Could you imagine parachuting out of a plane, along with a thousand other soldiers, and landing with this Cyclone build and racing to battle...this scene needs to be done in some sort of Tarantino film in the future...
I came to check out the motor and see if it was loud, but damn man... what a beautiful scenic ride you have available. Is that near your home? Great vid.
I've solved all my issues now, the trick to doing it is to use spacers between the 2 middle sprockets, to make the chain lime as straight as possible, I used some washers with an 8mm bore to achieve this.
Zippy FPV so spacers on the sprockets... hmmm I was going to try spacers where the motor bolts to the plates. ... you have the motor mount plates with the bend right? Cool bike now i will go google what a Glory is
which chain is coming off? if its the front chain (motor sprocket > middle sprocket), then why cant you just move the motor sprocket along the shaft? there is a small grub screw you loosen so you can slide it to the right position. Also my motor mount plates aren't the bent ones, they are the regular ones, i think that the bent one would be better, as it would only require a few ribs between the plates to make it very strong.
Zippy FPV ribs like some bolts passing through with a pipe or block in the middle? If I move the sprocket out on the shaft it will be even further out of alignment... the motor sproclet would bottom out on the motor housing. I think i need to figure out a way to reinforce and that would do it. The chain to motor comes off lately. Thanks for the input... at least i can take the BB out in 5 minutes... because i have done it so much.
Hi, could you make a video showing the modified mount please ? If you have the time. Have you thought about mounting the gear shifter on the other side ? Upside down ?
I dont think thats a good idea, imagine riding a powerful motorbike with the throttle on the left! that is what it would be like, its much better to keep the throttle on the right, so its like a regular vehicle. I guess if you have an extremely weak e-bike like 750W hub or below, then it wouldn't matter as if you get jolty on the throttle you won't notice.
risk using that setup is if the crank freewheel pawls locks up it would spin the pedal arms into the riders leg. safer to have the motor drive a rear wheel sprocket like a motorcycle setup and safety guard protecting riders leg from spinning chainring
I dont think its possible for the pawls to just randomly lock up, something pretty serious would have to happen inside the freewheel bearing for it to seize!
either way its still very dangerous having a sharp spinning chainring like a circular saw next to the riders leg with no safety guard. that amount of motor force could drag the rider into it if clothing got caught up
Hi a few more questions for you :) What is your total weight including your body weight and bike with the installed kit? When you do 45MPH on the flat roads are those roads on soft or hard dirt or pavement? Is your 60km range going what speed on the those flat roads and is that with or without pedaling? Do you have any pictures and specs of your bike posted anywhere? thanks :)
The total weight is between 100-105KG all up, the bike is 25kg and the batteries which are in a backpack which is 6kg. When I do 45mph it is on a flat dirt road like the roads you see in the video at the end, It can go a bit more on concrete but I've never tested the speed on concrete roads yet. to get 60km range you need to keep below 19MPH or 30kmh, and do a little bit of pedalling to help. i haven't posted any pictures of the bike anywhere. I can email you some pictures if you want just give me an email address to send it to.
Zippy FPV wow that is impressive range with total weight about the same as my ebike and me but im getting about 25 miles on a single charge but that is with some hills and flat roads. Yes please email pics to rockstarbruski@rockstarbruski.com Thanks! :)
Nice video! You have some nice open trails there. I have a similar setup on a mountain cycle shockwave. My trails are more single track though. Check out my videos.

That last stretch where he was just balls out down a dusty road, that won the day. Gotta have.
Sounds just like my mini cyclone(2k-watt) lol. It’s a smaller cousin but sure is fun on smaller dh bike frame build.
Man you can pedal fast! my legs would be killing me after a ride like that on the old push bike.
his legs move so fast that it looks like they are not moving at all.
Cool video...the bike MOVES!
This is promising, I can't wait to see what a 150A 72v sabvoton will look like. Maybe keep up with a drill one?
Beast of a ebike👌🏻👍😃

What's that reinforced motor mount look like? Do you have a build on EndlessSphere or any pics?
3:00 i cant get my chain to stop coming off. :-(

Ill work on it!
That'd be great.
Another option for the shifter setup that I spotted is to have a thumb throttle on the left.
I might give that a try myself.

What gear combo so you have? I have a similar motor and i found that i dont have to much high speed ( 40kmh) and i have too much low speed torqur
Impressive!

Go buy yourself some bubble wrap
Is that pretty likely to happen? Also the foot wouldn't get caught if it's resting on the pedals right
what forks ure using ?

What backpack are you using? It must be very good one to hold this weight on such rides.
Cool video. What is your top speed in mph on this setup?
Thanks man! It tops out at 45mph on flat ground.
Zippy FPV thanks that is fast! Be safe! You might consider wearing gloves at that speed :)
Is your motor still running?
Nice video! You have some nice open trails there. I have a similar setup on a mountain cycle shockwave. My trails are more single track though. Check out my videos.
hi what are you using for the charger???
i'm using an ISDT 300W 14 amp mini charger, and two hobby king 150w accucell8-150 chargers, all running from a 650W PC power supply.
Thank you
20-60km autonomy? It seems too much for 10AH !!
yes thats right, remember the battery is 75V so it is actually a very large battery, a 50v 10ah battery is much smaller than this.
grow tf up kid
Cheers for cyclone mid-drive!
