Ppl have to respect you when you recover low or you can kamikazee. Best vertical recovery. Kills around 130% which is fair for move that is very easy to land. You can usually dj and down b to recover off stage safely through the top of the screen. Safe option OoS to not commit with up B. Divekick kills around 140%. Punishes zoners for throwing a projectile. Sneaky way to edgehog. Hard to punish on reaction. Good to time out fresh stock inv frames. Swordfighter- Forgot the numbers but here it is. Neutral B Gale Strike- free follow up & kill confirms (up air, hero spin, bair) 2 frames, stage control. Side B- Chakrum- Gimps, controls neutral, free follow up and kill confirms (dash attack, f smash?) Free grab if blocked (the slow 1) Up B- Skyward slash- best recovery mixup. Decent vertical and horizontal range. Decent damage but hard to combo into. (Hero spin is a good kill confirm off of gale strike BUT it's an awful recovery. Stone scabbard it's cool IF you always plan to recover low (predictable) which also makes you have to hold an edge trap. Down B- Reversal Slash Most ppl have projectiles in this game so of you're going in blind, u might as well have mario's cape. It breaks some reflectors after a ping pong exchange like palutena, pit and gunner. (Gunner dies at 0% if he gets a reflected smash missile) Counter sucks because of the knockback and power thrust is pretty much unreactable and kills around 130% so u can use it if ur opp does not have a projectile.
Axel Morales honestly, I’d switch gunner’s down B to bomb drop because it’s amazing for zoning, stage control, ledge trapping and edge guarding and in my opinion being able to gimp and 2 frame with vortex because you can already gimp with other moves such as neutral air, and because 2 framing with vortex isn’t that good. I’d then replace neutral B with charge shot because bomb drop does what grenade launch does and more.

Note on Gunner's Neutral B 3: You can move left and right with it in the air, making it to where you can carpet bomb the stage. Set up correctly near ledge to where the grenades fall down off the ledge, it can be an edgegaurd comparable or even better than Ness' yo-yo on ledge
I'd argue it's even better, because you can move up slightly to cause the grenades to fall slightly below ledge and hit most characters without a teleport or invincible recovery on the way up. Another note on Neutral B 3, it's one of the moves in the game that's a combo starter on block. It's +10 if you hit it on shield, which directly combos into a dash grab which leads into some insane juggling.
@PYM PIK I prefer Gunner, he has by far the most terrifying juggling game which can be chained into by his grab. I think mostly it comes down to specials. Brawler and Swordfighter kind of have a definitive "best set" of special moves, but with gunner there isn't really a wrong answer (except laser blaze)
There's no way that Flame Pillar is better than Arkfire. Arkfire has a larger hitbox, grants discards, can combo into way more options, and can perform Galeforce, one of the spiciest combos out there.
I just wish they made all their options more viable. I feel like they did the best with gunner in terms of having multiple viable options and the worst with swordfighter where you absolutely have to use certain specials like gale and chakram to be relevant.
Undoubtedly tornado and chakras are good, and probably the best specials for sword fighter, but shuriken and airborne assault are solid if you want a more spammable zoning tool or want a better recovery. The up b's are really just personal preference for if you want vertical recovery, kill confirms and out of shield, or general recovery. All the Down b's are all pretty useful too In their own right.
should be added that neutral option two for brawler can mix up for recoveries since it stalls you in the air, it also makes you invincible while going through the animation after it connects
Stone scabbard can also hit people hanging from the ledge meaning you could rotate it to make up for hero spin’s recovery and Gale strike’s... slowness, and rotate Gale Strike for Shuriken. After all there is way more kill options for Mii sword fighter then a string combo that doesn’t always work at the price of two move slots.
