Nice video. New style for you with the unboxing POV. I took mine out last night (40 degF) for a first ride and had similar feelings. Great alternative to the GTS when not off road, handling is effortless, and a slick would be a perfect fit on this board. Might be Whipser or cloud time next summer.
Thanks dude! Ohhh good call on the Cloud. That may be the perfect combo! Have you tried Session yet? This first ride was all Mission, but tried Session briefly last night and it felt goood. Perfect around town board for sure.
The street psi should not be as low as that of trails. On the street it is advisable to go higher psi, you will notice improvement in range and driving fluidity 👍🏻
Different strokes for different folks. Of course you can always maximize range with higher PSI, but when you're hitting a pot hole at 22 mph, I rather have a little cushion to soften that blow. I tend to run around 6-7 psi on trails and 10-12 psi on street. Reference: 6 years and 10k+ miles of riding both street and trail :)
@@AlexLepoutre it is fair to ride as each person feels most comfortable. We all have our preferences according to our weight, perception, experience and riding sense👍🏻
My only question is does it get rid of the top heaviness that the gt has, I love riding an og xr because it just feels so much more stable, even with 6” hub and leveled wtf rails I could never get rid of that feeling with the GT, if this fixes that issue I will buy it in a heartbeat.
My current board is still the XR. I’d love to upgrade, but I’m not sure if I should go with the Classic or GT. I mostly ride pavement with the occasional off-roading adventure. Is it worth upgrading from an XR to the Classic?
What shoes are you using? Out of all my shoes I've only found one pair to be comfortable and is a great match with the XRC and its Adidas Forum Mid. Everything else I have sucks on the onewheel. Please advise!!!!
These are Ride Concepts Vice Mid mtb shoes, my favorite I’ve tried so far. Cariuma’s are a close second, then Van’s BMX pro’s. I like how the soles of these RC’s are a perfect match for TFL’s Gripples, I can get a really great grip with them.
I like my pint in skyline and my XR in delirium and my pint S in Pacific for some reason , other people seem to prefer the slop , am I missing something?
I didn't know the kush pads had AirTag slots either! Did I miss something? haha. Currently have a CBXR that's mostly on display and doesn't get used, a GTS w/ 5" MTE, and now this XR Classic for around town and group rides. I had a GT w/ dubs, but it's currently for sale 😬
It’s like going back in time but in 4K
cool vid, short sweet run down 🤙🏾
Thanks!
Effortless flow state 💯 just got mine yesterday that’s it I was trying to think to myself how it felt
Right? Loving it!

17:30 Lol, hey dude !
Is that you?! lol
Nice 👍🏽. What psi are you riding on?
I was riding around 15 psi. Planning on pumping it up a bit more for the next ride.
@@AlexLepoutreok cool. I just started riding

Yes, it does. Instantly feel more planted and stable, very XR like.

Yes!
Is riding the Onewheel very fatiguing on your legs? Thanks.
Might be a little at first but as you put more miles on it you get used to it.
@@AlexLepoutreperfect. Thanks!

what kind of range are you seeming to get out of it?
Have only gone on this one ride so far, will have to report back on that.
So lucky 😭
I didn't know the Kush pads had AirTag slots. Which boards are in your stable now?
