Wendy and Taeyeon aren’t usually considered dancers in their groups, so it’s really nice to see them in a different group environment and doing lots of heavy choreo to show off their skills.
@@djisbdkskd I have always loved Wendy's robot dance. I've noticed her popping and locking in some choreography and some fans mistake it for her being out of sync with the rest of Red Velvet. The thing about her is she knows how to get right back in sync after briefly adding some flair to her dancing. She is always a bit extra asf and I love it 😁😁😁

BoA brings fluidity and consistency to the choreo. Her moves are clean af. And Hyoyeon's isolation and control over her body is unmatched. Her moves are so sharp and on point.
I'm so glad SM placed Karina at GOT. Her being complimented and being the center of attention beside several top kpop female performers, in that dance video is huge and a slap to haters. Karina has always been a great dancer and GOT's choreo just made it better.

I always love how she moves her arms. But AESPA choreography is so awkward sometimes it doesn't do her justice. Even her stage presence is better in these GOT performances. It was prob a great opportunity to have such talented girls around her mentoring her.
Wendy wasn't really part of the dance line but her being mentioned here for nailing some steps is really an ACE behavior, like she can do anything and everything, so proud of her 💙

@@Caspian_Xx Joy was better at dancing than her back them but she regressed a lot in 2019 and that's why now Wendy is the 3rd best, i think it's because her height, i mean there are a lot of idols who are the same height as her and taller and dance way better i know that but Joy seems uninterested in dancing unlike most idols which dancing is their main focus, Joy cares more about improving her vocal abilities just like she said, if she could have more fluidity i'm pretty sure she'd the 3rd best again but it's mostly because she doesn't really care about improving the stifness.

Hyoyeon is a power house! she is just so attractive when she's dancing, she's chill, she's strong, she's precise, she's got so much groove, the way she controls her body is unmatched! also you can see how she incorporates her hiphop (popping and locking) background in every detailed move! like her whole body is just popping and locking. she's so fluid like those waves omg!! ugh she's just so good!
i underestimated karina A LOT. i thought she wouldn't be able to keep up with boa, hyo, and seulgi but she exceeded my expectations here. i think her skills are not being showcased enough in aespa's choreos. she did the best imo here, i was only looking at her throughout the entire time. for winter, oh my goodness idk what to say she's my bias in aespa and i expected a lot from her. i really really hope she improves in the next comeback. i used to like her style of dancing.
I already knew Karina would slay with her seniors, but I was shocked by Winter. I expected her to do better and she ended up ranking last for me. What happened to her? I've been asking for weeks now. Something has happened. Reminds me of what happened with Yeri. She was soooo much better at debut and then something happened mentally with her after Jonghyun's passing and then she admitted that she needed IV drops before every comeback stage due to lack of energy. I hope Winter isn't so burned out already so early into her career.
the problem with aespa is they don't have a own true color rn unlike otherf fourth get groups like idle itzy or even groups like weeekly and stayc seems to be a genre themselves , only if sm didn't give them so many covers and remake and some actual original song

She used to be very confident during her debut era and then since next level to savage she’s gradually downgrading. Dream comes true is her era again and she shines the most again 😱 and now here with GOT. I’m her fan too anf expect much from her, especially with this opportunity. But I think she has the confidence problem by being very overshadowed by the others and feeling small. This is not Karina‘s case tho! She gains power and confidence through another‘s powers. I must say she exceeds my expectations here. Hyoyeon - Unmatched Upper Area Control - Most torso isolations and waves were done correctly - Fluid upper body results to having good hip, torso, arm coordination - Nice shoulder movements - Clean Weight distribution - Manages to do some of the Footworks - Clean transitions - Arguably the best in the group in terms of lines - Has an issue doing the 2nd rotation of footwork in the chorus - Power projection seems to be an issue - Musicality issues in the dance break - Lower Area movements seems to be tight and closed off than open and we'll extended - General Lower Area Control is weak 3. Karina - Good Lower Area projection - Power projection in general is good - Although she has issues, she shows good promise for footwork and torso waves - Nice leg angles and weight distribution - GOT the beat Karina > Æspa Karina - Issues with details - There's definitely an awkwardness with going low. i don’t usually watch dance practices because i’m more into the vocals of the song (Wendy’s my bias in GOT 😁) but KARINA’s dance style and energy was incredibly amazing. She didn’t even show fatigue throughout the whole dance and she made it look so easy.
Karina stole the show for me. She seriously impressed me so much. With winter… idk what’s going on with her. Her dance and facials have been getting worse each era that goes by. During black mamba era I would’ve considered her as the same dance level as Karina, but I think ningning has surpassed her.

