I agree with your thoughts above and also I think uncle howdy was trying to remind Bray Wyatt who he was cuz as we know that the fiend character is totally different from the Bray Wyatt's OG cult leader character. Like bray Wyatt was doing the things that the fiend wants him to do. So, "revel in what you are" is some sort of reminiscence of who Bray Wyatt was by uncle howdy like bray Wyatt used to say that he's everything could be uncle howdy or fiend or cult leader and also from his old promo "I am the colour Red in the world full of black and white" so, in my opinion Even if the fiend was somehow answering what Wendy lucho was about to ask, his answer would be no different than Bray Wyatt's 👍
