I wondered all my life while even though I was on birth control there were times when I wasn't but didn't get pregnant. I have a bicornuate uterus. Mine was missed also. I had two losses before I had my daughter. My pregnancy was healthy. I heard that the more children a woman has the more space she has in utero. There weren't many videos 7 years ago when I had my girl. So I made a few to help my BU moms out there.
i was diagnosed with my second pregnancy! i’ve had two miscarriages and my first was with my twins ❤️ i’m pregnant now and stressed a little but this made me feel lots better.
Hi, I'm 23 and just found out I have a heart shaped uterus (more like the arcuate one). I have a very irregular period (about every 2 months) and also painful on the first two days. The first day is mostly me laying down as the cramps are too strong. Intercourse is painful most of the time and I can only do one position because of that, would love to hear experiences from others. During the check-up, I told the gynecologist that intercourse is mostly painful and only possible in the same position, she was understanding (the check up itself was very painful). When she examined my vagina more closely, she noticed that it is kind of more elongated and narrower in shape which may be the reason for this. This really made me sad because it means I will probably never be able to try other positions without pain. Thank you for this video!
I have bicornuate uterus also. I felt scared because the doctor said it was very rare to have that condition. I just recently find out when I experienced transvaginal because i am 1 month pregnant, and now i am 10weeks pregnant. I hope that i deliver my baby normally.
I have a heart shaped uterus. Unable to get pregnant til we were married over 5 years. My baby was only 5 lbs and did have limb missing. She’s over 50 years old now and does great with her disability. My niece has it also so I do feel it’s hereditary.
my daughter was 12 years old when diagnosed. she had extreme pain in her side after playing on a slip n slide. they did an exploratory surgery to look and found it. she is now 18 and everytime she hits her side there is so much pain she has to go to the doctor. she also has enlarged ovaries and no period without birth control
I just today was told by my OBGYN that I have a heart shaped Uterus, she was in wow for she does not see very many with it. I have two girls 13 and 10. I am now 31 years old. While being on birth control I stopped having my periods, once I stopped the IUD I did not have a period for 2 years. I would get it every 4 to 6 months. So I got an ultrasound to make sure I did not have a block that could cause cancer. That’s when they noticed I have a heart Uterus. Since I was little I would get very heavy periods that were super painful, sex with my husband is a little painful. Labor as well but I am sure with every woman it is lol. I am glad I am not alone. ❤
I have this shape of uterus, I am trying to get pregnant, doctor told me maybe your infertility is because of this shape of uterus, thank you for sharing, now I have hope I can get pregnant like you ❤️❤️❤️
Hello, now I saw the video and I am in the same situation now, the doctors proposed to me to cut off my fat to reach a normal shape of the uterus, because for 9 years I have not remained and I still have a bicornuate uterus, and I do not accept surgery.😢
Today I just found out I have this & it’s scared me so much 😢 I don’t have kids yet but I want a child so bad… I have been on my menstrual for 98 days I went to the emergency room because I was not getting any answers anywhere. But glad to hear there’s still some hope that I can still have a child . I just hope that I can regulate my period soon .
I just found out that I had one, I'm 18 and on a gap year. The meeting was with a doctor who didn't speak english so I didn't get the details of how severe it is. But it got me very worried for future pregnancies, I just hope the complications won't hurt the baby. I'm only 18 and am planning on being pregnant in many years but I'm still very attached to this and it affects me a lot