Yes, Karina always surprised me. I feel like she gets stronger and better each and every comeback. But Winter... idk too. I always thought she has the same level as Karina because in her pre-debut days she danced a lot and she did well in black mamba but in step back, I can't say the same thing. My thought just went "Oh, she is still a rookie after all compared to Wendy and Taeyeon, who are also in charge of vocal in their group". Don't get me wrong. No hate towards Winter tho. It's just my opinion. But she is still a great rookie with so much potential.

Ladies and gentlemen, Karina is not bad dancer or a weak main dancer, it's really the choreography that is holding her back or makes her appear lacking. Black mamba and Step back are what showcased her ability. I hope she can improve day by day. As for Winter, Step back isn't really a dance where she can showcase her strengths but she is still clean but I must say it is not her best. The choreo was made for Karina. Aespa's choreo should be something like this so that karina would ate and ppl wouldn't look down at her dancing skills anymore
@@Dimyixx Giselle could easily follow Black mamba which was the hardest Aespa choreography so far. Giselle isn't bad as people make her out to be. She obviously lost confidence though time and that's her main problem.

I think it would be hard considering that they are a 4-member group and different dance styles. Giselle and Winter seem to have the same dance style, not that powerful but graceful. Ningning and Karina would definitely slay these types of moves because of their energy, power and stage presence.

That's kinda a stretch for Jessica. Jessica, in her debut, is kinda the third-best in SNSD, Hyoyeon is already in her own league while Yuri as well for a lead dancer.

Even if she was the third best dancer in the group (or even 4th, that's a very high rank in a nine-member group), I think that her dancing skills might have declined a little because we all know she's a vocal powerhouse and maybe the trainers in SM made her focus more on vocal training instead of dancing.

I think winter was just always like that even in blackmamba she's good but there is a reason why karina is the main dancer if anyone here are aespa stans since their debut they know how karina got so much hate and people who are solo stans are hyping winter saying that she should be the main dancer but this girl group project of sm proved that karina is still improving and a lot of people are just discrediting her because she is the most exposed member eversince and the fact that she is the leader, main dancer, lead rapper, sub vocalist, fotg, visual and center. For me, Karina is mostly consistent with her performance during her performance in aespa. Generally, she is a good performer in the group maybe 1st or second, I feel like she and Ningning are the best performer in the group. In Winter's case, step back isn't her forte. Maybe she is tired due to hectic schedules or very reserved during this performance.

Winter is a good dancer no doubt about that, she just has this laid back and almost lazy style of dancing, both of her and Karina are a hit and miss but Karina is better at improving and that out of the two of them Karina is the one who obviously looks like she is trying. 1:05 definitely this part! I noticed that everyone was just doing the normal footstep, but boa did this extra footwork. She made it look more beautiful! Probably the choreography didn't stress too much on this part, that's why the others didn't do it lol
For Winter, I think it depends a lot on the fact that she initially had a really girly image and then they decided to change it. She was slaying the long blonde hair and was probably more confident, imo.

