Crazy how these guys rebuild stuff, no fancy clean workshop with expensive tools. Just a dirty Yard, old tools and alot of Mechanicl skills. I love these Vids
Thanks for the view
You could eat your dinner off my bench and floor. . . . sooooo careful with con rods crank etc. . . They throw stuff all over . . use chisels to take covers off etc . . . Amazing they don't leak everywhere . . . let alone RUN ha ha ha ha ha ha
Hat's off the these boys for their work.
so amazing these people are... good job guys...
so amazing these people are.. good job guys....
They just make it work. It's amazing
ماشاءاللہ جس قوم میں اتنے محنت کش ہوں تو وہ قوم کسی دوسرے ملک کی کس طرح مقروض ہو سکتی ہے سمجھ سے بہار ہے
I salute to these PAKISTANIS champions for there impressive hard work
Thanks
They are gays tho
No OSHA violations here 😮
Great craftsmanship.
None at all. EH&S is also not an issue.
A simple tear down and cleaning. A dirt lot, no power tools, wearing slippers and sandals! Never saw anyone check tolerances with a micrometer. Looked like new rings. We're heads machined? A tripod and chain fall?! At least they used a torque wrench. New bearings?
Great point!
5:20 Bamboo poles to joist the engine up.....And wearing running shoes on the job. Pretty valiant in my opinion!
steel poles.
i think they are retired oil rig drill pipes
Amazing what they can do with the bare essentials and basic hand tools amazing ! Amazing if they had new tools ! Great video !
Yes they do
Just remember, this country has developed nuclear weaponry...
Pay attention at 12:57 the right side guy almost lost a finger with crankshaft drop.
Good working videos.
Thanks for watching & Follow Me For More Informative Videos
Looks like a Union shop. 😂
Did you get your Diesel particulate filters? 🤣👍
These are sure hard workers, but it kills me to watch them rolling this engine, and its parts and components, around on the ground.
Warranty is 30 seconds or 30 feet whichever occurs first.
It's really amazing how these guys work. Most of the tools I see are hand made , really amazing. If these guys came here they could make millions.
All the oil and solvents on the ground appears to be a great weed killer...🤔
The only unboxing of new items that I saw was piston rings. Not even a new camshaft. But those guys do work well as a team.
And yet it works. Makes you wonder
These guys always seem to have a ''observer'' present, one guy who just stands there and watches what everybody else is doing, I think he is there for quality control.
👍
boss
Kibitzer.
Hahaha… quality control. Best joke of the day 🤣
I was interested in the firing timings. I didn't really get to see how he did the timing. With the kind of smoke it was producing, i feel it wasn't timed well. If the engine isn't timed well, it will run rich or lean, and eventually, it will seize. Another thing is that torque value, especially at fastening the crankshaft, is very important during the operation of the engine. If one bearing is tighter than the other, it will not be well lubricated well, and therefore, there is a high chance of engine knocking.
Reason to smoke was that they tested engine without turbo, it's a turbo engine, what do you think?
Невникай
@@umarshahzad3087 When you just put an engine like that together all the oil you use on the parts during assembly will get into the combustion chamber and then smoke for about half an hour until it is burnt off. Very normal.
@@umarshahzad3087 it is diesel, so there will be smoke, but his concerns are valid all things considered
Let it knock , its a diesel!😂

Why have I never seen the mechanics use air tools impact guns and things like that they save so much time but instead they hand tools for everything
Always interesting and nice to see these creative mechanics. Question "how long do all those repairs last?" The engineblock looked like shit when they opened it for the maintenance.
They also work in the middle of a load of junk.
Scrap bits of metal all over the place.
They got that thing purring like a kitten!
Ahh your union workers hard at it.
49:17 shout out to the guy taking all the smokes.😁
Before you break an engine you wash all the dirt off and place the engine were is a cement floor, sand ,dirt pebbles could damage components if tools are place in the floor especially when putting it together, they should have people keeping the place and tools clean, other than that they are hard working men
No they understand it on a much higher level than you . They know what parts can and can’t get damaged and they also clean everything perfectly before it’s put back on
Wooly hard hat's and flip flop safety boots, all mod cons😂, health and safety would be doing back flips in the UK.
Baboo, where did you put the bolts to the manifold???😂
"Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools...
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’

