I always liked this inspirational, though bit sad, song by Faiz Sahib. However, I could not completely understand the meanings (Urdu not being my primary language) though I understood the essence... Now, with this translation in English, I can fully understand and am able to grasp the poet's mind, encouraging and motivating the long- supressed and victimized peoples of the world to rise, unite and move forward to get justice..
