Thanks for another good and detailed review, Thomas. I would like to hear a bit more details about the Golf GTE vs. Cupra Leon comparison. What's your take on the driving characteristics - and on the packages as a whole? For me the added practicality of the Cupra ST vs the hatch format of the Golf speaks in favour of the Cupra, but will it come with a noticeable downside in regards to dynamic performance and interior quality feel?
cheers! Well the longer wheelbase makes it a little less sportier yes, but not THAT noticeable. You re right with the practical side. Interior build quality is comparable

Thanks you for the good video which explains well the pro and cons. In order for me to understand the leg room in the rear seat. Could you please tell us how tall you are ? 1m80 ? Is the seat in front was set for you ?
I had a test drive in this car and also the Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake 250e, I will be leasing and the price is similar. How would you compare the Cupra Leon to the CLA if you had to choose? I like them both and cannot decide :-)
I have the FR version and thinking of upgrading, however don’t know if the 10 000€ price difference is worth it though. Basically the same car, but it sure sounds good! Might just have to upgrade just because of the sound alone, yes I’m that kind of guy. 😂

I know it has no function what so ever (even if Seat/Cupra is one of few manufacturers to actually put functionality in the ambient lighting), and my car is driven 95% of the time without backseat passangers, but I still think it's kind of cheap to not include back doors lights.
