Hi. Appreciate the review!
Could we hope for a review of Readmi G Pro 27? Should be a very interesting thingy 😉
I ordered this monitor. Also you are an absolute gigachad for still playing BF1.
Hey Los, I've been doing monitor research lately and this is without a doubt the best channel for good reviews and recommendations. I was just wondering if you had a recommendation for the best monitor for a racing simulator. I'm looking for a curved ultrawide around 500 bucks. I'm from Australia so if possible one that I can get there. Thanks
Hi there, nice vid ! I can't wait to receive the mine, just bought it 😉
By the way, where can I find your nice wallpaper ?
Thanks !

How is it with the PS5? And when I go on Amazon it says "frequently returned item"
Can you review the HP Omen 27qs?
is it normal to choose this monitor for working with graphics and text, will it not be tiring for the eyes? I choose between this monitor and MSI Optix G274QPX, and Dell Alienware AW2724DM. and i play games alot) Thank you for help
yeah these specs are truely smart and impressive even on a va panel ! I mean i do not really play that many FPS games ! mini led no burning worry although less than OLED in quality or motion clarity !
we are waiting for nvidia anti motion blur on lower HZ too >
how is the text clarity in windows?
Hi Type-C, what are some of your favorite videogames?
How often does this come in stock on Amazon? Finally decided on the monitor i want to buy and it's out of stock rip
Should I Rather get this or a Gigabyte m27qx? Budegt doesnt Matter they are both the same Price in my Area
Do you have an ICC profile for this monitor?
Could u review the lg 24gn60r-b?
What kind of panel is used in the monitor? This can be seen in the service menu
VA panel.
this video should have more likes
Have it, love it. The colors are perfect. I wish it was 240hz but it is amazing.
What settings did you find best for overdrive and local dimming? Also, do you only use local dimming with HDR?
@Equatis Overdrive medium, local dimming medium, displayHDR and then cranked to 100 contrast on Nvidia control panel is what I settled on. I play with the brightness from game to game. 50% is almost too bright for desktop.
do u have the EU or NA model?
@dariomladenovski7047 NA. I will say my gripe with it has become it is too bright at times. Old CRT blindness vibes. I am playing Project Zomboid and the game is probably designed expecting IPS glow. This has none so some things are pitch black so I turn the gamma/brightness up but then white sidewalks become almost blinding. A minor gripe but you actually need a lit room sometimes to protect your eyes. After adjusting the brightness for project zomboid the other day, turning it up, then restarting, when I sat down I noticed how my chair looked like someone was shining a bright light on it with the windows splash screen that was bright after restart.
Flashbangs in CS2 become virtual reality blindness=p
But it is great.
If only this was in stock. Your Canadian link isn’t even the listing, just the search results lol.
Edit (Feb 23) : It’s finally in stock here in Canada for $423.39. Also in the US for $279.99
Can you confirm us about the horizontal scanline like other VA monitors. Almost every VA panel has it somewhere on the screen.
I've not seen any
Is it worth upgrading from the Dell S2722DGM? The smearing on the Dell bothers me but it looks like this has better response times.
Go with the Chaeper Option both are great!
To watch HDR stuff, do you just turn it on in the monitor settings or do you have to do something in Win10? Anyone care to share their settings?
Ufo test doesn't really look bad for ghosting
First ~ Also, thanks for the content lately man ~ looking forward to all the NEW OLED stuff
The real question is, should I buy this and save the money that it would cost to jump up to OLED? I'm looking at the AOC version (because I like their stands) of the 1440p 240hz panel that LG released a while back. It's down to close to $700, and a 27" OLED gaming monitor is really enticing. Is it $700 enticing is the question, however, because this monitor is really tempting at less than half the price. (Also currently out of stock, but for when it comes back in stock.)
Im in the Same Situation I think im gonna go with this and Buy an Oled later when the Tech is more advanced and Cheaper
This or the lg c3 42 in?
I'm about to buy my first oled
c3
@@ShiggyCompPt2 already got the c3 💪👍🫡
Could you make a video about the Asus ROG Swift PG38UQ monitor. Is this model worth buying? I can't find a review that shows images about it. Could it be worth the purchase?
a litle over a year ago you did a review on the samsung odyssey g6 (not the oled, i mean the curved), would you say its good for 350$?
I'm getting terrible VRR brightness flicker with G-sync. If anyone had solved this on their model please let me know.
couldn't find it anywhere here in Canada
it's on amazon, I bought mine for 359 CAD I think, though the price has gone up now
it shows up spontaneously and now 429@@blankblank5338
whats the difference between the CQ27G3S and this one besides the curve?
Mini leds
What setting did you put HDR mode to?
turn on hdr and monitor should switch to displayhdr mode
Wish it was in stock as I would definitely buy it
It's in stock on Amazon US and Canada right now
is it worth 370 euro? Or should I buy Dell G2724D for 325? (I care a lot abt colors)
If you're mostly after amazing color get an IPS monitor like the Dell. This display's main selling point is its HDR capability.
@@Nephalem84alr thx I will buy the dell
Heyy really nice video. But there's a really cheap monitor which has qhd 240hz with 384 zones and costs around $390 which is the koorui gn10.Please review it 🙏🙏🙏
Im very curious how that one compares, its the same price as this aoc where i live. I heard it cant do hdr and vrr at the same time though..
