I'm not a veteran but I absolutely love listening to you guys. What you guys say is so true and so powerful. PLEASE never stop speaking about the things that matter. Your words are not falling on deaf ears. There are proud Americans praying for your continued success in life.
Left side hats forward. Right side hats backwards. I like it.
Noticed the same thing!
Politicians have no accountability whatsoever!
They never did
Interesting how politicians are pointing out violations of oath of office on the part of police officers and yet, these elected policticians are doing just that on a daily basis - violating their oaths of office. Thy're not charged with the crimes they are committing. Why?
@@TheHawkeye50317 because of the very nature of government- do as I say not as I do
Well, to be honest the way the architects of the Constitution set it up we the people are supposed to be holding them accountable, hence the guns and all. Do you recall the phrase the blood of tyrants?
@@survivalinthecity44 yes, I do. You are right.
"We might piss some people off with this..." is exactly what I expect to hear with this podcast.
"You're not bad looking. You're just fat."
Is something that only comes from a brother.🤣😂🤣😂
You know they're brothers because he laughed after he said that. If they weren't theres a chance that he would laughing
Haha
This was comforting to listen to. There are still rational, logical humans in the world with integrity despite allllll of the chaos.
I would love for these guys to get Colion Noir on here as a guest.
Yes
As a police officer for a number of years in the St. Louis city, defunding means less training and worse equipment. More funding gives more training for officers and better communication with the community, not to mention special units that apprehend the violent criminals.
Mattis pressured the commander of the Force Recon Battalion in "Generation Kill" to take entire fortified towns with lightly armed and unarmored recon troops. Aside from that headline story, Mattis relieved a USMC Lt Col battalion commander, because he was being too methodical in achieving his objectives (and protecting his Marines). You see, Mattis wanted to beat the Army to Baghdad, and to prove his pet concept of "maneuver warfare", despite not having the logistical backbone of the US Army supporting his drive to the Iraqi capitol.
I’m a former Texas police officer, I got out because of bad management and politicians, I’m glad these men are talking about it and bringing light to it.
Great show guys. Luv u? 🇺🇸♥️
thanks guys. the voices that hold the most value for the success of a people are of those of our elders and warriors.
Why do you need a fire extinguisher in your house? Just call the fire department.
I went through Marine Corps Boot Camp in 1983. I had Drill Instructors tear me a new one many times. I actually got a green stick fracture in my ankle by a grenade body thrown at me and gutted it out. I agree you have to take a lot of shit to give hell to the enemy.. There was a POS that filed a complaint against one of my DI's. I was asked into the investigation and the LT in charge asked me if I had seen anything and I said no sir! He said "you didn't see the DI cuss or strike the recruit?" I said no I saw a dedicated marine trying to turn a civilian pile of crap into the tip of the spear!'
@EvanHafer ...the answer to the question you posed -why isn’t anyone going after the politicians and just the police- is found in the defense mechanism of displacement . (psychology is my ‘second’ career) Displacement causes a person to redirect the negative feelings they experience in a particular situation with another person to a person who is a ‘lesser’ threat. A good example is someone who has an issue with the boss. They can’t unload on the boss, so the person gets home and takes the frustration out on their family member.
When I was a police officer e used to call ourselves ‘professional punching bags.’ The politicians running Baltimore are corrupt. That corruption bled into every aspect of city government. Police were often projected upon (another defense mechanism) and the blamed for all the city’s woes and those feelings became displaced onto the police. Politicians are often narcissistic and Machiavellian...
Love the podcast
I was never involved with SOC, and in CS. Was stationed in Germany when a new private arrived and pulled out his Stress Card. We E-4’s ripped it up. He went crying to the platoon sergeant, who told him to grow up.
My buddy was a Marine D.I in the early 90's under Clinton. I called him as soon as I heard that. I was told it was a pink card, he corrected me, he said it was a red card and they had to leave the recruit alone for 15 minutes. He and I were in the Marine Corps Infantry in the 80's and I couldn't believe what I heard.
Officer401 would be awesome to have here as a guest.
That was great to hear you all talk about what we've been struggling with too and I feel about the same way. We live in the greatest country in the world and people don't appreciate what we've got!
ODA 555 was hit by a friendly JDAM. General Mattis refused to allow a Marine helicopter to casevac them, even though they were closest. Instead, the Air Force had to send a Pave Hawk from K2 in Uzbekistan, by which time the casualties died (needlessly). ODA Commander, Captain Amerine stated definitively that those men would have lived with timely evac.
I thought we lived in a constitutional republic. Have I been misinformed my entire life?
You guys are fantastic!
Most of what the military does is not "hazing" it is "excellence through humiliation."
Finally , You four. Shit , I've been waiting for this one "like where the fuck are these guys at " !? #CAF
I love this podcast
Truth is, not enough Politically strong men left to step up and admit the mistakes. In 2/7, and I'm guessing similar situations for you dudes as well, the leaders take the blame for any of thier boots or peers mistakes. 2/7 MAC Fallujah 07', Weapons/Fox Afghan 08', leadership fails your subordinates fail. Obama gave 2000 weapons to the cartels, 1 billion in cash to Iran, and 2300 uparmored humvees to Isis. Time to take responsibility. Mayor's are failing, so their police are slipping up.
