Greetings Pattern Scout, You are doing an amazing job! I love your attention to detail and your precise instructions. Please don't stop doing what you are doing in your videos. They are very encouraging. I was delighted when you invited feedback and ideas. You do such an amazing job that the offer to suggest was an opportunity I could not miss. Thank you for requesting feedback and suggestions: *If there is any such thing as fundamentals to sewing any garment ( tip and tricks) that you could explain that would be great. You have been one of the best teachers I have observed after watching numerous videos. *An explanation of garment construction, or how the different parts of the pattern work together, the order of construction..sleeves, types of bodices (front & back) or anything that addresses understanding basic pattern making that would be great. Which pieces fit in the puzzle and why... *Anything addressing waist bands, adding notions, appropriate measurements, lessons learned.... ** If not, I still love your work . Im new to sewing and trying to master the fundamentals . Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing your passion! God Bless.
Thank you so much! I always appreciate good feedback. I will definitely keep these suggestions in mind for future videos. Thanks for taking the time! :)
Muchas gracias x la técnica tan clara q brindas en los videos. Soy de Argentina y entiendo poco tu idioma pero comparto toda tu estética , prolijidad y sencillez🥰
Thanks for sharing! I always have problems buying jackets because I'm much taller and bigger in size to fit any of those sold at the stores. I might make one myself
You definitely should! I always have issues finding jackets with sleeves long enough--one of the reasons i love making outerwear. Thanks for watching! :)
Super excited to try making my own version. I want to make more of a field jacket with a zipper and a set of buttons, just not sure I have figured it out how to accomplish that!
You made it look so easy to get the sherpa into the serger. How did you do that? I've been trying but it doesn't want to move once I start to sew. Help Love the jacket too.
Great video by the way. I try to sew same color but shorter one. I want to ask you sth. When I sew it, upper side of fabric always got longer. Even if I am sure that I cut both sides equal. Do you have an idea about why is this happen? Thank you so much 😊
This is cute! How many yards did you use for this coat? I have 3yds of cheetah sherpa from Joann that would look very nice in this design😊 (I'm buying your pattern😀)
I've linked the pattern I used for this project in the description (The Cozi Jacket). I don't have a pattern for the longer version, I just added length to the bottom of the Cozi Jacket. :)
Super cute jacket! I just bought some of the same sherpa from Joann for my second cozi. I was wondering how you like the feel against your skin. Is it linty? I keep looking at mine wondering if I should line or interline the fabric. Really love your longer version!!
Yay! Thank you! The fabric is actually very comfy against my skin. I have a white Cozi made out of the same fabric that I've been wearing for over a year...it's very dirty looking now (ahem, well-loved haha), but the sherpa texture just gets more firm with wear. It's not as soft but definitely still very comfy, and does not shed. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching! :)
@@22kimitalewis86 Thank you! The pattern is the first link in the description below the video (I try to link everything I talk about in the videos in the description)
I love how you conceal everything. I am learning a lot just watching you!. Thanks!
Thank you so much, so happy it is helpful!
Such a clear tutorial, I feel I could sew this no problem. Thank you!
Thanks for watching! You could totally do it!
I love this jacket!!! You make it look easy to sew, especially the zipper.
The drawstring and pocket were great add ons -- looks so much better with both of them.
Thank you! :)

@@PatternScout I think it is also called suit pants, but with front pleat.
Gotcha! Ok thanks!

Great looking jacket. Have you ever added patchwork quilting to this jacket?
So well finished, I love it. ❤
Thanks for a very helpful video. I’m ready to make one. Love the sherpa and love it came from Joanns
Thanks for watching! JoAnn has this fabric is several great colors, too. I really want to make a half-zip version in the pink or green sherpa!
Really cute great job

Great jacket 👍😎
Thank you! :)
Hi, just checking in to see if you have responded yet since you said you are always checking the comments.
5:14 😂😂😂 love it!
woa super ! merci beaucoup !
Beautiful, found you searching for teddy fleece. How did you manage with out getting fluff everywhere please?
Thanks, Pam
Thanks! It is a little messy, to be honest! I would keep the vacuum handy to clean up the fuzzies :)
On one side of the jacket the pull cord is higher when jacket is zipped.
With the extra length on the bottom how much fabric did you use in the teddy material?
Brilliant, thanks 👌🏾
Love it. Thanks so much for sharing!
Thanks for watching! :)
I cannot find the pattern to this beautiful coat. Where do I find it?
I tried to find the pattern but I didn’t find it 😢
Love it!!
Thank you! :)
Where can I get tge pattern for the cozy coat. It is exactly what I am looking for.
I've linked it in the description :)
Super !❤👍
Thanks!

Cool, Cool, Cool. Did you use a walking foot or regular foot?
Just a regular foot (and a zipper foot for the zip) :)
Do you have digital patterns for this??
