  • This is a Hypnotherapy Session to help the listener experience a quiet mind and a sense of peace within. You will achieve a relaxed body and a focused state, once in this focused state your subconscious mind is guided into "Letting Go". The purpose of this exercise is to aid in your mind's ability to "Let Go" of the thoughts that are not serving you. With practice and repetition, you can train your mind to automatically let go of the thoughts that upset you or cause you to feel anxious or unbalanced. This meditation will help you obtain this ability. It is recommended that you listen to this meditation once a day for several weeks. Depending on how your mind is when you begin the process, determines how long or how much you need to practice, the process is different for everyone. It is also recommended that you listen to this when you are having a difficult time letting go of something, to help your mind to create a different path of response. In order to get the best results you must participate, do not just put this on and go to sleep, as you choose to stay with my voice and my suggestions, you are gaining greater control of your mind.

So I'm not the only one? Haha it's good to know. I developed anxiety and started showing signs of depression after breaking up with with my ex in a distant country far from home. It was living hell, but now is better and I'm going back to my hometown. The body makes you think you need a person to be happy but you don't we are born as individuals and we die as individuals.

There are 3 things that we can all change about ourselves; attitude, behaviour and feelings. The only thing that holds us back is our own Fear, nothing else. Strength, determination and stamina will help a great deal.
I am suffering from Anxiety. My own frustration has woken up my determination to cross the first main road by myself. Anxiety level at 100% to start with. Gone down to 80% now in a few weeks. Practice and support from an training expert will help get this down even lower with patience. I can't wait to cross any main road by myself and get my life back to normal. If I can do it, anyone can do it.
Take control and get your life back. Good Luck to anyone in a similar position as myself.

+Yingdi Han I am so happy to have shared this with you and to hear you were able to find peace. You are stronger than anxiety, I know that can seem hard to believe, but I promise you are. You truly are the one in control, something is just off track, it happens to a lot of us. Practice finding peace through meditation as regularly as you can, and just like a muscle gets stronger with use, your ability to let go of the anxiety and feel peace will become stronger. I wish you the best. And thank you for writing, it inspires me to do more of what I love. Suzanne

The only whey to overcome fear is to face it, if you think about something like, 'what will happen if i go to the forest no no i cant do that its scary" then go to the forest want the fear to come out yell fear come out i'm scared smile at the fear . You will see in the end the fear will never appear because you are not afraid from it. Solution is smile get kuky do stupid things like jumping by hilarious and Face the stupid fear. Lets have fun of life, yes sometimes you face fear or awkward moments it happens but after every bad moment there is a good one and this is what we have to think of. I know what you're filing because i'm struggling with panic attacks and anxiety for over 8 years, you know what i will never surrender will fight it till it go away and i know it will i'm almost there. Hope this helps you out with fear it helped me.

I was very skeptical at first that your videos could help me, because I have been through so much counseling over the years. I came from an extremely violent family. My father hated me because I was born a girl and told me that often. Because of the abuse I suffered for many years even into adulthood I developed ptsd to the point I would almost pass out in a store when I heard a child cry. I am so amazed at how good you are at what you do. The other day I went into a store heard a child cry and my heart raced just a little. My mind was calm. I am forever devoted to you. I can't even tell you how much this means to me. I love your letting go video. I listen to it every night. Thank you so very much for your video and I can't wait to try the other ones. Thank you!

It is a very difficult journey to self love when we are taught at an early age that we are not lovable. But, you have made it this far... so that means that you are very strong... so just keep going with it. Super Big HUGS :)

This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my RUclips channel 8 months ago about self development. Now I have 857 subs and > 500 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.

Whoever you are, I don't know you personally but I can say that you're one of the non-judgmental and open-minded people who is not fixated on tangible or external factors in order to learn from someone like me. Just because someone doesn't have a piece of paper as a credential, doesn't mean that person is not entitled to share personal experiences with the hope & intention to inspire others. Keep up with whatever it is that you're doing to improve mankind or improving your life even to a slight degree each day. This is just one part of a bigger puzzle for creating my RUclips channel about holistic health. I literally could have died back when I was 14 years old due to major depression but here I am right now replying to you, a RUclipsr, who's full of fulfillment and dedication to help others to be a better version of themselves. I ain't better than anyone else but my old self. That's all that really makes this RUclips thing more meaningful and enjoyable. Thanks so much for your support! I am hoping that you can join me with this endless personal development journey! :)

@@nathananderson8720 Thank you so much for writing and sharing Nathan. I am so happy to hear you made it through your depression, life can feel really hard at times, and we all experience it at one time or another. We need people to help each other and to share our journeys because when we are struggling we believe it's just us and we are alone. It's great you have started a channel to help others, you will find so much fulfillment in it. Focus on the people you are helping and stay true to you :) I am so happy you are here :) Have a wonderful day!