A good wash down before stripping would help, can you just imagine the amount t of grit getting into the oilways etc. let alone putting the parts on a dirty floor. When I was at Lotus Cars I would have been sacked for working like this. I bet those parts are not matched to their original journals or pistons refitted to their original bores, bars put in bores to turn the block over I rest my case.
No oil on the crankshaft !
I agree with who’s lot of the professionals say this guys might not fallow the rules or the book instruction but a least they aren’t scared about a big projects not to long ago I brought my 6.9 idi to a several different mechanics shops here in town for a head gasket and no one wanted to take the job a lot of them even say on their website that there isn’t a job to big for them but they where scare of a 6.9 idi I end up doing it myself I’ll never try to hire anyone for my car repairs never again
Imagine how a case of rubber work gloves, a hot tank, and some air tools would probably triple their efficiency.
Great job guys. Greetings from Brazil
i better know, how much efforts spent during shoot this video by creator. wishing you good luck boss
Excellent video ! 👍
Thanks for the visit
@@mechanicalworld485 You're welcome !
They doing what thet can with what they have ..if the out come of the repair is a positive outcome ok ..i enjoy watching folks who want to work to get the desired.. outcome thanks for the video
You are so welcome!Stay connected with us 🥂
Are you gonna tell me there is one guy who can put that all back together???
What Abt all the bolts n nuts? aren't they goin to mix?
While I respect the resourcefulness of the people, seeing the conditions they work in, it makes me cringe a bit. I'd never take a motor apart in the dirt....or beat on stuff with hammers. I wonder how long these rebuild last?
Best to use dish soap on those liner o ring
Grease will cause the o rings to swell
Excellent work
Great tip!
Can we all get together and send them some Snap-On tools?
Very nice job ,but please be carfule use some tools to make laouding more safe and check slings and the hocks , be carful from Back pain and disc, God with you all .
Thanks for the tips!
Do you really think it would still be running?? I doubt it with the amount of dirt and contamination everywhere, why on earth would you not wash it first
I was a prime power production technician (52E) in the Army until retirement and then worked as a field service technician for Detroit Diesel/Allison. From working on Mega/Super yachts, very large land based and marinized generators and main propulsion marine Diesel engines, I have never seen anything as dangerous as this. This entire operation is insane and since every repair I ever did was in the field…nothing like this. I want to see the videos of the guys with their feet smashed to pulp and fingers cut-off. The heavy equipment they are repairing has hydraulics but, they don’t? Damn, at least demand a hydraulic crane or electric lifts. Their backs have got to be screaming when they get home and start to rest. 😳☹️
You want to watch the vid where they are stripping and rebuilding a CAT final drive , all of them wearing sandles , I'm 71 and still wear safety boots in my workshop , but I also know that if you drop something on your foot it always manages to miss the toe cap haha .
@@IVAN-bs5bq I have seen some seriously crazy $hit in videos like this. I wonder if their heads would pop at the sight of a decent pair of steel-toed work boots? If the countries even allow safety gear? 🥴
And NO workers comp either I'm sure. Work or don't get paid. Injury? That's on you..
No torque wrench just keep tightening it until it doesn’t move 😂😂😂😂
like it the mechanic💪💪💪💯💯💯
Pakistanis at there best even though with less resources
The epitome of a well cared for and maintained engine, obviously really well serviced! Sorry I Don't mean to be harsh but I can't stand to see things like that, regardless of how much I actually enjoy the video!
Thanks 👍
Some personal protective gear to protect the skin from oil and solvents would seem advisable. Nitrile gloves, safety boots and glasses would help.
Техника безопасности на высшем уровне!!!)))) Но мужики всеравно молодцы!!!!!
Excellent work 👍🌹❤️
Thank you! Cheers!
I bet money if you compared the injuries they experience at work with the injuries and deaths experienced at a workplace of similar output in the west it’s safer there in Pakistan .
Reason is they naturally want to be safe and have trained and developed skills since young age and work together to point that they know where to be and not to be to point of avoidance of any danger.
In the west we are more focused on safety rules to point that we are distracted and end up getting hurt
Wow really amazing work,
You are a very proportional mechanic I am very proud of you,
Thank you for sharing your experience,,,,
Thank you very much!
EPA would have a field day when he hoses the block with water onto the ground
EPA right! Hi I'm from the EPA to do an inspection. Are you alone? Yes Well if you came up missing no one would know where to look. Ah, inspection's over you passed see you later.
the boss keeps his hands clean, good for him
Thank you so much & Subscribe for more informative videos 🥂
You think with the technology they do have you think they would come up with a better way of moving that motor around
Pakistan contry bleessed for Lord!!!
❤️
Served my time on cats many years ago remember as a young lad stripping a D8 turbo problems good stuff
تهانينا للشباب المبدعين إنه عمل رائع عندما كنت صغيرا عملت بهذه المهنة
Thanks brother
..вы сейчас инвалид?.
pretty cool how the do things there. I guess it works. wonder how long that will last tho.
And all on oily flipflops
All they need is Impact, and cordless guns with a better engine hoist and they would really fly though this rebuild
Thank you so much & Subscribe for more informative videos 🥂
Not even a cleaning, parts in the dirt.
So painful to watch that engine rolling around in the dirt.
There’s know point in saying why don’t they or what if this happens / they know the risks they know the danger but best thing they know what there doing so it’s just nice to watch the video and enjoy. 👍👍👍💪💪💪🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

When 10 men are allocated to one engine, you know the wages are low. Nicely done.
Thank you for watching 👀
Not a lot of worker protection and security.Wonder how many are wounded or dead around the work shops in Pakistan every year .
Very impressive
Really Golden Hands
Thanks 👍
Good job
this is teamwork, great achievements
Thank you
Impresionante su trabajo son.unos especialistas para trabajar felicidades muchos y su cultura adeser impresionante saludos desde Zac mexico
Thanks (love Mexico 🇲🇽)
Thats one hell of a puzzle to put back together.
I believe they used the video we are now watching but played it in reverse in order to remount all the pieces of the engine together.😄😄😄
The more important people, stay clean, and watch. St.Paul,Minnesota.
Thank you for your response🥂
Takes a lot of time but the wages are low ,very low .but it gives work to a lot of people in different ages.
Love their Tenacity! 👍

Oh yes!
Did you see the NAPA delivery truck?
It looks like the weather must be a little cold with all the layers and wool Caps around and that dude just spraying those guys down with the plumbing jetl like they're playing in the backyard on a hot July day smh.
QUE TECNICOS NI QUE OCHO CUARTOS......EN I N D I A O P A Q U I S T A N ....TODO ES POSIBLE.....
Para trabalhar nessas condições, só sendo homens jovens, porque só eles aguenta esse ambiente totalmente desprovidos de qualquer conforto para execução do trabalho pesado.Parabens a esses homens pelo de equipe.
oil all over the ground, dirt every where.....doubt it last long.
Donde poderlos ubicarlos en que cuidad viven ellos
Great teamwork I'll say that.
Thanks
Seems like a high enough quality job that they did
👍
