I've heard this song a bunch of different ways.... and it moves me spiritually and emotionally everytime I hear it. A couple buddies that I knew a long time ago named Dave and Jameson played it acoustic while we were sitting around a camp fire drinking and hanging out, and it might have been the most beautiful version I had ever heard. If this song released today.... it would be an instant classic , a song that truly stands the test of time

This and have a cigar were the highlights of the 1975 Pink Floyd album Wish You Were Here and being 16 at the time I thought all music was going to be this good forever. Sure the Beatles were no longer a group but Clapton, Bowie, Led Zeppelin and the Who were pumping out great music not to mention the pile of great American bands at the time. Billy Corgan is a brilliant musician and he does such a great performance of the song that many younger people are now going to take notice of that era of music.