@SuzanneRobichaudHypnotherapist Thank you! Recognizing the impermanence of life also gave me the courage to start my RUclips channel. Recently, I uploaded my longest video not too long ago, which is about an hr long and it doubled the number of my subs and watch time hours and most of all, I've been impacting more lives positively and this is the best part of it all. I created this to share my opinion about these main things that truly impacted the way I live and how I became a minimalist.
It's the one most vulnerable videos that I had been hesitant to post for many months because of the fear of being misunderstood but I finally decided to overcome that fear so others can learn from my experience so we can all grow together. Remembering my why's is much more important than the analytic growth. Sometimes I get trapped in focusing on any external rewards from this channel to the point that it paralyzes me from taking actions and I think this is what makes most people not even start at all.
I wish you all the best! Keep on growing your channel and your tribe! I'm also here to support you!

Soo I listened to this as I've been experiencing some difficulty being positive and assuming the worst in a situation and wanted to try and be present and stop worrying about negative outcomes.
I fell asleep fast into this but I had a vivid dream with a lot of factors that I've looked into and made sense out of. So it definitely helped me to release the negative thought patterns and deal on a subconscious level. Will definitely be using this one again. Thank you!!

I love the "branch" analogy and learning to "let go".

I loved this. I have been in a dark place for a while, unable to let go of the negative thoughts surrounding events in my recent life and unable to go forwards. This video was the start of the release. Although I found it hard to imagine a white room, the rest was easy. I followed the instructions in the video twice on two consecutive days.
Then I walked the dog and held onto branches along the way. (I'm glad no-one was watching!) Every time I did this, I noticed that I could no longer go forwards, and focused on the negative thoughts. Then I said, I let these thoughts go, and I let the branch go at the same time. It's a good reinforcement technique! thanks for putting this video on here, it's been an enormous help to me.

Hi Jake, thanks for listening :) For some reason I cannot respond to your comment, I am new at this You Tube thing, so please bare with me :)
The suggestive part is around flowing down stream and letting go of the branch, the metaphor for letting go of the thoughts that are not working for you. If you drifted during that part and came back for the end, you most likely drifted into a deep state of trance which is fine, it is believed that the subconscious mind still listens. I encourage you to try to stay with it all the way through, to allow your body to enter a deep state of sleep, so that you are able to experience sensations, such as floating and drifting, or your body getting very heavy. But, having a part of your mind stay with me, so that you are in your mind flowing down stream and then feeling yourself letting go of the the branch....and then returning to the feeling of flowing. As you do this, you are strengthening your ability to be more in charge of what your thinking about and the ability to let go of the things you don't want to be thinking about. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me at info@northvancouverhypnotherapy.com. Have a great day :)

I do agree with that on all levels because I myself has learned and is still learning that only one l can control is me..And the better control l have over myself. .the better things around me tend to be..I have this particular meditation in my anti - aniexty meditation playlist. .l want to listen to this particular letting go meditation because it is soo needed in working past some aniexties l may have sometimes. .Guzmo Gray l am glad to know this meditation is working for you. .You seem like the caring type. .Which is a real great quality to have ..Sometimes in our caring we try to control everything only because we want every thing around us to work which is good. .but l myself have learned that best way for things around us to work is to have total control of ourselves. .Mentally. .Emotionally. .and Spirituality. .And l think this particular letting go meditation has reminded you of this same concept..Now l know you asked about the white room Susan takes us into and Susan will definitely answer you back on that question..However I think the white room represents that space where we can look at ourselves more clearly..ln the white room we are dealing with just our own energy. .free to see ourselves according to us and not according to other people's realty. .Free to clear ly take control of ourselves. .Free to clearly love ourselves. .And the more control you have over yourself and the more love you are able to show yourself. .The easier you will be loved by others 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹Once again l am very happy that this meditation is working for you and l wish you all the best in all of the best things that related to you for you are worth it all💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

