I found out in my c section this January, first pregnancy, that i have a unicornuate uterus with kidney agenisis. I have half a uterus, one fallopian tube, one ovary, one kidney. They came very early, 31 weeks, but my twin boys are alive and well.

Just found out today, the doctor called it a y shaped uterus. He was removing an IUD in the OR. The IUD had basically gotten stuck in the right side. I haven’t talk to my doctor yet, his findings explain a lot. Your video was very helpful. Thank you!
I had 3 miscarriages and after numerous tests, I was told I had a septated uterus and had surgery to remove the septum. The next pregnancy, the placenta had attached to the scar tissue of the removal of septum and I nearly bled to death and spent approx. 4-5 months in and out of hospital with extreme hemorrhaging. I then received an emergency D&C which was done overly aggressive and the Dr. removed so much that my uterus closed and sealed together and when my son was 2 they attempted a laparoscopic procedure but my cervic was even sealed off. I then got a hysterectomy at the age of 25. My son has been worth every surgery, every hospital stay, and I still call him my million dollar man! I’ve been blessed to have one healthy, happy, now in medical school son that is my world!

Unicornuate uterus here. I may have had losses... but I am blessed to have a daughter and 34 weeks with a son. Not a lot of room. 1st was Csection due to being frank breech. This baby is head down and my doc is letting me try for VBAC.
Jennifer Stearns mam pls tell it is really possibility to pregnant with unicornuate uterus and one follopian tube bcoz m also unicornuate utrus and I am in tension when I know about it

The two Mullerian ducts start fusing somewhere in the middle and then it extends cranially and caudally. That's why in didelphys uterus, there may or may not be a double cervix but a double vagina is characteristic.

I have uterus didelphys with each one, a cervix…I delivered 2 babies thanks to the Lord! First born was breach and unmovable, delivered cesarean section. Second born, delivered naturally, carried to 38 weeks if I remember correctly. So grateful I was able to have children 💙💜💙

From what I know is that people affected by MRKH type 2 may also suffer from impaired hearing. In my opinion it's definitely a tragedy for a woman to be diagnosed on MRKH. It definitely takes serious guts to write personal stories online! It’s amazing that women do not let MRKH syndrome define their lives. You all raise awareness. Our imagination has no boundary, we all dream of getting married and having kids when time comes..And what if the nature thinks differently..My heart goes for all sailing in MRKH boat.
My friend was born with MRKH, type 2, that is without womb. Given that the vagina is underdeveloped or absent, intercourse becomes complicated and painful..Still this is not the main reason she decided to struggle the condition. The main reason though is that her dh and she both want genetically related kids. That is why they applied for surrogacy treatment, have already had their initial consultation. Their dr is a warm hearted understanding woman. My friend old she's never been in such a comfort with the clinic before..
On the Septate Uterus slide on the 3rd bullet point you say the uterus appears completely normal from the outside unlike didelphys/ However on the complete septate bullet point you say the external uterus does look like didelphys? Aren't these contradictory or have I mis-understood?
i have impression from my doctor that i have arcuate uterus, cannot totally rule out septate uterus. what does it mean doc?

The question is... is it automatically considered arcuate if the fundal indentation is less than 1cm?
Nowadays, uterus transplantation is still a highly experimental procedure. Even though some procedures have been performed with successful outcomes, experience is still insufficient..I believe one should think twice whether to use this option or not. What sounds ''safier'' to me is surrogacy. If own eggs are good enough, you just use them in IVF. Then med team places your embryos inside gestational carrier's womb. But sometimes surrogacy might be a huge financial burden so one should consider the options the best.
So i think i have a septum.. from what I've been told, it looks like septate.. one cervix, one entrance but two pathways.. whereas first time i was told about it 15 years ago, they had me think i had a partial septate? Like down to half or 2/3's of my uterus? So it's worse than i thought? And cause for PT concern? Is it genetic? My grandmother had two preterms before having my mom and aunt
Please help me my daughter has no uterus, has one developed ovary & tube, the second ovary & tube not fully developed. She has a dead end. She is constantly having headaches and period pains.