Sigh... I guess I know what I'll have to do to play my most wished for characters. Swordfighter - Travis Touchdown Brawler - Shantae Gunner - ??? (if only the Tails costume wasn't so bad)
Tbh brawler is better. Yeah, Gunner has the range and Swordfighter has the combos, but whens the last time you saw any other mii besides brawler in a casual match? And..... *Soaring axe kick spikes and exploding side kick ledge guards are all I ever live for.*
one quick thing i wanna mention and i don't play this game competitively but is very nice to know, on mii brawler, flashing mach punch for neutral special is a pretty good choice because it will knock enemies upwards at a decent strength and since a lot of mii brawlers combos and specials throw enemies upwards, flashing mach punch can be a great tool to use mid air to secure a kill
This is hilarious because in the proguides tier list mii brawler is the highest it shows how uncoordinated and uninformed it doesnt help the stereotype that youtube video sponsors arent that good
4:47 U can actually still kill at 0% with this move as a combo finisher. The combo in question is... D-Tilt, FAir, Helicopter Kick. Again this can kill at 0% even on Bowser!!!
I'm a Mii swordfighter main and I have a bit in tournament called pimp my sans where I let my opponent pick the bottom. My favorite is BOTW Sans. He's the secret final boss of BOTW 2, my uncle works at Nintendo
Some moves have better rage scaling like lucario. So onslaught will do a lot more knockback instead of a little, with rage. Also it caps at 150% but idk if onslaught caps at that damage.
Yeah. I do have to agree. Gunner is the best. And also, correction: lunar launch goes the most distance, not arm rocket. And brawler isn't that useless, he has really high damage output and great recovery along with amazing disadvantage in general.
Lunar launch only goes vertical tho but it can be a good edgdguard + good recovery; but arm rocket while it has no hitbox allows a wider area for gunner to use different edge guard tools
@@cassmoney3160 I know this, but pure distance wise, LL goes farther. I know how AR is way more versatile and better, but like I mean purely distance based
Oh boy, lets see how many Brawler facts they butcher in this video Edit: 1. Onslaught in Brawler sucks, NEVER use it 2. Quite a lot of people can recover after a "suicide suplex", so inform yourself before trying 3. When talking about Thrust Uppercut, it should definitly be mentioned that down throw TU is a kill confrm on platforms of any kind. Very important for the move Seems pretty ok as basics, thx keitaro
Feel so happy as a gunner main! Would love to watch a longer gunner video... hint hint. Things to talk about. Gunners grenades are the best lazy mans edge guarding tools. Most of her other smash moves are just better versions of Samus’s. While start up moves are slow, they chain quickly into follow up moves. Using forward air to recover is Crazy good, along with her heavy weight makes her hard to kill. Idk. Stuff like that.
I've actually been a Mii Gunner main since Smash 4, and have some good results under my belt in Ultimate. Feels good to finally get some recognition for existing lol.
Before the projectile nerfs patch in Smash it was Swordfighter. During that patch, they cut tornado to 2/3 its original distance. Chakram could no longer hit enemies hanging on the ledge, and its range was also nerfed. Tornado would also shield poke from a short hop on the third use. Also, swordfighter lacks any low % kill options. After the projectile nerfs, Sans is the best (I mean gunner). They have a good recovery, shield break options, ledge traps, and good zoning. Not to mention they have a few early kill options.
This is funny. Gunner was so much better before the nerfs. You literally couldn't shield against this character as like all of her projectiles had a lot of shield break potential, I know because it used to be a big tactic of mine if you sheild more than like 1 grenade you would get poked or a broken sheild.
Mii gunner is my personal pick, good at far and close range and has some pretty damaging attacks. Tbh all the mii fighters are pretty underrated, while I don’t use mii brawler and barley use mii sword fighter I know both of them are good. Also mii gunner has sans and cuphead costumes so it’s objectively the best
I think Burning Dropkick was nerfed,I remember it having more charge and range. But,Mii Gunner is my favorite type. (Even long before it got more attention because of the unfunny meme skeleton and that sentient sippy cup.) Laser Blaze is essentially a better version of Fox's and Falco' blasters,it's spammy like Fox and makes opponents flinch,I enjoy using this as a means of being a little aggressive. Stealth Burst travels a very good distance, and it's very rewarding when you time the hit. Personally I think Mii Gunner is the best,it has essentially everything for a situation. Plus the default Mii has a lot of r34 so yeah another point for Mii Gunner lol... Mii Swordfighter is a close second,it's down air is pretty useful for interrupting attacks. I think Miis are much better now than they are in Sm4sh.