I have this!! I found out when I was 17. I have 0 weird symptoms, rarely get bad period pain, and have really regular periods. I am scared about miscarriages though.
I found out a few years ago that I had a heart shape uterus. My period would not go away and I bled for a whole year, before then intercourse started to get painful. I found out through my sonograms tech also. By then my oldest child was grown and I was made aware that this was why I had to have an emergency c-section when I had him.
My mom and I have one. She had 10 pregnancies, 6 first trimester miscarriages and 4 live births. I didn't get diagnosed with mine until my 20 week scan with my son/first pregnancy. He was huge, I ended up dilating at 33 weeks and he was born at 36, 7 pounds. They said he ran out of space because of the heart shape, and would've been 10 pounds full term. 😅 now I'm 6 weeks with my second. Knowing I have a bicornuate uterus in the first trimester is giving me so much anxiety!
I went to do in vitro fertilization and I had a polyp, I operated on it, and only those at the hospital saw that I have a bicornuate uterus, and they sent me for more tests and checks, and then they said that it was necessary to do an operation to cut out my uterus until it reaches a normal shape, and they told me that with my uterus I shouldn't have any problems getting pregnant, but still I didn't stay. I'm afraid too and I don't agree with this operation to cut from the uterus.
There is a new totally safe technique called Laparoscopic metroplasty. You need to find a doctor who can perform it. If you want a baby you should go through the procedure, it is totally worth it. They need to cut and resew because the shape is not correct for baby to grow
Hi I am going threw IVF and yeah my doctor just told me I have this. Yeah I am crossing both my fingers and my toes and hoping that the whole process can help me become a mother.
Hello! Can you please tell me what doctor told you how should be treated pregnancy with uterus bicornis? Resting during all pregnancy or something different?
@@MarijaKnez-f6l He told me I had a better chance of getting pregnant if I went threw IVF. I am now pregnant. I hear we have a higher chance to miscarry and or delivering the child to early and so on. I am just hoping for the best.
I learned when I was 15 because of painful periods. They gave me an ultrasound and ever since then (I'm almost 24) I've been nervous to get pregnant but I very much want a baby right now. How many weeks did you carry your first? Were they c-sect?
I'm 29. I had HSG, the diagnosis is Bicornuate vs Septate Uterus. It's heartbreaking. I will have another check up to see if my eggcell matures, then after that, if I ovulates.
I have one! I just found out after a bilateral salpingectomy and ablation. I never wanted children and now I’m glad I have that mentality because my pregnancies could’ve been miscarriages.
I also have the one. I concieved a month after my marraig and my prganancy was very smooth Alhamdulillah. That i was pragnant with the second baby as i was breastfeeding mom so i had early miscariage. During that time dr told me about my bicornuate uterus. But nothing to worry about... It's just brain game..untill you are not aware you dont take tnsn ... The day you are diagnosed with something different you will start getting more worry and insecure about every little thing.. Even if u dont have any problm u will still feel.. Its all about phyclogical pressure that you take on ur self...
I recently had a scare with something suddenly appearing and after being examined the doctor and nurses have suggested my issue could be one of two things….this being one of them! They think maybe my uterus has prolapsed due to the effects of being on a new pill. I’m now waiting to see a doctor at the gynaecology department for answers to my issues. If it IS this….I suppose my first pregnancy was lucky then. But I’m surprised it was ignored in the initial scans many years ago.
I found out about my bicornuate uterus when I was 23. I am 31 now, unmarried. I go through extremely painful periods every month. To be honest i never had a painless one. Forget about periods I will have vaginal blood spotting and that's also really painful.

