I think Craig Williamson just wanted out of his marriage (but didn't know how to tell his wife and didn't want to spend the money for a divorce) but when he saw the episode of him on Unsolved Mysteries, he probably had some guilt over ghosting his wife and didn't want her to spend the rest of her life and money looking for him, so ran with the nurse's story that he had a head injury due to being mugged and robbed.
Scuba Steve Exactky. I felt so bad for Christine but at least she doesnt have to spend the rest of her life looking for him. She was likely heartbroken.
The fact that woman who “saw” Bigfoot was interviewed in silhouette was hilarious. I don’t think Bigfoot is watching Unsolved Mysteries so he can come and get you.
Craig Williamson, reported missing with possible amnesia. He saw himself on the broadcast and called his wife. Police think his story is questionable and he likely left on his on accord. I totally agree, he just split to run from his debts and a quicky marriage he regretted.
Yes this is the likliest scenario -- anyone with a brain concussion of that severity where you can barely get yourself from Point A to Point B is going to wind up homeless -- it's literally impossible for spontaneous recovery to happen and then you conveniently have everything you need to rent a new apartment, get a new car, buy a TV, make money at a job, etc.

Yeah, a very sad update, but still a joyous reunion with her sister before Dyann passed. Thank God UM and that investigator made it happen. I wonder if Marilyn was with Dyann when she passed. Hope so 😢.
My dad worked in Elk City Idaho when I was a child and he rented a little cabin along the highway. I was terrified of Big Foot because of this episode. We ended up moving to a larger cabin. I was secretly terrified of ever seeing a Big Foot. Subsequently, my parents also let me watch Fire in the Sky while we lived in rural Idaho. I can not watch a film about grey aliens to this day because of it.
You had every right of the fear of bigfoot in Idaho. A lady was driving from or to Payette Idaho, cant remeber exactly what way she was coming, when she saw bigfoot on the hills. Her car broke down or something, and when she looked to wheres they usually only cattle, she said she saw him running across the hills. I drive that area a lot for work and other things, that I know for a fact the hills in which she saw him at, are hills that farmers never go near. Simply for the fact if you take the wrong step or somehow fall, youll tumble and keep tumbling, and you wont stop till youre laying on the highway with 80mph traffic coming at you.
Despite his claims, investigators are still suspicious of Craig Williamson's amnesia and believe that he staged his disappearance. They believe that he ran away to escape debts and the responsibilities of running his new business. I agree.
Craig Smith. Yep, I do believe what you wrote in your comments, and I agreed with you 100%. Poor Christine, she is hanging on to someone who is not worthy at all. She deserves better. SMH 🤦♀️
I miss the 80s. I to this day don't understand why I , as a kid kept watching this show even though it scared the living shit out of me. I love Robert Stack to death, but he scared the living shit out of me as well. And I kept watching. God bless those two sisters.

It's been 12 years since I've lost both parents a year are part. This time of year which is Christmas is the hardest. Anyway when I come here and watch Unsolved Mysteries, it brings Comfort because that's something we always did together.
Yes! Me too! This show used to scare me as a kid also! Between the music and his voice I would be so scared watching these episodes at night. The ghost stories used to scare me the most!!
Same here. Once, I went to bed right after watching this and my dad turned on the patio light. I thought one of the UFOs from the show was over the backyard. Fun times though looking back 😊
Yep! Tuesday nights I think! I was a little kid and Rescue 911 was exciting and uplifting, while this show terrified me but I couldn’t stop watching. The intro music still gives me the creeps 😂
@@kmik4466 Haha, that’s true, but at least with Rescue 911, the outcome was almost always positive and the bad guys were caught. Unsolved Mysteries, on the other hand, left me with the same fear except that the people responsible were still lurking in the shadows 😅

