There’s no point of having a PHEV if you do regular long journeys 😅
Hey Harry thanks for the comment. I think Matt got the PHEV because of the company car cost. He doesn’t use the battery at all lol. Thanks for the comment and chatting with us 🤗
I’ve got the hybrid first edition it’s great for long journeys it’s gets you over 200mpg then when the battery dies it goes fully on petrol I don’t have anywhere to charge it at home or work but it still works for me even if I just run it on petrol the full battery is a bonus
@@Premises225 I charge mine every day and barely have to put fuel in it 😂
@@harryhatman12I have the exact same car. Same here on the fuel. Completely the wrong choice of car for 1000 miles a week. Pointless lugging 180kgs of batteries around with you all the time, especially as he never plugs it in. The tax rules are nonsense in this regard. I had the Seat with the same engine (non hybrid) with a much bigger boot. Running this Cupra with no charge is much less fuel efficient. But if it’s a company car and fuel is paid then it doesn’t matter to the driver I guess
I have the same car and on the whole I like it. It looks great and the phev side works really well for me as mostly short journeys Mon-Fri.
The infotainment system is complete garbage though. Looks nice but not intuitive, far too complicated, laggy, loses settings and radio stations etc. Also the heater temp adjustments aren’t backlit so you can’t see them at night! 🤷♂️
Charging it will give him well over 40MPG. I'm getting 110 with a mix of e mode and hybrid in Cupra mode.
Ah that’s Awsome and great to know. Thanks so much for sharing the info! He deffo needs to use it lol appreciate you chatting to us 🤗
23.5 mpg? He must drive in a way that’s not safe for RUclips!
He has a very heavy foot lol
A friend of mine gets 660 to a full tank driving economically bearing in mind its a 40L tank that's with full charge aswell
Is that with the use of the battery as well? That’s decent! Ah just seen u say full battery as well! Thanks for sharing. Great to know for potential owners
300 miles full tank, surely not?
I know you would think more right! Imagine if he used the PHEV side of things as well.
I got the CUPRA Leon
Sportstourer 1.4 e-Hybrid VZ 245PK Pano Navi Cam L and I drive in eco mode around 625/670 km. And man I love this car so much!
What trim level is it? Currently waiting (15 months now) for a VZ2
Hey Ben I think Matt said this was a v2 trim. Does he not say in the video. Can’t remember. 15 months. Wow that is a wait. Did they give a reason what’s taking so long? Thanks for the comment and sharing
I have mine for 6 months now. Cant say much negative about it. I don't like that u can not turn off the charging while driving. I drive about 50km/day, so perfect. Sometimes i drive more, battery gets low/empty and the car starts charging while driving wich bumps up the fuel econemy to 11 liters/100K.
What is the long term mpg on this car?
@@alistairthow1384 All depends on how much you charge it and how far your journeys are. I charge every day at home and mainly do 40 miles a day and my average over 2000 miles is 90mpg but have seen way higher than that before.