Boa simply amazes me. I remember how she easily memorized dance steps in a show where she can only watch the video once before doing the steps! I am continually blown by her talent. Karina definitely improved a lot. She has the same power and big moves in her dancing, but her moves have better direction this time. They are a lot cleaner. She shined brightly in this performance. Great job! Seulgi's dancing = Consistent. She never underdances or overdances. One of my favorite main dancers. I'm happy that Wannie is getting recognized for her dancing. The robot move is very natural to her. She once did a mini robot moves before and I was like... damn! She is also good at freestyle.
you know what? Karina worked with YGX dancer this time and as she improved, I have the impression that Karina's coach is literally not giving her any directions. karina has no dance background and therefore she needs someone to help her develop. but I guess this person just doesn't do it for her and Karina doesn't know what to improve, what to do, when to highlight certain parts and now, when the choreography was very different from what aespa does and luckily she was working with someone else, she managed to improve in areas we haven't seen yet because she got good "guidance" lmao learned something new. like, she is such a smart dancer, if I can say so, she remembers the movements very quickly and surprisingly excute them fine, like you know, just because someone remembers the movements quickly does not mean that it is correct. but she can do it. she has moderate coordination, but she tries first and foremost. as you can see from her movements with her legs, she really tried and tried to do it. she has a lot of potential, but it is not properly developed. the way she is fierce and does not give up makes her such a powerful person, like this btch is strong.
I noticed the same thing as you with Seulgi. I think the problem is hyperextension and just the way her arms bend outward a little more than the usual (you can notice this bend in your own arm when you outstretch it forward with palm facing upward). These are all the happenings of genetics, just like how Ryujin's arms don't extend all the way (partly genetic partly an underextension problem).

I love watching karina during the chorus. She improved so much, really giving me proud mom feels. I feel like she tried really hard to improve in her dancing especially since people talks about her lack of skill compare to her sunbae main dancer and now she’s dancing next to them. Her efforts are 👌🏼. Winter too but I feel like winter naturally creates these nice clean lines so effortlessly when she dances
BoA footwork is really top notch, and if i can add one more plus for her is the finger gesture with a really nice facial expression at "he's sick and tired everyday"
Where are now people who claimed that Winter should be a main dancer instead? Karina and Winter were in similar level during Black mamba and Next level, but I can notice her improvements since Savage era and especially here. I know Winter's fancam is watched and she's talented and beautiful girl I just hope she'll improve both dancing and stage presence. Especially because she's part of dance line in Aespa, considering she had dancing moment during MAMA 2020.

This lineup has a lot of really good dancers! It makes for a really satisfying dance practice to watch, especially with all the intricate hand and feet movements :D Not to mention the vocal flex in the song already present! Everyone did amazing and it was really nice to see how people assess their individual moves like this
You know a performance/choreo was partly rushed when even with only three instances they dance to it, the rankings and "who did best" videos are widely different in each of them. All i will say is seulgi definitely ate up that ear move like she looked so shard and so elegant i couldn't take my eyes off her, taeyeon and hyoyeon definitely shined the best in the performance video, Wendy is so impressive for having multiple moves where she did the best when the group consists of three main dancers and Boa, Karina improves each comeback abd we love to see it.
I'm not a kpop stan from 1st gen but after watching boa's dance now i realize why people call her dance queen. She still shines even with every generation idols. Her moves are very sharp and smooth.
I'll say this a million times if it's necessary, people really sleep on Karina's legs. I've been watching her since their debut and honestly, I'm annoyed by the fact that nobody notice them
Boa and Hyoyeon are the best for me. New people to kpop only know 3rd and 4rd gen idols and completely forget (or are not interested in doing research) of the previous groups who ruled the industry. Boa literally is like the major senior of kpop, her moves are really controlled and she does not overdo any step, every choreo that she does looks so simple and i just know that this one was a piece of cake for her. As for Hyeoyeon, her charisma is on another level and my eyes kept following her. She knows when to give her all, and when to contain her energy just to emphasize with power the highlight moves. And it doesn’t surprise me. She has literally been dancing since she was a kid and has a lot of experience (before moving to korea, she was Janet Jackson’s backup dancer and made choreographies for Justin Timberlake yall) THAT’S HOW GOOD SHE IS 😭 felt like i needed to tell this as i don’t see many people complimenting the two MAIN female dancers of SM
my favorite part is the bridge and every time I watch it my eyes are locked into Hyoyeon because her fluidity and isolation are so satisfying to watch 😍