Hello! I have this, and I have known since I was a teenager by doing an ultrasound. I have my first child, she is almost two and healthy! I was a high risk pregnancy due to an issue with planceta and she was a smaller baby.
Im 21 and recently found out I was pregnant with my first baby but its still to early for my doc to see a fetal poole and also been diagnosed with this and i have to go back for another ultrasound because my doctor told me I might be high risk of miscarriages and kinda scared can't even sleep right now
I just found out that I have a bicornuate uterus. I am pregnant, and I was 5 weeks, 5 days at scan two days ago. Though we only saw the yolk sac. I've never had painful periods, in fact my periods have always been irregular but I also have pcos. This baby is very wanted and I hope to see an embryo next week. So far my gyno put me on progesterone to help my body maintain the pregnancy. If anyone had more information about things they did to have a healthy pregnancy with this condition please let me know. If I have never had symptoms, does that mean my condition is not to extreme?

I have a bicornuate uterus as well and also have endometriosis. Don’t have any babies yet but hope to one day 🙏🏼
I found out about my uterus because I had a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE period. Was crazy crazy heavy, lasted forever, only had a few day break before I got my period again… one day I had to leave school because I was lightheaded . Had to go to the doctor who sent me to the ER and then they did an ultrasound and told me I had this. I am going through my first pregnancy right now.. hoping for the best
I have a bicornuate uterus! I’ve known since I was about 26 or 27, I’m 32 now I’m going to be trying for a baby soon!
Go and stay under supervision with your gynaecologist NOT a midwive!..my daughter just lost her baby at 22 weeks of pregnancy...our hearts are broken....i
at 15 i was diagnosed with pcos and the radiologist never mentioned my uterus, at 17 i went to another radiologist and she said it straight to my face, which was unnecessary to tell a child about this, i worry about marriage alot since i know, seeing you girls in the comments made me real happy
Whatever Allah do no one can stop even if u have thousands os medical issue
Many women have successful pregnancies with BUs. Your tech shouldn’t have scared you so much.
I have a bicornuate uterus. Mine was missed also. I had two losses before I had my daughter. My pregnancy was healthy. I heard that the more children a woman has the more space she has in utero. There weren't many videos 7 years ago when I had my girl. So I made a few to help my BU moms out there.
I dignosed with heart shaped uterus today only nd m very concerned about how my later pregnancy will go on just hoping for the best 🙏🏻
i was diagnosed with my second pregnancy! i’ve had two miscarriages and my first was with my twins ❤️ i’m pregnant now and stressed a little but this made me feel lots better.
any updates?
I have a heart shaped uterus and am 8 wks pregnant with my first baby. I also have very painful periods as well.
Interesting!!
Me also sister. 😔😔😔
I have one! It went unnoticed in my first pregnancy and I’m currently pregnant with my rainbow baby at high risk pregnancy xx
same im checked every week I'm 7 weeks I had 3 miscarriage before. now I know why and I'm monitoring all.
I have one. My baby was 9.5 lbs but a footling breech. It was 38 years ago. I had a c section and that's how they found out.
I have this shape of uterus, I am trying to get pregnant, doctor told me maybe your infertility is because of this shape of uterus, thank you for sharing, now I have hope I can get pregnant like you ❤️❤️❤️
I have a heart shaped womb, I’ve had 3 miscarriages and no healthy pregnancies just yet👼🏻👼🏻👼🏻❤️
I just discovered u have bicornuate uterus during my first ultrasound i hope my baby stay healthy and I stay healthy too
Hello, now I saw the video and I am in the same situation now, the doctors proposed to me to cut off my fat to reach a normal shape of the uterus, because for 9 years I have not remained and I still have a bicornuate uterus, and I do not accept surgery.😢
Yes, I have bicornate uterus, n I have 3 healthy babies 😊 n also had one miscarriage 😞 after that
Did u take any extra care during pregncy? I too hve the same uterus and had 3 misscarriage ☹️

I am diagnosed with a bicornuate uterus and I have all of the above symptoms
I just found out that I had one, I'm 18 and on a gap year. The meeting was with a doctor who didn't speak english so I didn't get the details of how severe it is. But it got me very worried for future pregnancies, I just hope the complications won't hurt the baby. I'm only 18 and am planning on being pregnant in many years but I'm still very attached to this and it affects me a lot
I have this!! I found out when I was 17. I have 0 weird symptoms, rarely get bad period pain, and have really regular periods. I am scared about miscarriages though.
I just found out yesterday that I have a ❤ shaped uterus, and my tubes were blocked. Explained why we've been struggling with infertility. 🙏
I found out a few years ago that I had a heart shape uterus. My period would not go away and I bled for a whole year, before then intercourse started to get painful.
I found out through my sonograms tech also. By then my oldest child was grown and I was made aware that this was why I had to have an emergency c-section when I had him.
I never had a period naturally and turns out I have this I’m worried about the chance of not having children
I was 17 When I found out personally, I’ve had 3 miscarriages and now I’m pregnant again and terrified
The only thing was my baby was breech till end so i have to go for c section.
Thick 7 was behind it, the 7 is back to front facing the right
🙏 who do I believe 😭
I found out about my bicornuate uterus when I was 23. I am 31 now, unmarried. I go through extremely painful periods every month. To be honest i never had a painless one. Forget about periods I will have vaginal blood spotting and that's also really painful.
I have a heart-shaped uterus and because of this I lost my first pregnancy at 3 and a half months and with the next pregnancy, I gave birth at 4 and a half months....

So far my gyno put me on progesterone to help my body maintain the pregnancy.

I did an ultrasound today, and found out I have bicornuate uterus.
It was only found out i had one at the age of 44 after a hysterectomyi, I had had three successful pregnancies, although they were born three weeks early, which after founding this out i was told it was probably the reason why. The consultant said, i was very lucky to even have one child let alone three.