Here in germany the koorui gn10 is 160€ cheaper than the aoc. But i just cant find a reliable review and dont want to buy it blindly as that is still a lot of money. I heard that it has some problems regarding local dimming and vrr
Would you guys prefer the LG 27GP850-B or the Alienware AW2724DM?? I am trying to decide but I've seen that both are great. Please help lol
this
does this monitor have VRR ?
it has freesync/gsync for pc and xbox but no hdmi 2.1 vrr for ps5
Is it better than Odyssey G7 ? or Alienware aw2723df ? at least similar ?
Depends on your preference if you prefer better viewer angle pick the Alienware or if you like better black levels pick the Odyssey both have the same DCI-P3 coverage 95%, same HDR600 if you want high refresh rate the Alienware can OC to 280hz in displayport.
Don't buy g7 go for g6
@@tazboy1934I don’t know both seem to have a lot of quality control issues
Are you for real? I have the G7, its an edge lit, and the black levels are absolutely terrible.. @@lucasbezerracardoso4662
How about black smearing compared to ips? Is it noticable
it's minimal, really solid monitor
I've had this monitor for about a week and have been loving it, but the only real issue I have with it is that it does not support DDC/CI brightness control at all over DP or HDMI, which is annoying for me because I like adjusting the brightness of monitors frequently in windows.
I was able to get DDC/CI working on this display. The official AOC apps are a crime against humanity, so I used TwinkleTray.
How are the black levels of the monitor ?
@@jimboiq5627 I am very satisfied with the black levels, at worst it's got some slight glow and at best it looks like OLED in certain situations.
Should I get this for ps5 ? Opinions ?
yea hdr would look amazing. keep in mind no hdmi 2.1. 120hz will work but no vrr and allm and features like that
Does anyone know if this is console compatible?
Yes it is
@@JayJ8498 thanks, seen it on the Amazon link afterwards. Ordered one.
Really wanted to go for the ips cooler master with almost 200 more dimming zones but that one seems to have so many firmware bugs.
Besides, at this price, you can’t beat it. Currently 279.99 but was 249.99 back in nov/dec and was 259.99 a few weeks ago. According to 🐪🐪🐫
@@JayJ8498I found that out after the video once I hit the Amazon link 😅 ordered one 🍻
I wanted the cooler master that is an ips panel with 240 more dimming zones but it seems to have so many firmware issues which idk if they’ve actually been fixed with the firmware updates.
But at this price range the AOC is hard to beat. According to 🐪 🐪🐫 the lowest price was 249.99 back in nov/dec which would’ve been even more of a steal.
I’ve had mine for about a week. I like it so far currently playing Horizon Forbidden West. Looks beautiful
@@MasCo630 i would say the va panel would be a better in combination with fald cuz of the higher contrast ratio
G6 odyssey or this?
this
Just use the AOC G-menu software and you wont need to touch those unusable menu buttons again.
I have this monitor and G-menu is scary and awkward. But you only need to set it to displayHDR and medium/strong overdrive and put Nvidia contrast to 100% and it is perfect.
i just got this monitor yesterday and g menu doesn’t work with it for some reason. my previous monitor was an aoc as well and the software has always been garbage but man these buttons on this monitor for controlling the settings is a royal pain in the ass but i’ll take that poor quality for how good this thing looks for the price
i am ok with spending more, but not $800 its hard to find a good monitor at the 4 or 500 dollar mark that as impressive as this is... but I have been down this road and bought a monitor similar years back, and it has bad flickering. its a build flaw which you cant always control, but still - I makes me wary of these types of great deals.

I am guessing a game like Resident Evil 4 remake would be ghosting central? I always used an IPS so I want to know if it will be that noticable.
not really. i played a variety of games and only really noticed ghosting in witcher 3 in really dark caves
No way the static contrast without local dimming is 6.000 to 1
It's around 4000:1 according to spec sheet.
lol 400€ in Europe they can keep it at this price
Сделай обзор по монитору .ASUS TUF VG27AQL3A.заранее спасибо
Нормальный монитор на видео?
I have to say that the review was made without taking into account a very important, key detail. When using local dimming, as the author recommends, the brightness on Windows 10 drops catastrophically. Therefore, it looks very bad in dark games. And it’s a pity that in the review the author does not use games such as Resident evil 3.4 remake. As a result, in reality the situation is not as good as described here. Keep this in mind when purchasing.
He reviewed it only bc of price, it's really cheap for miniLED, but there's only 336 zones, what is really bad. Everything under 1,000 zones looks bad in dark games
@@I_mnotVlad I will lsend back this monitor. Its many problem with hdr content.
switch to w11, hdr is much better
@@ShiggyCompPt2, ye, I did it, also recomend to use rivatuner with different gamma hdr & sdr
@@antonsalnikov21 rtss? where?
280$? Ha, ha, ha. Not in Europe.
Found the EU/UK model for £349
@@olsenfernandes3634 Found in 4 polish shops for £317. It's 400$ still.
or 400$, why do we Europeans always get shafted so hard?
@@dariomladenovski7047 same with gpu prices, it's bullshit
You know that in US price is without taxes?
in greece this monitor right now costs 500 euros !!! and its no stock !!!
You can buy several other monitors for that price... The actual price is $280...
You are so pretty! 😁
AOC make some ugly monitors. Don't know why they insist on having those red accents on all their products.
Exactly my thought, the cheap red accents are enough to make me look away from an otherwise good value and interesting monitor.
@@MM-zo7q it makes no sense. They are losing out on so many potential customers because of poor design choices on otherwise very good monitors.
How often are you looking at the backside of your monitor?
@@Devin7Eleven not often but I'm always looking at the front side with the red chin..
for me its ok..am puting it with the mount on the wall , it was les angly 🤣
It's actually really 💩
Basically, a $600 monitor for $280?