Idk what happened with winter, I hope she's doing good. I stan them since black mamba and i legit thought she was the main dancer of the group until their positions was said she was that good, winter always had the fluidity precision and energy each part and u couldn't take eyes of her, I followed her fancams and dance practice video for black mamba and her imagery was perfect back then. Now ningning slays hard with her stage presence and getting good with dance. Winter went back so much like idk what's going on with her.... hoping to see a more energetic and charismatic winter like black mamba era next cb 🙏
Stress I think. In Black Mamba era's SM pushed so much in the light that she started getting compared to everyone that ever existed. She might also not like the song at all and feel like not doing much, I wouldn't blame her, everyone hates the lyrics after all

At debut a lot of people argued that Winter was at the same level of Karina and some even saying she’s better but with more comebacks she puts less effort and Karina continuously improve which makes people think Karina is the obvious choice for Main Dancer now. My question is I know today people wouldn’t think a second of Irene being even at the same level of Seulgi but I feel like they also experienced the same progress like their juniors? In early days Irene was still quite energetic and I heard some people saying she’s doing stuff better than Seulgi at some parts then Rookie era Seulgi happened where people started to applaud her dancing more because it got better and Irene started to put less effort. My question is how do you think Irene fares with Seulgi on their early career/as rookies ?

I remember the times i always compare their dancing and cant accept that seulgi is the main lol but after rookie era, seulgi played very well while irene, altho she is very good in dancing, i think she holds back. The case is different between Aespa and Red Velvet. Aespa has choreo which doesn’t really showcase dance skills, It’s stiff. Karina has always been a better dancer than Winter. In different choreo Karina shines while with Winter It’s clear she’s lacking (not a bad thing, her strong point is singing, as long as she executes choreo ok It’s enough). On the other hand I think Seulgi and Irene were on a similar level but had different styles and strong points. Because Seulgi is a main dancer she naturally worked harder on her dancing and Irene didn’t as she really didn’t need to. Generally If an idol isn’t a main dancer there’s really no need to practise their dancing so much, they just focus on sth they're really good at. Winter has great vocals and Irene is so well known for her visuals she doesn’t really need to do a lot
Seeing how they pulled out all the stops for their very first GOT iteration makes me wonder, how will the next group of girls stack up compared to this group. Considering u have boa, hyoyeon, and seulgi, the sm dance machines of their respective generation. As well as Karina aespa main dancer. They also have vocal queens wendy and taeyeon, however vocals are something sm has never really had to worry about
I heard somewhere that this is the dance lineuo of got(probably why it’s called got the beat)I think the next will be vocals but if they do that it’ll be interesting because a lot of the vocalists are in got the beat. Their vocalist choices outside of got the beat would probably be Joy, Sunny, Ningning. If SM were as nice as I wish then maybe Tiffany and Seohyun would also be there. But if I include the got the beat vocalists here’s what I think the lineup would look like this: Taeyeon, Sunny, Joy, Wendy, Winter, Ningning.

I hope Karina would this to aespa and hope that this is not just her best day loll. Aside from BoA, I feel she did good in the footwork here in 1:05 in the first part but yeah it gets iffy in the second time. Her dancing reminds me of an unpolished version of Yeji tho. I feel Taeyeon might be arguably better than Winter here, I kinda remember her skipping the torso movements here around 1:37 but yeahTaeyeon as well didn't give any conscious effort to her angles and also her movements are quite underextended (bring back the BM Winter plsss).

Tbh, i feel like song really emphasize their dancing skills. I personally think that they all slayed the dance and vocals. I love how each of them have different style of dancing and each of them having unique vocals.
For someone who has long limbs, I could say Karina has a good moves, it's not overpowered or the opposite, it's that good... A student of mine struggling with her power because she has long limbs, it's difficult to adjust so that you won't look weird.
You can really see the difference between ppl who are currently in a group and those who aren't. As expected, Karina, Wendy and Seulgi have great chemistry. Boa is doing her own thing and Hyoyeon doesn't really "fit in" imo. Taeyeon is doing good, except for the fact that the others have better stage presence and therefore she only shines as a vocalist. Winter is just...there. I also feel like we can clearly see that the age gap and the fact that there are huge artists paried with girls that are almost rookies makes their chemistry almost non-existent
In terms of chemistry superM is better despite the age gaps. Idk but I feel like GOT is rushed and forced? I expected alot since the chosen members are highly talented and it will be a bomb if theyre grouped together, but meh. It doesnt seem to work.
I do agree with you at some point. SuperM is also have a great chemistry with their dance but with Taemin, Kai, Ten, and Taeyong when they perform 'No Manners' shows completely different performance with their amazing chemistry compared when they perform as seven

