Your Chatelaine is stunning. I agree with you about the Delica beads, I stitched a lot of jewelry using beads and Delica’s were the number one choice for beads. Happy stitching.

Where did you buy your Chatêlaine pattern? Did you buy a kit? Where do you get your delica beads? That piece is so gorgeous! You are meticulous about your stitches. I love how you discuss that in your videos!! Beautiful projects! Thank you!

I do NOT LIKE Mill Hill beads! Why? Pices I've stitched 10-15 years ago, the beads have changed colors!!! The metallic beads with silver in the middle, the outside color has disappeared and all you see is the silver in the center!
The Mill Hill Santa pattern I believe from 2006 you showed the other day/video, ALL beads have changed from white to silver, the white completely disappeared! However, my DMC floss yellowed as well! Humidity! It was not covered with glass - I don't believe it would have mattered. We were renting a manufactured him for about 20 years, under and around our house turned into swamp here in Michigan - meaning major moisture issues! The DMC floss also yellowed! The perforated paper disintegrated! It's so fragile - I'll NEVER stitch on it again, either! I AM thinking Delica beads may be much better quality!!!! Based upon the reasoning I just gave! Nope, not happy with Mill Hill beads at all.
PS. The landlord where we lived and why we moved (best decision ever!!!!) didn'tcare our house was sinking into a swamp!!!! OR that the land turned back into the swamp it originally was! That entire neighborhood went to pots!!! The original landlord died leaving it to their son and daughter - THEY were the ones who were more concerned about making and saving money rather than reinvesting it into their properties so people had an enjoyable home to live in! Pathetic money-hungry KIDS!!!! LIVE AND LEARN!!!!!!