Marjah, early 2011, 3/9. I got Page 11’d for NOT COMPLETING AN MCI COURSE on the one computer we had in the FOB. I was not the only Marine in the Plt who refused to do it. We were preoccupied with other activities...
Tim y’all replaced us right?
As a cherry at Bragg I was stuffed inside a sleeping bag and dragged down the halls and thrown into the walls. Then hung outside the 2nd floor window. Because I didn't cry about it or turn anyone in I was accepted and never screwed with again.
You guys are on fire tonight! Love it!
Would love for you to do a good better best senator for inner city survival techniques, the how to and best case scenario. With everything you can think of.
We had the "Tacking on" of stripes in the USAF. Those the same rank or higher punching your new stripes on to your arm. Man, when I made E-5 Staff Sergent my arms were bruised for daaaays. Only once did I see a lower ranked Airman(cocky bastard, no one really liked him) attempt to tack on a Sergent's new stripes. Home boy about got laid out. Other than that we had the "Short timer nuke." Which usually consisted of being tied up with duct tape and every condiment with in a mile radius poured on you while you laid in a man made mud puddle. Ears were the favorite target for Mustard.
I was 5'4 and skinny stayed getting smoked and in chow overloaded my plate, had to eat it all 3 times a day.
YOU FELLAS ARE ALL BAD ASS!! Keep up the GREAT WORK!!
Great logical conversation. Keep it coming.
Had an RDC at Great Lakes make me eat twice as much as the rest of my division because, and I quote... "You're a skinny little turd." It worked, I went from 115 to 150 lbs in 9 weeks.
WHAT I WOULDN’T GIVE for just one of you to come to my fire department to explain what hazing is and isn’t and the art of holding people accountable. God.
I've been the fat kid in the infantry. 6'1" 275lbs when I was in battleschool. I passed the pt tests above average in everything but running (fuckin gravity). As long as you can do the job and never be a hindrance on your guys then it's all good. I just told the guys that if I ever went down to just use me for cover lol.
Common sense is an uncommon virtue. Great show as always.
Too many people have no concept of individual responsibility. Fix that, and things get better.
I completely agree that people need to remember they signed up for war essentially. However, times have changed and I know a lot of people who've admitted to only joining the military for a free education or just another thing to check off on a resume. There was no sense of patriotism. That's especially prevalent with these younger generations so I pray for our military in the future.
Anything in the works for a FRA mug?
Stress cards are the biggest and longest running rumor in basic training land. I heard about these mysterious cards when I went through basic in 1997 and again when I was a Drill Sergeant in 2010. I never actually saw any evidence of their existence. Blood rack and badges are a right of passage. Unless you don't have the sack for that line of work, you probably felt super proud in that moment, not like you were hazed.
Mat Best for President
Great work guys! Now, please make a BRCC backpack!
I love the show it’s gotten me through a lot of long ass nights thank you guys
Can u do donut operator
Wrong website for that
You guys are great!
Good word sir, yes unfortunately we've forgotten that accountability flows up and responsibility flows downward
just finished osut, no stress cards
Is Mat cutting weight for a fight or something lol
He’s cutting weight to fight Demetrius Johnson
Yeah he looks like he's lost 20lbs
Its so he looks better in women's clothing. Lol
I KNOW! WHY DOES MAT LOOK SICK!?!?!?
Mat looks good. I believe he's just a keto nut. It comes and goes in us, in waves.
Every field grade at the shit hole, the 525 MI BDE
Hey you guys I’m gonna say this back in my day! Mat I went through Navy Bootcamp. I went through. In my Bootcamp if you didn’t have Thick skin you would be bleeding.
Jarred is way more informed and insightful than he comes off as in the funny stuff you make on the other channels.
Happy birthday Army
You need to get Angry Cops and Brandon Herrera on here
So many great points and truths being told here! Love you guys! When talking about defunding the police... how about being mad at people who resist arrest and get into these bad situations to begin with? Not that I am defending the pols as they have totally screwed up most US cities, but let's start with people breaking the law, and go from there.
I need that Phub rip
The pinning of Marine Corpe NCO Blood Stripes. Your fellow NCO's line up and you walk through the line as they knee your legs.
What happened to Article 15 website
I think Minneapolis is going to look like Mogadishu VERY soon!!
Is there a book or where can I get info on the russian stuff Evan was speaking about?
Check out Liberty Hound on RUclips or look up KGB Yuri interviews.
I appreciate this, I have said this since I served, the politicians are the problem, not the overwhelming majority of the police.
I am currently a MTI for Air Force basic training and there has never been such a thing as a stress card for trainees.
From Bush to Obama and Trump nothing has changed, more finger pointing and more division.
except one has only been around 3 years.
Yet Trump lowered taxes and democrats wanted to raise them.
@Chen Andrew You definetly have a higher IQ than most people. Stand strong and speak!!
when the two tribes come to together to exchange thoughts, the sages of baseball hat towards the front, and the savage harlequins of tribe caps backwards.
