What fascinates me about oly lifting is the added brain breaker of having to peak for power, i dont demerit powerlifting, quite the opposite but you know you need to turn your base strenght into peak strenght, so naturally you just lift closer to your 1RM. I have no fn idea how peaking works for power sports and im fascinated to have these insights a availabe thank you!

Also yeah, no you absolutely need to build base strenght but peaking for it sounds absolutely useless in this context, as you elegantly put it