I respect your opinion but i do disagree with the 2nd part.. Karina has a bit more to go in order to become one of the best 4th gen dancers.. She is a great dancer tho and is improving herself with each era plus a little bit of more consistency needed - she performed here better than the actual one

However Being one of best main dancers depends on the moves and techniques such as having precision, sharpness, smoothness, fluidity, not being stiff, accurate beat knowledge to grab all/max beats and many other things, most importantly consistency- that is very very rarely over dancing or under dancing.. I have always loved Wendy's robot dance. I've noticed her popping and locking in some choreography and some fans mistake it for her being out of sync with the rest of Red Velvet. The thing about her is she knows how to get right back in sync after briefly adding some flair to her dancing. She is always a bit extra asf and I love it 😁😁😁

And Hyoyeon's isolation and control over her body is unmatched. Her moves are so sharp and on point.

i underestimated karina A LOT. i thought she wouldn't be able to keep up with boa, hyo, and seulgi but she exceeded my expectations here. i think her skills are not being showcased enough in aespa's choreos. she did the best imo here, i was only looking at her throughout the entire time. for winter, oh my goodness idk what to say she's my bias in aespa and i expected a lot from her. i really really hope she improves in the next comeback. i used to like her style of dancing.

Reminds me of what happened with Yeri. She was soooo much better at debut and then something happened mentally with her after Jonghyun's passing and then she admitted that she needed IV drops before every comeback stage due to lack of energy.

But I think she has the confidence problem by being very overshadowed by the others and feeling small. This is not Karina‘s case tho! She gains power and confidence through another‘s powers. - There's definitely an awkwardness with going low. Despite showing good weight distribution, she seems to be comfortable staying in an upright position than most

- Has done some well made arm angles
- Nice groove and power management
- Some improvement with footwork due to natural groove
- Neat attention to arm details
- Interesting and well thought out dynamics

- Weight distribution seems to be an issue
- I'm thinking that her weight distribution issue is caused by her stiff hips
- Torso movement is bad in general (waves and isolations were skipped or done badly)

Yes, Karina always surprised me. I feel like she gets stronger and better each and every comeback. But Winter... idk too. I always thought she has the same level as Karina because in her pre-debut days she danced a lot and she did well in black mamba but in step back, I can't say the same thing. My thought just went "Oh, she is still a rookie after all compared to Wendy and Taeyeon, who are also in charge of vocal in their group". Don't get me wrong. No hate towards Winter tho. Ladies and gentlemen, Karina is not bad dancer or a weak main dancer, it's really the choreography that is holding her back or makes her appear lacking. Black mamba and Step back are what showcased her ability. I hope she can improve day by day. As for Winter, Step back isn't really a dance where she can showcase her strengths but she is still clean but I must say it is not her best.

I think it would be hard considering that they are a 4-member group and different dance styles. Giselle and Winter seem to have the same dance style, not that powerful but graceful. Ningning and Karina would definitely slay these types of moves because of their energy, power and stage presence.

For me, Karina is mostly consistent with her performance during her performance in aespa. Generally, she is a good performer in the group maybe 1st or second, I feel like she and Ningning are the best performer in the group. In Winter's case, step back isn't her forte. Maybe she is tired due to hectic schedules or very reserved during this performance.

Boa simply amazes me. I remember how she easily memorized dance steps in a show where she can only watch the video once before doing the steps! I am continually blown by her talent.
Karina definitely improved a lot. She has the same power and big moves in her dancing, but her moves have better direction this time. They are a lot cleaner. She shined brightly in this performance. Great job!