I think it's time for me to move out there, follow Donut Operator and all ya'll out there. Got any openings at BCC for a fat kid who wanted to join the military but never did? :)
If nah, I'll figure it out, but maybe it's time to move out there. I lived in Chicago for years, that place was as close to chaos as anything, and now they want to take away the cops? Hell no, I won't get within 100 miles of the place if they defund the cops in that city...
Where’s the hodgetwins?
Mat seems much more relaxed now that their gone😂😂😘
While in Iraq, I had a CSM inform me that I needed to keep my sleeves "bloused" on my FR ACUs inside the wire in 115 degree heat in case a mortar landed near me. That way the flame wouldn't go up my sleeve and burn me. I did not point out to the CSM that if a mortar landed near me, I had greater concerns with the little bits of metal flying around!
I couldn't agree with you more regarding politics. Out in the world, people are losing their minds. Great to listen to reasonable people who have experience to back up their opinions. Evan for President!
That Dowd sounds like a stand up guy! Read his letter after yas brought it up. He was spot on with that letter!!
The current riots/protests keep reminding of a clip from Dragnet.
This is not a related comment to the podcast but that new commercial with Evan and his daughter was awesome. As a father who raised a daughter who is a pretty good shot herself. Well done gentleman, I actually enjoy your commercials and I hate commercials.
I experienced similar circumstances. I was a truck mechanic in the USMC and on real busy days of repairing trucks so the Force Recon operators could go train, I would stay in my greasy dirty coveralls and go to chow. I would get grief from some officer for it. Other officers in my unit would just salute back and allow me to carry on.
when's the interview with the guy that reclaimed the Seattle Police AR's from the looters?
Look up CarryTrainer on RUclips
@@brantleyhester6641 that interview was pretty awkward
It’s over on Coffee Or Die
@@willwork9349 Yep
I was in a fraternity in college. If what I went through was hazing I’d do it again in a heartbeat! I feel real hazing is something that can be described as “the most fun you never want to have again.”
Hell yea ! If they defund there should Consequences for their decision. Anyone hurt or killed, raped or robbed they should be charged at the least with accessory to the crime because they enabled it !
Where can we buy the black rifle coffee shirt Jared Taylor is wearing? It’s not on the site
got my blood wings / stress cards are real got in trouble when I told a student to get that shit away from me
JT 57:20 min - my response. I'm buying it. It makes a hell of a lot of sense actually.
Y’all should work with Terrence popp. Would be one hell of a conversation. Merica thanks you.
Do you guys remember the movie Wyatt Earp starring Kevin Costner? Wyatt Earp was fired from Dodge City and they had a kinder, friendlier Town Marshal who was murdered. Wyatt Earp received a telegram asking him to return to restore order. This is what I believe will have to happen.
Great episode, but I think having a couple cops on with you may have made this even better.
The visual format used in the ep is the most pleasing to the eye of any podcast I watch. It keeps getting better every episode. As always love the conversation when you’re all together 💛
Funny that anti AR15 Joe Biden puts commercials on a Black Rifle channel
Poleece that moostache!
you look like elvises
Military discipline and Military bearing are useless in modern warfare even in strategic units. These two things were the largest distractions from the mission at hand.
You guys need to get Dave Smith from Part of the Problem on
@32:32 If you want to hold politicians accountable, you first have to record their activity. When congress votes and doesn't record who voted for or against... How can you decide if they are doing anything?
JT you are not fat you are fluffy and like a grizzly bear.
❤️ BRCC❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️I’m a retired Baltimore police officer..thank God.... Stress cards...my husband is a retired Army Master Sergeant and said stress cards were a real thing!!!! ❄️💩 He said a private pulled a stress card on him after being reprimanded when he (my husband) was a Sgt.....Husband says it functioned like the old fashioned ‘mood ring’ - you put your fucking finger on it and it read body temperature to indicate stress levels.....😂🤣😳. He said his 1SG asked what was going on and my husband filled him in....needless to say 1SG took that stress card and provided MORE corrective training to the private~~~~~that was 1995 in 82nd Airborne...
We didn’t have stress cards in OSUT at Ft. Benning.
Stress cards was a real pc thing for years
Public service announcement : Sticker club is LEGIT folks. received my first envelope a few days ago and the stickers are FIRE ! The one on Logan's Laptop is one of them . very cool idea !
That is all , carry on !
Can Tennessee join Texas once shit its the fan?
BAZAARO WORLD!!! I say this every day!!
Fat shaming is a good thing, it's motivational.
Spot on brothers ...and Matt This Great state of Texas will be is own country push come to Shove
I’m not a fan of hazing, but it’s an important part of military life, and should be
“Hard and nasty” great quote lol
Is the Black Rifle shirt JT’s wearing available on the website?
Yes Blackriflecoffee.com/jt
Even - a city in Minneapolis :)
Back in 96' they gave us "blues cards" in navy boot. Basically a stress card. One guy pulled it and got recycled. Navy boot was nothing!
The last time I was pulled over was 2007 and he told me I was drunk. The funny thing was that I was drunk.