In the last 3 yrs I've had NDE, medical induced coma, relearning things, 10 surgeries in those 3 yrs...2020 unexpected pregnancy as the world was on locked. Once you mentioned about letting the relaxing and tingly sensations take over our body, I fell into a deep sleep and I awoke 3 minutes before the video ended feeling very relaxed and optimistic. As I was listening to your beautiful guided relaxation, I felt filled with a feeling I haven't felt in awhile - love. Recently, I was thinking about how often we shy away from using the word "love," because it either is tied to romance, or sexuality, but also seems to bring up fear for many people. I had not ever felt, or believed I couldn't , or shouldn't, feel love for people, as a whole. Recently, I realized that I do feel love for people that I don't know, after seeing them do something wonderful, or hearing someone speak, or just a general feeling I've not felt before but I'd say - I'm going out on a limb here, opening myself up to a lot of criticism & disagreement, but I'm going to push through my own fear- I'd say a more maybe Global feeling of love. So while I know many people cringe at the words, I love you, I'm feeling myself wanting to say it more & more. So during your guided relaxation, Imagining the energy reaching out to the walls, the ground, & then above me (which was when I began feeling immense feelings of love, it was amazing), at this moment, I could hear in my head, I love her, thank her for sharing this, this is beautiful, tell her about this moment. So, I've rarely spent much time commenting on too many sites, videos, the rest, & especially not out here allowing myself to be so vulnerable to possible hurtful comments, I'm here anyway. I have much love for you for putting this video out in to the world, expanding energy, generously giving this video to any of us out here, I find myself lucky to have found it. So thank you, & I am sending loving thoughts, energy, respect back to you. I know & i think understand why love can be scary - maybe, hopefully, it is powerful, so powerful enough to remove other things, erasing pain, dark void some of us may feel (loneliness, depression, feeling separate from others), may be filled with the most powerful, maybe overwhelming, & intense feelings of love. I'm grateful to have found this today, as I've been going through the darkness I just wrote about, isolation, lonely to an extreme, even though I am not alone. Hearing your voice felt like an instant connection. I've listened to so many wonderful meditations that others have shared, & have loved so much the generosity within each person to share these with people who may need help. I have great admiration for every one who offers any help. I just wanted to share that yours, to me, was unique, & I felt a shift or something like that while listening to the meditation, & your voice seemed to connect with something, an inner me, & in that way, helped me regain some hope during a bleak time in my life, I've worried I wou!dnt make it through. So I thank you, & send a great big present of love back to you, energy stretching beyond the wall :) THANK YOU!!!!

Oh Lemmy , thank you so much for opening up and sharing with me. I honestly appreciate it and I do feel the love you are sending back, I feel it while I read your comment. Love is a beautiful feeling that is available to each of us at any moment we choose. For some of us, including myself, we just have to do a little work to clear out any limiting or false beliefs about love so that we can let our walls down and be open to feel it. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with me. It really does mean so much to me. This is the fuel that keeps me going and inspires me to do more. Thanks so much. Hugs

Thank you. I love it when I find a meditation that actually works. I felt grounded by this meditation. Usually only grounding music makes me feel like that. Guided meditations for grounding are hard for me to visualize because I can't picture myself being tethered to the earth by a rope nor do I understand why I would want to. Flowing down a river is a much better metaphor for life's journey and the parts at the beginning made me feel balanced and focused on life. Whenever I feel bad thoughts coming on I'm just going to say, "Let go of branch and continue to flow."

+Dennis Clausen thank you for sharing your experience with me, I appreciate it so much :) I definitely recommend listening everyday, as you have the ability to retrain your mind, and this includes your reactions and responses. Your thoughts create your feelings, so start telling yourself AMAZING things. When ever your anxiety is triggered pay attention to what the trigger is and see if you can find away to let that go. (Hypnosis is perfect for this) Triggers are usually unresolved pain within, created by past experiences. You can also start to replace the negative thoughts with positive one.... so if you had social anxiety, right away start telling yourself " I love social engagements, or I handle these well"... take your negative and change it to a positive. You have the biggest influence on your mind, and your subconscious learns through repetition, so even if it feels like you are lying at first just keep doing it. I hope this helps a bit :)

Thank you, Suzanne. Your meditation helped me enormously. And at the most unexpected time. Some unpleasant things happened to me in childhood and they remain with me to this day. When I held onto the branch, I was back there again. But then I let go of the branch, emerged from the deep shade of the overhanging tree and floated peacefully out into the warm sunshine, leaving my bad memories behind. Thank you.

This was definitely a first for me, I think that "personifying" the thing that you're holding onto, in this case a branch, helped tremendously. I was reading something on reddit the other day that said sometimes just the thought of trying to let go and the fact that you can't can stress you out, so if we put it into physical form it becomes much easier. Thanks for the video ;)