Karina worked with YGX dancer this time and as she improved, I have the impression that Karina's coach is literally not giving her any directions. karina has no dance background and therefore she needs someone to help her develop. but I guess this person just doesn't do it for her and Karina doesn't know what to improve, what to do, when to highlight certain parts and now, when the choreography was very different from what aespa does and luckily she was working with someone else, she managed to improve in areas we haven't seen yet because she got good "guidance" lmao learned something new. like, she is such a smart dancer, if I can say so, she remembers the movements very quickly and surprisingly excute them fine, like you know, just because someone remembers the movements quickly does not mean that it is correct. but she can do it. she has moderate coordination, but she tries first and foremost. as you can see from her movements with her legs, she really tried and tried to do it. she has a lot of potential, but it is not properly developed. the way she is fierce and does not give up makes her such a powerful person, like this btch is strong.
yeah i also think the same that aespa"s "performance director" is not doing his job + his choreo are not karina's forte .
I noticed the same thing as you with Seulgi. I think the problem is hyperextension and just the way her arms bend outward a little more than the usual (you can notice this bend in your own arm when you outstretch it forward with palm facing upward). These are all the happenings of genetics, just like how Ryujin's arms don't extend all the way (partly genetic partly an underextension problem).

I love watching karina during the chorus. She improved so much, really giving me proud mom feels. I feel like she tried really hard to improve in her dancing especially since people talks about her lack of skill compare to her sunbae main dancer and now she’s dancing next to them. Her efforts are 👌🏼. Winter too but I feel like winter naturally creates these nice clean lines so effortlessly when she dances
BoA footwork is really top notch, and if i can add one more plus for her is the finger gesture with a really nice facial expression at "he's sick and tired everyday"
Where are now people who claimed that Winter should be a main dancer instead? Karina and Winter were in similar level during Black mamba and Next level, but I can notice her improvements since Savage era and especially here. I know Winter's fancam is watched and she's talented and beautiful girl I just hope she'll improve both dancing and stage presence. Especially because she's part of dance line in Aespa, considering she had dancing moment during MAMA 2020.

This lineup has a lot of really good dancers! It makes for a really satisfying dance practice to watch, especially with all the intricate hand and feet movements :D Not to mention the vocal flex in the song already present! Everyone did amazing and it was really nice to see how people assess their individual moves like this

You know a performance/choreo was partly rushed when even with only three instances they dance to it, the rankings and "who did best" videos are widely different in each of them.
All i will say is seulgi definitely ate up that ear move like she looked so shard and so elegant i couldn't take my eyes off her, taeyeon and hyoyeon definitely shined the best in the performance video, Wendy is so impressive for having multiple moves where she did the best when the group consists of three main dancers and Boa, Karina improves each comeback abd we love to see it.
I'm not a kpop stan from 1st gen but after watching boa's dance now i realize why people call her dance queen. She still shines even with every generation idols. Her moves are very sharp and smooth.
I'll say this a million times if it's necessary, people really sleep on Karina's legs. I've been watching her since their debut and honestly, I'm annoyed by the fact that nobody notice them

Boa and Hyoyeon are the best for me. New people to kpop only know 3rd and 4rd gen idols and completely forget (or are not interested in doing research) of the previous groups who ruled the industry. Boa literally is like the major senior of kpop, her moves are really controlled and she does not overdo any step, every choreo that she does looks so simple and i just know that this one was a piece of cake for her. As for Hyeoyeon, her charisma is on another level and my eyes kept following her. She knows when to give her all, and when to contain her energy just to emphasize with power the highlight moves. And it doesn’t surprise me. She has literally been dancing since she was a kid and has a lot of experience (before moving to korea, she was Janet Jackson’s backup dancer and made choreographies for Justin Timberlake yall) THAT’S HOW GOOD SHE IS 😭 felt like i needed to tell this as i don’t see many people complimenting the two MAIN female dancers of SM
my favorite part is the bridge and every time I watch it my eyes are locked into Hyoyeon because her fluidity and isolation are so satisfying to watch 😍
I feel like Irene and seulgi’s song naughty really contributed to Seulgi’s clean hand and arm movements because omg that choreo is super complicated when it comes to hand and arm placement
Since nobody is going to talk about Seulgi, let me say that she is an amazing dancer and the fact that she has the most screentime with BoA and Hyoyeon.
BoA is the best dancer here and it’s not even close, she has years of experience over everybody there. She’s barely even trying.

