i know, the echo off of those big metal walls makes it that much better
Forget the sound the water hit the ground with so much force that it stripped the impact zone ripping up all the grass and just left a water filled crater. The force of water escaping was enough to send a camera that weighs at least 5 pounds half a football field away.
I feel like the equipment couldn't have possibly caught the full effect of the sound here, and not just the volume. The boom and the reverb must have been such that you could feel it in your chest, were you there. Definitely would have liked to been there live for this one.

@brendan moriarty The amount of water throughout the world doesn't really have any bearing on how much water is wasted in one spot, it's not very feasible to move water around. Not saying this is a waste but you can't really say it's not simply because there's water in a completely different place.
@brendan moriarty And it's clearly not potable water so it's not like there are kids suffering from it or anything.
It also really isn't that much water in the grand scheme of things. Most restaurants probably use more water than that in a day or two. Not to mention all the swimming pools and industrial cleaning services around the world. It seems like a lot to us because the vast majority of us never interact with that much water at one time, but it's minuscule. There's lots of water in the world, especially dirty water.

@@Allangulon billable rate for a journeyman operator and a rigger/signalman is 1500 a day (2 guys) about 750 each. They charge about 95/hour minimum 8 hours if they show up on a job. I believe minimum billable is 4 hours OT if they break 8 hours.