While accounts vary , the incredible thing is they report approximately the same number of sightings as well. Rumor has it one said " I have no idea why they pound trees with sticks , but I just reply back to see what they do next"............
Craig remembered that he was robbed by 2 men, but doesn't remember his relationship?? I'm so sorry Christine. You deserve a man that loves you and is not a coward. That was so horrible what he put you through.
But where was her intuition when she hooked up with him to begin with? And where was her intuition when she was looking for him? It would have kept her from a world of wasted time and energy.
Rest in peace Dyann. So glad that you and Marilyn had a chance to reunite. My sincere overdue condolences to Marilyn and Dyann's family for your loss 😔💐
I dare you, go to where people have had encounters. WA state is a hot spot, BC, too. It doesn't even have to be that remote. Most of the national parks have documented occurrences. Go ask a logger, even RR folks have seen them. Truckers as well. UPDATE: ignorance abounds.
I am 58 but look much younger than Craig. God, thank you for creating people like Craig, I feel I am young and fresh when I see 47 years old men like him!
I used to love this show as a kid. Every Wednesday night, I made it a point to watch. The Wacker case was particularly interesting to me; I grew up right down the road from them in Stark Cty.
Sadly, Bill died in 1999 at age 79. It is not known if the harassment continued after his death. Dorothy died on July 22, 2010 at age 83. Their harasser has never been identified.
There's a longer update when he got found a couple years later, with a little interview how they decided to separate. Yeah, come to think of it they were both kinda weird lol. I wonder if there was more to it than it appeared
The guy said he had a gun, he fired above big foots head. Why was he terrified, scared, ran. It’s curious. I’m glad he didn’t shoot it, but I think it’s a hoax.
No, not weird, she is so happy that her daughter survived, by the grace of God. So that memory makes her smile, Don't believe if you don't want to, some of us do.
I am so happy that the lady who worked so hard looking for her family in the world of traveling carnivals finally found them. She seems like such a nice lady. I just read that she passed in 2018, but at least she got 24 years with the siblings she never knew in her youth.
Excellent show! So many people helped through this program. Robert Stack was a stellar choice for the host. So very many folks helped! This show should indeed go on indefinitely!!
I dont think any of the dumbass people that got caught never thought of a show like unsolved mysteries it thankfully took a lot of trash human beings off the street. One was a pedo that would kick in doors on little girls acting like a cop.
Yeah, I really dont think he was hurt or lost his memory... It was so much easier to say, "I have a bad head injury, Honey, But I'm well enough to go on a trip all by myself! Hon, I got injured later-on, IDK when, but by some thugs, & I wandered-off into the woods & have been living ok since then, even though my wallet has been stolen by those Thugs who beat me up... But Honey, now I have a new life & a new family - Got to go now - it was nice knowing ya!!!" Most likely He was heading to Mexico to hide out & start a new life all over again... I get the sense he'd done this sort of thing before, live off of Sweet Kind Hearted Women with Money & then when things get difficult or he has enough money in his account, he fakes a head injury & leaves - It's soo convenient but really sad for the women they trick!!!
Good opportunity to realize drug-dealer harms more children than the pedophile. Don't let the drug-cartel-influenced Hollywood and government libtards continue to distract you differently. Drug-abuse is child-abuse.
@@daltonlucas5529 Not the worse but damn close. D town is like a killing field, not to mention other shit that goes down. I only go there if theres a family reunion, funeral, or some other important reasons other than just chillin there. A lot, not all are cold hearted ruthless people. They don't even care if they live or die so they don't care about another life rather it be a child or an adult. I'd rather meet my friends half way to Ang town, (Arlington) than travel to Dallas, plus Dallas is a large size city.
Same here. As a kid, the pounding on the rocks and chasing the man down the mountain scared the hell out of me. Even as a 34 year old, I still get a little eerie feeling while watching these episodes.
For sure, the one thing that creeped me out in the movies was Lost Highway (1997) with Robert Blake when he made Bill Pullman call himself at Pullman’s house, creepy.
You got a partner here---true crime addict! And yes, I rest, relax, and go to sleep watching cases. The only drawback is that sometimes my dreams are infiltrated with the words and plot of a given case.
Craig Williamson ditched his wife , they were in debt , and the responsibility of the fish farm was prolly overwhelming, lol and the episode aired 8 times before he called lol
The story of Christine husband is sad. She truly loved him. I have my suspicions about craigs so called amnesia. I think he just wanted out. Just be a man and tell your wife and divorce. He was nothing but a cowardly man.
pepe6666 Craig maybe the exception. I saw this story before and thought Craig grew tired of Christine and left her, and I still think it. He could not remember her, and probably did not want to
As silly as the re-enactment of the angel segment was.... it honestly was very moving. I absolutely believe there are angelic beings out there watching over us if we just ask

Many are guardian angels and those guardian angels are mostly family members that have passed on. They are God, The Holy Trinity's servants and do his will. There are all different kinds of Heavenly Angels - God's angels. Not to be mistaken for the dark ones.

