And they followed it up on the next album with something just as good if not better, with thorn in my pride. Which has some of the most amazing melodies, and most incredible lyrics you will ever hear.

The brothers have a history of fighting about everything. They have gone on hiatus 2X but this last fight in 2014 push the band over the edge. There were 3 founding members (Chris, Rich and Steve Gorman the drummer) Chris felt like he was the one doing everything for the Black Crowes and wanted to reduce Steve tobjustva hired artist and take away his 33 1/3 share of the band as well as Rich and with that the band broke up. Rich started Magpie Salute and Chris went on to continue his CRB (Chris Robinson Brotherhood) which he already formed on the first hiatus. But in the last couple of years they have suffered some deaths, Stan their dad, Neal from the brotherhood and Ed from the Crowes which was part of the Magpie Salute. Hopefully this is a fresh start, Chris doesn't sound so arrogant, Rich is actually smiling all signs that this might be a solid start but so was each time they implodes in the past......... Now on the metal head, I felt the same till I followed a guitarist and it brought me to another artist, and another artist.......not about metal anymore but about the bond a artist has with the instrument for me. Hope that helped
Actually they have a live double album called 'before the frost...until the freeze'. You also can find it filmed on RUclips its called 'cabin fever'. Enjoy