I wish Nintendo would make all the official mii’s be downloadable or added as dlc for purchase along with the costumes. So all you would have to do is customize the voice and the special moves. Not having to make miis from scratch to look like the accurate character they are suppose to be would just be amazing. I have the standard miis unlocked and made myself in all 3 types. That’s it though. I love the miis but I’d rather be playing smash rather than creating miis who look like who they’re suppose to be… If only… plus a lot of the times even if done as accurate as possible they still look terrible. I love this video! Very well done. The Mii gunner is my favorite.
You forgot to mention that Mii Gunner's Charge Shot hit under the ledge and that Gunner Missile is the strongest missile variant if you compare it to Samus and Dark Samus, as well as it has decent kill potential near the ledge at high percent. And Mii Brawlers Smash attacks kill super good! Specially Side Smash, it can kill pretty early.
I’ve been an advocate for Mii mains since Smash 4, all the Miis are fun to play. For Brawler, I recommend 1112, Swordfighter 1322/1332, and Gunner 1332.
I've got to go for gunner it has range for keeping your distance while still doing damage. HOWEVER, some of it's smash attacks are multi-hitting just like the brawler. It's a combination of speed and technicality

Is this Keitaro?
NilsManh1337 idk
Yes
Yep, confirmed after the "catch one of these" and his laugh
You thibk
YES I FUCKING LOVE KEITARO
4 months ago: Oh yes Keitaro!
Now: Oh no, Keitaro!
Brawler are you kidding
Feint jump turns brawler into an actual character
should be added that neutral option two for brawler can mix up for recoveries since it stalls you in the air, it also makes you invincible while going through the animation after it connects
Finally a speaker that isn't obnoxiously annoying and doesn't make me shut the video in 10 seconds. Brilliant voice and humor.
3:05 wait is this keitairo talking???
Yeah it is keitaro
I just loved making mii.
I miss the Ultimate Uppercut special from Smash 4, it was such a good move.
It was
Sigh... I guess I know what I'll have to do to play my most wished for characters.
Swordfighter - Travis Touchdown
Brawler - Shantae
Gunner - ??? (if only the Tails costume wasn't so bad)
Why is Mii Brawler the same tier as Little Mac on your website?
Mii Brawler : *exists.*
Pro Players talking to others : *Hey do you want an apple juice with your grave ?*
This is hilarious because in the proguides tier list mii brawler is the highest it shows how uncoordinated and uninformed it doesnt help the stereotype that youtube video sponsors arent that good
I just love Mii Brawler's iron ball.
Once a brawler main always a brawler main
4:47 U can actually still kill at 0% with this move as a combo finisher. The combo in question is...
D-Tilt, FAir, Helicopter Kick.
Again this can kill at 0% even on Bowser!!!
"mii gunner is the best" "mii brawler is the worst" that didn't age well
I'm a Mii swordfighter main and I have a bit in tournament called pimp my sans where I let my opponent pick the bottom. My favorite is BOTW Sans. He's the secret final boss of BOTW 2, my uncle works at Nintendo
lol you chose mii gunner because she is a counterpick character. fuckin great logic
3:53 this happens with every move and it caps out at about 200% it’s called rage
Some moves have better rage scaling like lucario. So onslaught will do a lot more knockback instead of a little, with rage. Also it caps at 150% but idk if onslaught caps at that damage.
Sanshead is the best Mii fighter
a h e m
DS was the origin of miis I think
Ima be fair, I knew the Miis Before Mario
I know how AR is way more versatile and better, but like I mean purely distance based
Oh boy, lets see how many Brawler facts they butcher in this video
Edit:
1. Onslaught in Brawler sucks, NEVER use it
2. Quite a lot of people can recover after a "suicide suplex", so inform yourself before trying
3. When talking about Thrust Uppercut, it should definitly be mentioned that down throw TU is a kill confrm on platforms of any kind. Very important for the move
Seems pretty ok as basics, thx keitaro
iirc, onslaught is f13.
