This is literally one of the bounty hunter Droids from Jedi fallen order/ survivor. This Droid also showed up in the force awakens at mazs castle. Absolutely perfect custom for a Droid I don't think you even knew about. But spot on work here man
I cannot tell you how much I love this. I have been making little robots for my kids for the last cupla years. I did not think of using magnets for the arms and legs. Thank you so much for this fantastic idea. Oh. and my kids are gonna thank you also.
Watching you create this toys is AMAZING. It awakens something inside me that just craves for some kitbashing and painting and all that jazz. I'm a huge Gunpla aficionado and I tend to just build them and just panel line them a lil bit and I'm done, except for a few "details" in silver with a metallic sharpie. But seeing what you make out of some parts and creativity... man... I need to try something like this one of these days. Keep up the awesome content!
Your videos suddenly pop-up on my recommendation and now you inspired me to try it. Im a gunpla collector so i think i have some spare parts to practice on. Thanks sir keep it up! Subbed
These are absolutely incredible! It makes me want to build more of my own figures! One thing I've picked up is when needing just a lil bit more detail you can always you a bit of Cable Ties or Zip Ties
Awesome day for a trash bash! Looks REALLY cool, and it chaps my hide that my kids plow through those Tic-Tacs like crazy, and I don't have ONE container...lol.
My wife loves the orange ones, luckily she saves them for me so I have quite a few around the house. Up till now I have only been using them to hold misc screws, nuts and whatnots. (D'oh, silly me.) Now I have to go find an empty one and make a robot! Thanks for the inspiration Doc!!
I wan't familiar with Smialy Mech from the Game Iron Harvest but I looked it up and I can totally see what you're saying! Cool little bot, thanks for sharing!
@@DRToysCreations No, thank you for share your work with us 😉 I was wondering on a robot like this one with yakult bottles as back turbines and maybe wings recicled from a cheap plane or made from cardboard. Cheers!
I think, with your skills, you can easily make robot legs yourself, without keep legs of another toy... the result can be better and totally artistic 😉
I just came across your page the other day and subscribed. I love your videos and how you build these awesome pieces from what everyone looks at as garbage. You show and prove that one man's trash is another man's treasure. Start selling these amazing creations and if you have kids, make your children toys. Keep up the great work man 👍🏻
Dave, Happy New Year! I do like the bigger arms too, looks great. Wathching these videos got me into Final Faction. I pick those up when I can. I get lots of ideas from you like the guitar string to use in builds and also the magnets for the arms, so cool. I think I am going to actually try this particular project and see how it goes. I just like that you can take the arms off and stuff, and open and close it for the battery. Thanks so much for the ideas Dave! I also am into making toys out of recylced things, very much so! Another reason why I like this channel!
Great result as always, Doc 😉👍 Maybe i would have connected the gun to another arm cut at elbow's height... 🤔 I was also wondering why you don't use something like lego free-movement ball-joints to give arms and legs a bit more pose range... 🤔
I totally see what you're saying, that could be cool! Because I'm cheap I normally use what I have on hand, at my work I hit up the electrical engineers for the recycled components and scavenge the magnets so I dont have to buy anything. But I'm guessing I could find the lego joints online for a reasonable price... I'll have to look into that. But long story short... I'm cheap! 😅
@@DRToysCreations I get the value in using what you have at hand, but with your talent you could really do awesome professional-grade-like builds (more than they already are, which is a lot 😉) just adding posability to the figures, imo. Geat work, as always 👍😉
Those Calibers are great the only thing unless your using Metric Dril Bits you'll need a Tap & Drill chart to determine some on those Smaller odd Fractional and No. Drill Bits
Well now you have your Tic Tac Robot team, This one can be Tic and since it is made out of a Tic Tac container and has the big gun it can be the protector counterpart to Tac the one shaped like a Tic Tac while it does its sharp shooting and covert operations. Very Cool. That is just my mind playing the story line game. LOL But once again you made and Awesome Robot.
😅 I totally get that. It may give you some comfort to know it was broken and missing the top lid/hatch. I will get a few good new creations out of him.😀
Hoi hoi! Another great build! It’s my favourite when you build the robots. My Mrs blames you for me buying products, just for their containers because they look like they’d make good robots😂She can no longer have her favourite shampoo because that’s not the right shape! 😂
Thanks! Surprisingly the paint stuck to to really well. I know exactly what you're talking about, I have an Iron man I painted like two years ago and the paint still feels tacky...

You should have left the transparent part intact, and created an inner body, with wires and mechanisms, like they do with some robots. Even the interior leds. Still, great assembly.
8:50 i worked at an auto parts store and a lady came in once looking for a gasket that she and her kids could use as bracelets. But the computer didn't let us look up the gaskets by their specs (like diameter or width of the plastic) so i couldn't help her. .__. so like don't always expect parts people to be able to look up gaskets based on specs for these things: just hoarde any like a squirrel.
Seeing this. All I could think was inside the container would be a person piloting it. But they would all be prisoners fighting for some future entertainment corporation thing. They'd be floating in a fluid only semi conscious or something.
@@DRToysCreations imma beat you too it. :) Transparent body with parts from MK44 ammo knight for my sci-fi/steam/WWI trench vignette. Thanks for the inspo
With the left arm and both legs being magnetic, you could probably make some interchangeable parts for it
More to come…😃

Looks great, love the fact that the Robot is asymmetric, like it could've lost an arm so they added that gun to it
Love it! I had the exact same tic tac container, but I turned mine into a spaceship model for 28mm tabletop games.
Oh nice!
Sooo cool! I was waiting for a shoulder on the gun arm, a joint maybe. But the end result is sooo good.
Thanks.
