Accuracy when throwing something out of a helicopter is tougher than you would expect. But I agree, some of these misses were unacceptable...do better...lol

Editor jack deserves a raise for this video. Efficient and fast-paced so the action was non-stop, and the quality and comedic timing of the bits with the 360 cam, KFC references, etc. we’re impeccable.

After watching Cleetus Mcfarland with his helicopter training, it's incredibly difficult to get near ground targets.
The fact the pilot could stay *that* close is nothing short of impressive. I'm willing to bet he spent a significant amount of time flying in the military.
Damn, I didn't know helicopters were 1000 feet long these days. Modern technology really is mind blowing.

Why yes...I actually have played darts from a helicopter...lol. While in the Military, part of my "job" was to drop sensors, shaped like very large lawn darts, out of the door or ramp from various helicopters on a weekly basis... from what I recall, conditions allowing, we would generally fly 80 knots at 500 ft so our aiming point was consistent. We would drop 3 to 5 sensors in a "string" with the preferred impact sites marked on a map and a team member working as a "plotter" to record actual impact point so we could adjust the distance figure in our computations.....this was all Pre-GPS

@@kevinjohnson7345 ...though we did do some drop training while at sea just to maintain our flight hours, the sensors "We" dropped were seismic sensors....No Subs involved, just enemy troops, trucks and tanks. When we weren't deploying them by air, we would sneak in and place them by hand...other designs of course (seismic, infrared, magnetic, audio)
They should have painted a target on the grass so you get some points for missing objects but still getting closer to the center.
Back to the tower lads and make a giant slingshot.... fire things that have a GPS tracker in them and see what goes furthest 🎉😋. Always following all the way from Ireland 🇮🇪 🤙

Imagine having a perfectly good, stationary tower, and then renting a helicopter to do this.
the idea was to go higher than the 165dam where we played this last time. Would’ve been weird to play it from only 45m as a sequel… tho given our accuracy with a moving helicopter we prob now have a reason to do it at the tower 😂

These Lads are amazing and it is great to see them just having fun and a good time. The level to the videos are crazy to like custom built things and helicopters which everyone should appreciate the commitment they put into the videos.
And the cost. Renting a helicopter isn't cheap

Too many of the best projectiles missed entirely. Everything that missed should have been dropped until it hit something. The dart was impressive even as a miss, though.
Yeh was a bummer. We only had a limited time with the chopper so we tried to pump out the drops to hit as much as possible. Wish we’d hit more but maybe we just got really lucky at the dam last time 🤷🏻♂️ could be fun to play it with a slightly diff format at the tower, maybe if an item gets hit it’s points are gone? 😬