@@chrispo7610 bro......
1. its f15
2. Is has fuckin 70 total frames when it DOESNT connect. 70! Thats 9 frames less thatn ESK. Never worth the risk
Brawler there we are done
The best is Mii Gunner
The other two are okay I guess but Mii Gunner is my Main and I totally have 0 bias
Now my question is... how do I get your mii on the fighter?
Feel so happy as a gunner main!
Would love to watch a longer gunner video... hint hint.
Things to talk about. Gunners grenades are the best lazy mans edge guarding tools. Most of her other smash moves are just better versions of Samus’s. While start up moves are slow, they chain quickly into follow up moves. Using forward air to recover is Crazy good, along with her heavy weight makes her hard to kill. Idk. Stuff like that.
Mii gunner just throws tou off stage and grenade goes boom
"has issues grabbing the ledge"
Sakurai dropping the Kazuya update: are you sure about that?
0:10 the point is to see joseph joestar fighting against sans :V
Uy un papulince
Video starts at 10:36
I've actually been a Mii Gunner main since Smash 4, and have some good results under my belt in Ultimate. Feels good to finally get some recognition for existing lol.
Mii's tornado move is a nightmare for any character without teleportation or projectiles. It sets the opponent up for a perfect combo.
My Favourite Characters. For no reasons because yes.
I'm from the Future (A year Ahead) And They've Buffed Nicely
I have never seen a Mii move so fluidly in my life
I love the mii brawler because I'm literally the laughing emoji. Joyers rise up.
could someone please tell me what is the most used Set Up of each mii please🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
If you don't know where the Mii fighters came from, you legally should not have a switch
In my opinion they need to add more specials
Brawlers counter is insanely powerful
mii brawler dressed as steve harvey is the best mii brawler but only dressed as steve harvey
I thought I was smoking crack when I heard Keitairo
Watching iwata and reggie ora oraing is just bliss
I think Burning Dropkick was nerfed,I remember it having more charge and range.
But,Mii Gunner is my favorite type. (Even long before it got more attention because of the unfunny meme skeleton and that sentient sippy cup.)
Laser Blaze is essentially a better version of Fox's and Falco' blasters,it's spammy like Fox and makes opponents flinch,I enjoy using this as a means of being a little aggressive.
The sword fighter is my main tornado, hero spin, counter, chacrem
7:19 "Stone Scuh-BARD"
I main mii swordsfighhter because he was one of the first characters in the world of light
All miis are strong if you made the apropriate specials to them
You forgot to mention that Mii Gunner's Charge Shot hit under the ledge and that Gunner Missile is the strongest missile variant if you compare it to Samus and Dark Samus, as well as it has decent kill potential near the ledge at high percent. And Mii Brawlers Smash attacks kill super good! Specially Side Smash, it can kill pretty early.
I love playing Mii Gunner, thanks for making this video!
"they think it's gunner. I think it's brawler." you don't think it's brawler, you KNOW it's brawler.
I’ve been an advocate for Mii mains since Smash 4, all the Miis are fun to play. For Brawler, I recommend 1112, Swordfighter 1322/1332, and Gunner 1332.
I kinda wish you mentioned the fact that Explosive Side Kick, unlike Falcon and Warlock punch, has super armor on BOTH the ground and in the air.
« The unique costumes made for mii gunner »
You mean she copied sans’ moveset so sans mains can pick her up?
brawler with "falcon punch" because i actually want to play the game.
Hitbox on gale stab is way better than Ike’s they just need to fix the ledge issue and it would just be better
I've got to go for gunner it has range for keeping your distance while still doing damage. HOWEVER, some of it's smash attacks are multi-hitting just like the brawler. It's a combination of speed and technicality