Idk what happened with winter, I hope she's doing good. I stan them since black mamba and i legit thought she was the main dancer of the group until their positions was said she was that good, winter always had the fluidity precision and energy each part and u couldn't take eyes of her, I followed her fancams and dance practice video for black mamba and her imagery was perfect back then. Now ningning slays hard with her stage presence and getting good with dance. Winter went back so much like idk what's going on with her.... hoping to see a more energetic and charismatic winter like black mamba era next cb 🙏
Stress I think. In Black Mamba era's SM pushed so much in the light that she started getting compared to everyone that ever existed.

The case is different between Aespa and Red Velvet. Aespa has choreo which doesn’t really showcase dance skills, It’s stiff. Karina has always been a better dancer than Winter. In different choreo Karina shines while with Winter It’s clear she’s lacking (not a bad thing, her strong point is singing, as long as she executes choreo ok It’s enough). On the other hand I think Seulgi and Irene were on a similar level but had different styles and strong points. Because Seulgi is a main dancer she naturally worked harder on her dancing and Irene didn’t as she really didn’t need to. Generally If an idol isn’t a main dancer there’s really no need to practise their dancing so much, they just focus on sth they're really good at. Winter has great vocals and Irene is so well known for her visuals she doesn’t really need to do a lot
basically boa, karina and seulgi fighting their lives for the main dancer position (spoiler: both 3 of them gets it at the end)

Seeing how they pulled out all the stops for their very first GOT iteration makes me wonder, how will the next group of girls stack up compared to this group. Considering u have boa, hyoyeon, and seulgi, the sm dance machines of their respective generation. As well as Karina aespa main dancer. They also have vocal queens wendy and taeyeon, however vocals are something sm has never really had to worry about
I heard somewhere that this is the dance lineuo of got(probably why it’s called got the beat)I think the next will be vocals but if they do that it’ll be interesting because a lot of the vocalists are in got the beat. Their vocalist choices outside of got the beat would probably be Joy, Sunny, Ningning. If SM were as nice as I wish then maybe Tiffany and Seohyun would also be there. But if I include the got the beat vocalists here’s what I think the lineup would look like this: Taeyeon, Sunny, Joy, Wendy, Winter, Ningning.

I hope Karina would this to aespa and hope that this is not just her best day loll. Aside from BoA, I feel she did good in the footwork here in 1:05 in the first part but yeah it gets iffy in the second time. Her dancing reminds me of an unpolished version of Yeji tho. I feel Taeyeon might be arguably better than Winter here, I kinda remember her skipping the torso movements here around 1:37 but yeahTaeyeon as well didn't give any conscious effort to her angles and also her movements are quite underextended (bring back the BM Winter plsss).

For someone who has long limbs, I could say Karina has a good moves, it's not overpowered or the opposite, it's that good...
A student of mine struggling with her power because she has long limbs, it's difficult to adjust so that you won't look weird.
You can really see the difference between ppl who are currently in a group and those who aren't. As expected, Karina, Wendy and Seulgi have great chemistry. Boa is doing her own thing and Hyoyeon doesn't really "fit in" imo. Taeyeon is doing good, except for the fact that the others have better stage presence and therefore she only shines as a vocalist. Winter is just...there.
I also feel like we can clearly see that the age gap and the fact that there are huge artists paried with girls that are almost rookies makes their chemistry almost non-existent

An idol stands out than others because of stage presence, charisma and also better visuals or uniqueness in looks, which is actually what a 'centre' is and yes Karina is a great centre. However Being one of best main dancers depends on the moves and techniques such as having precision, sharpness, smoothness, fluidity, not being stiff, accurate beat knowledge to grab all/max beats and many other things, most importantly consistency- that is very very rarely over dancing or under dancing.. If the topic was about being 'centre', then yes Karina is indeed one of the best centres of 4th gen gg.. But here the topic was about 'best main dancers of 4th gen', and Karina has to work more on tht... Even Wendy who is not a main dancer stands out here like Karina