The story of Brenda finding her 11 Siblings is wild and Amazing! Imagine that a TV Show famous for catching Criminals and Solving Crimes, has put an entire Family together after decades of wondering?
The harassment against the Wacker couple is among the weirdest segments ever seen on the show. Who would do that? And why? It's just so baffling and unbelievable, I'm always speechless when I see this story. 😕
@Jn 10:27-28 Well according to this segment and what I've read, the cops heavily suspected Mr. Wacker to be behind this and he was the top suspect for a while. However, they ruled him out as a suspect so I guess they compared the handwriting and concluded he didn’t write the messages.
It was an older and more trusting time. The lack of media and internet made stories less known and stuff. Brain shut off while writing this sorry but you get what I was trying to say.
@@xlnuniex No way! I did the same thing! I wore the Michael Myers mask while I did it! And I asked them if they knew where Haddonfield is 🤣 I loved the reactions I'd get!
If there's one thing this show has taught me: 1) Don't open the door to people you don't know. Not even if they say they're police (like the Blind River Ont rest stop killer Ron West). Prove it. If I end up calling the police on the police at some point, oh well ::shrug:: 2) If you *do* open the door, don't let them in to use the phone because 3) you'll probably need your phone to dial 911/999
too bad the couple could have done this instead - the wife makes sure the camper door is locked and the husband quickly grabs the car keys and starts the camper and takes off. at least the killer would be on the side of the camper and not in the front. but the killer probably would run to the front of the camper and shoot the husband. then shoot the wife. although when people are woken up in the middle of the night - they wont think of smart stuff right off the bat because they are still tired. they didn't "wake up" until the killer entered.
99 times out of a hundred the person knocking on the door will be precisely who they say they are and not harm you in any way. But TV has turned people into such pantshitters...😂
@@annnee6818 Well ever since the early 2000s when everybody had at least a basic cell phone, that whole "need to use the landline phone" thing isn't relevant anymore lol
I loved the ending of this story about siblings reunited. I accidentally came across this series and you can not help but feel raw emotions in all the stories. Nothing theatrical just real people stories. I hope they make more shows like this because these are shows that makes sense and emphasizes humanity. These should be what reality shows should be aimed at. Not commercializing but just being real.
How did you just accidentally come across this series?? Were you living under a rock? It was an extremely popular show in the 80s and 90s and was my favorite show growing up!
Keep in mind home security: cameras, motion detector lights, alarms etc. were not that good back then or readily available back in the 80's & 90's. I wonder if the harassment stopped after Bill's death in 1999..?
@nic kole " You wonder if the harassment stopped after Bill's death in 1999 ? ! ? ! ". 🤔🤔🤔 Good question. I certainly would like an answer to that question, too.
I def think it was the husband. Sadly but I truly truly do. How he never was hurt only his wife or he never wanted to move if my wife got attacked and it's someone out there harassing us... especially the second time she was injured. & then he and the neighbors played "stake out" & the unknown person somehow got a note on the porch without being seen I'd move FOR SURE. But it still doesn't explain the man who asked to use the phone but I still feel it's the husband
The harassment stopped after the message that was delivered after the failed stakeout. It was either the husband or a family member that had a beef with them for some reason.
It was so awesome to see the sisters find each other and reunite so amazing just goes to show the extent this show went to to help or find someone there Awesome 💯♥️
In July 1995, Craig saw a re-airing of the broadcast and recognized himself. He was living in Key West, Florida. He claimed that he was mugged in Colorado Springs and developed amnesia, which was worsened due to the concussion that he suffered the month before he disappeared. Craig could not remember much else from the attack, claiming that he woke up in a hospital with the name "Ron". He also claimed that he wandered aimlessly throughout the United States before arriving in Key West, where he found a job as a diver. Craig soon contacted Christine, along with his ex-wife. Unfortunately, he did not remember Christine or his family. Nevertheless, Christine and Craig were reunited a few days later. The two later traveled to Colorado Springs, hoping that something would jog his memory. However, the trip was unsuccessful. They decided to divorce, but remain friends. Craig moved to California to stay with friends, while Christine moved to Wyoming to start life anew. Despite Craig's claims, investigators are still suspicious of his amnesia and believe that he staged his disappearance. They believe that he ran away to escape debts and the responsibilities of running his new business.
I think he figured out getting married after knowing someone for only a month wasn't a good idea. He staged it all and then felt guilty or panicked and got in touch with her and pretended he didn't know her so he could be free.
The Brenda Abbey segment is one of my favorites. The scene at the end where she is leaving the carnival with all of the lights shutting off behind her and Robert Stack's narration "it seemed she might finally be out of options...until the night of our broadcast" is one of the best moments in show history.
The nurse knew that he had a head injury she recognized the symptoms of amnesia. Craig would not have called Christine and met with her again if he just played this in order to get away.
@alli-kat2329 the music is the equivalent the jaws music...you know something bad bout to happen and the fact he never laughed or showed emotion when he talked. He was creepy cool.
Unsolved mysteries was so needed. It gave a voice to victims, families who lose family to crimes, missing family, that the police or national news didn’t care to help or cover. I think unsolved mysteries solve more crimes than the police.

I can not watch a film about grey aliens to this day because of it.
I had nightmares bc of fire in the sky!
Love that movie but if I ever see a UFO irl, it would legit ruin my life lol!
I read that as “gay aliens” 😂
Oh no! Yes, I can relate! ❤😂

The heartfelt reunions always make my eye gaskets leak.
Thanks

Omg poor Christine. I do not believe Craig's story at all. He just didn't want to be with her anymore. So sad.
Completely ridiculous. As someone who suffered from multiple concussions that lead to amnesia you have no clue what you're talking about
The nurse knew that he had a head injury she recognized the symptoms of amnesia. Craig would not have called Christine and met with her again if he just played this in order to get away.
@@woodworkingandepoxy643I agree with you 100%!!!
So happy that Brenda found all her brothers and sisters.
Wow Big foot, Angels, & a case of Amnesia.. Unsolved Mysteries at its best!
As a child I was scared of this show because of Robert stack voice, as an adult im still shook by his voice.
I dont think he does, it was more the music theme for me lol
@alli-kat2329 the music is the equivalent the jaws music...you know something bad bout to happen and the fact he never laughed or showed emotion when he talked. He was creepy cool.
Great nostalgia TV from my childhood. I watch these on my laptop before I go to sleep. Perfect. Thanks for uploading all of these.
