  • #esoteric #esotericteachings #occultism #occult Are there secrets in the Bible? Is it occultism to study them? Is esotericism and occultism the same? What kind of approaches are there to teaching and learning theology and what's allowed?

1:25 An Old Testament example of this? Damn that's something I never knew existed. I never picked up on that until now🤔

1:56 That's the balance most people can't get. They either think the bible is only esoteric ( zeitgeist and Astrotheology,) or they think it's entirely literal ( the average Christian,) it's annoying to be the only one to that figure that out so it's relieving to know that someone else has came to the same conclusion 🤠

Are you a baptized Orthodox Christian?

Yes, I'm. I was baptized in the Serbian Orthodox Christian Church when I was a baby.

It's weird that you mention Kabablah on this day of all days.
I was in the library of my course and I was about to read a Kabbalah Text but then my conscience told me not to. It was weird, I felt like this was the wrong thing to do weridly enough.
Also now that you mention all this esoteric stuff this made me realize that all the Catholic Sacrements have this esoteric meaning too. It's just that no one understands it apart from the church heirachy themselves.
It also proves to me that The Brotherhood of Saint Peter is the origin of The Catholic Church. It makes much more sense to have an initiation ritual like the eucharist and confirmation in a mystery cult or brotherhood then to just have it in a religion
It also explains the rosaries and the stations of the cross. It's all a code for something we don't understand.

I don't believe in coincidences. You can read the Kabbalah. I have tried doing so. It's so damn boring and really it's pointless.
I'm not Catholic myself. So I had to look up what the Catholic Sacraments are: "There are seven Sacraments: Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick, Matrimony, and Holy Orders." I'm covering those things here, so we should be good.
As for The Brotherhood of Saint Peter, there were cults in those days. I think they have been pretty much always around. The Catholic Church was very different when it was founded. They had no power. They were subservient to the state. It took hundreds of years for them to become a powerful organization. I think that even if there was one cult that founded the Catholic Church, eventually, multiple cults/families/organizations/societies/fraternities have gotten involved. You can even see that in their exoteric interpretation. For example, the idolization of Mary is cleared based on the Isis worship that was going on during early church history. Everything that I know about Catholicism and the Catholic Church reminds me of their history. It's not like in case of the Mormon church. Mormonism has been founded by an occultist. They didn't have to wage a power struggle and develop their theology bit by bit through centuries of time.

@@OrthopraxChristianity I don't doubt that The Catholic Church picked up on a lot of other doctrines and religions.
Even protestants do that. A lot of christains online who talk about spiritual warfare or Satan's kingdom are getting their ideas from Gnosticism. Evangelicals are ironically more gnostic then a lot of Gnostics are.
I actually agree with you about other families and factions. I think that's how The Brotherhood of Saint Peter rose up. It's hard to know wether their intentions were good or not but it is clear to me that their actions and methodology must of came from this history and what your talking about.
And Joseph Smith was definitely bad. He was a freemason and he had a 14 year old wife. The only doctrine I agree with them about is the idea that we were pre existent souls. We technically are due to reincarnation.
