What a great looking robot! You did an excellent job of designing and making it. The paint and weathering look really good and I like the teal color, it is a nice change. Thanks for sharing this.
I love how 2 people (you and me at least) can look at that cup an think, "this looks like a robot head" and both see different head shapes from the same form. Cause the head I see got the eye on the round part of the cup, imagination goes wild
Your work reminds me of stone sculptors. I look at a rock and see a rock. They see a piece of art that just needs to be released from the rest of the rock. You do the same. You see things in things most of us don't.
Good colors. The head looks like it might be radar (covered sensor array). Looks like customs or mine detection. Ps for the leg joint you can melt a small metal nut into one side and put a screw and a washer on the other. then it's also posable. M3 machine screws are your friend.
It's a cool piece that looks like something out of Star Wars, and you won't believe that it was made using a case that was no longer needed. The delicate paint and damaged paint have a metallic feel and are wonderful. I'm always looking forward to your next creation full of imagination.😃
At first, when you painted it teal I was like "Yeah, I don't know about that", then I seen the final product and it worked so well. Great job, keep up the great videos.
I knew it would look a little weird at first but with the orange/yellow in my mind I thought it would work. I lucked out because it looked pretty good. I’ve definitely had color combinations that in my head looked amazing until I painted them and it was total garbage!😂 Thanks!
The Original Mecha Contest started hosting a "Cup Cup" challenge last year, and they are going to do it again this year (Feb through Oct) and this type of build would be perfect for that! There's a size limit of 6"x6"x6" but I think you could make a cool mech for the contest 😊
I honestly wasn't sure about this one at the start but it came out really cool! I knew the cup would be hard to hide but you pulled it off remarkably well👍
cool idea and love the colors, when i was like 10-11 i made a make shift ed-209 out of an icee top and some coke cans, this brings back so many good memories of making stuff out of junk. thanks!
I think this is a big spy bot. Really hard armor makes it hard to destroy. It can see things from really far away and it is unmanned. Maybe runs on a nucellar core. Primarily used for scouting. Ill call it a Far sight 34.
Currently planning to make something out of a Friendly's ice-cream cup. I have the lid of a deodorant tube that fits perfectly as a pelvis piece. It's the arms and legs that are gonna crush me.
😂just my left thumb. It’s been fatter ever since I was a little kid.🤷♂️😄 My left thumb is also double jointed so sometimes when I hold things it looks really weird.😂
Just have one niggle, why would there be rivets holding on that panel when the panel is raised off the surface? Surely that means the rivets aren't doing anything? Other than that, great build as ever :-)
My thought was the panel is attached with four metal tube posts and a rivet/bolt is running through that holding it on.🤔 At least that's what was going through my head when I made it... LOL Thanks.
Very Star Wars! Love it!!!
It reminds me of one of the newer droids from Star Wars. Cool design.
Thanks.
It's awesome how you look at every day things like a cup and create such a cool model!!!!! Very well done!
Thank you so much 😀

Thank you very much!
Love the recycling! Some great work and the methods give some good inspiration!! 👏
Thank you! Cheers!

That looks like a fun little robot project!
Thanks for sharing it.
You bet!
The Colour combination looks cool for this amazing build,Star Wars are always an inspiration and you too 🤩👌🏼
Thank you so much 😀
Also, thanks for always checking out my channel, I appreciate it!

@@DRToysCreations You would enjoy participating in the Iron Modeler at WonderFest.👍👍

Thank you so much! you're so kind!
Great build, I love the teal and orange.
Thanks.
I love how you used the spoon as well.
I even washed it after eating my delicious Frosty! 😂
Thanks so much.
Only you could come up with a Frosty and Frosty Spoon Robot Droid, that is so cool.
Thanks, it’s either a gift or a curse!😂😂😂
@@DRToysCreations It is a gift to see the beauty and awesomeness in what most would say to be nothing and/or trash.

A lot of your stuff looks like objects in the back of a Valerian comic. Like the iconic art of Jean-Claude Mézières. I like it.
Wow! Thank you so much.
Mézières work is amazing.
He make some of the best space vehicles!
I honestly wasn't sure about this one at the start but it came out really cool! I knew the cup would be hard to hide but you pulled it off remarkably well👍
Thanks man! 😃
Same here, thought that the cup would be too recognizable, but that
final result is awesome!!
Hello Dave! LOVE when you do your "jewels from junk" segments...and you went with a really difficult base to create from...just terrific!!!
Thanks so much!
ok that robot looks like something you'd see in a series like fallout, awesome work regardless
Awesome! Thanks
Great way to get some use out of junk. I love the final result.
Thank you!
The creative model building is awesome in it's own right, but the fact that these are made out of waste plastics really tickles my brain.
😃thanks
That’s really good. Thanks once again for sharing your gift with us.
Thanks for always taking the time to watch. I appreciate it!
A- UBR, Uni Ball Robot , really cool Dr Toys 👍
I love that! Thanks
Came out really nice! I like the paint job best!
Thank you! It's simple but it works. 😀
Looks great
Pretty cool junk bot. Well done sir.

I still need to try this

Really cool Dave.👍

I think I prefer this over the SW one!
Awesome! Thanks.
That's a really great model
Thanks
This is the way! Parts is Parts ;) Great project, my friend!
Indeed it is!
Excellent

Nice. Hope it turns out awesome!
I watch almost all of your builds which I enjoy. Just now I noticed that you have really big thumbs. It gives another dimension for me 😂😂

I appreciate that.
I don't wear gloves either. I know I probably should but...meh.
Nice build! Keep it up!
😂 I know I should but I hate the feel of them!😂

Looks more like a hair dryer Dave.
😅 I can see that!
It probably be much use for you though?
@@DRToysCreations
Kinda looks like D-0 from Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker.... 😂
Definitely inspired by that!
Very cool man …… colour scheme is awesome . How did u deal with the hollow head ?
With the lid on it was pretty solid. Its one of the reasons I kept the head pretty simple.
Thanks.
@@DRToysCreations nice ….. did u leave it hollow though ? ….. looks great either way
Where did you get that amazing T-shirt?
My sis got it for me, not sure where she got it.
