor stopped, AND the blades got bent. Impressive and terrifying.

There aren’t many channels that I watch every single episode drop,, but I’m always so pumped to watch a How Ridiculous drop…. I’m so jealous that THIS is your jobs,,,just 3 friends getting to be silly and wreck stuff in such creative ways….. You guys are truly living the dream.
I have to agree with you. They are the same age as me also and to wake up everyday and be with your best buds doing the funniest shit has to be the absolute dream. I love every drop as well.

The fact that the first blade hit on that anvil actually cut a chunk of the anvil clean off is dope.
definitely need a big flywheel underneath and a belt drive or something to the motor, I know sometimes it bogs down over a long period but the flywheel would really up the game for initial destruction, if you look at BattleBots spinners the momentum is a massive game changer
@@trif55yeah they're youtubers not engineers 😂, but 100% agreed a couple hundred kilo flywheel and everything is dropped not started on the blades.

The ONLY error you made making the MAHOOOOSIVE blender, was making it SQAURE in shape and not BARREL shaped. The barrel shape helps with mixing and 'Re-blending' of what's inside (if you look at any slow mow of normal blenders you'd see how the action works... But in either case, I am IMPRESSED on how much SERIOUS ABUSE you've given it and it STILL stands up today! (except for that one time it wouldn't shut off!) Hahahaha

A quick tip from an electronic hobbyist:
Don't drop the item in until it reaches full speed as whe the motor spins up it draws a lot of inrush current and the resistance of an item during inrush can cause the motor to draw a lot more current than it's ment to.

I really want to see a like a mid-week kinda bonus episode of Editor Jack and Michael and all the behind the scenes guys talking about the craziest shoots/logistics/their reactions kind of thing. I know that this is probably a members vid, but I'd love to see it for those of us who can't do a membership.
I'm always worried that someone's gonna accidentally hit the button when y'all are inside the blender or standing under the axe.

@@amymast3739 I know they showed their safety precautions at one point, but I'd still like to see them implement some sort of lockout system where every person going into the blender physically locks the mechanism and has to personally unlock it. That's probably a little overkill for such a (relatively) small and focused operation, but it's where my mind goes with safety.
@@amymast3739not this time, blender was started with the anvil suspended while they were far too close and not in their "safe" positions. On the most dangerous drop they completely neglected all safety protocol

I think it would be epic for the 44 club to see Glenda off by dropping some failed blends from the old 44 meter height just to see some max carnage! Pretty please with a barrel on top? 😅👍
The only upgrade I can suggest is air compressor nozzles in the base/floor so the little bits of semi-blended junk get blasted back up into the carnage. Maybe even a modified air hockey table concept. Love seeing this stuff, stay safe fellas!
A lid would be nice too, at least close around the walls so stuff cant just shoot out of the top.

Do you guys remember those cap guns? and you could take the reel of caps, put it on the floor and throw stones at it and set them off? How about a LOAD of cap reels under the giant hammer? or make the worlds largest cap reel to put under it and set off.
Also, worlds largest pea-shooter to launch stuff at a big concrete block or have the giant axehead positioned on it's side so they hit it head on?

so supposedly for poly carbonate, I was told by a customer when I used to work for a dealership that since poly carbonate gets foggy over time due to scratches use lemon or orange pledge furniture cleaner (or something like it if you're not in the States) and it will clear the cloudiness up and make it look new since it gets into the micro scratches.
You gotta add something to the corners to stop things from getting trapped and being missed by the blades

I absolutely love the blender, I'm super happy that despite the the technical difficulties and disappointment y'all still made modifications and stuck with it ahahaha.

Call me crazy but I couldn’t standing inside that blender. 1 I’d be too afraid of a technical malfunction and it turning on. 2 I don’t trust anyone enough

I think using mild steel is a poor choice too. I am a metal fabricator and we sometimes use a version of stainless steel called "LDX" Lean Duplex steel which is 3.5x stronger than normal. It would make a world of difference for the blades!

Imagine having the world largest blender and the resources to make giant ice blocks and not making the worlds largest smoothie
Imagine a version of this blender powered by geared drive to like, a diesel or something. PTO off a tractor or an engine all its own, geared to drive the blades way beyond what the electric setup they have can do. If garage 54 has taught me anything, its that you can use axles and gearboxes to achieve any level of increase or reduction of speed you want.
Blender 2.0 Upgrades.
What you need to do is connect the blades to a large weighted fly-wheel and drive that with a belt from the motor. Give those blades some inertia and protect your motor.

It might be fun to put some soft blades in. Brass, bronze, and copper are pretty common in sheet form.
