    The first time I visited Florida, we flew in at night and driving up the highway I put my window down to smell the tropical air. I got a whiff of a beautiful floral fragrance. I asked what it was and our driver said "orange blossoms ." It was so beautiful. I wish I could grow orange trees here in Atlantic Canada.

    Made the blend with orange and cardamon with coconut oil, adding a drop of tamala oil gave it a wonderful, delicate scent. Also learned somewhere that Black Spruce oil can be relieving for indigestion. Added a drop when applying to my belly, seemed so calming and relaxing. Thanks, these blends sound amazing!💜

    Hi Andrea, how do I use this essencial blends, diffuse them, or applying on my skin?

    • @aromatherapyoils
      @aromatherapyoils  5 лет назад

      Edyta, the Natural Pain Relief blend and the Reduce Swelling blend are topical applications. The Feeling Uplifted blend is an inhaler blend. You can read more about each blend here on the Aromahead Blog: blog.aromahead.com/how-to-use-orange-essential-oil-nl

      Hi Barbi! Orange is such a bright and cheery essential oil, I ❤️ it too!!
      I am very happy to share resources with you.
      You can find graduate cylinders here: amzn.to/2H8gujamzn.to/2H8gujQQ
      Aromatics carries glass stir rods: www.aromatics.com/products/stir-rods
      They have bottles and jars too!
      The extra special fun stirs are something I often find on Amazon and I search swizzle sticks to find them.
      I hope this helps! If you need other resources, let us know!

    A very informative video. thanx! Andrea. I have a question pls, instead of the inhaler for the Feeling uplifted blend, it is more effective for me to use on the skin (I have alllergy and rinitis so I hardly smell anything cause my nose is always blocked) so how should I make this blend? where should I apply it? and if I do not have Neroli, which other E.O I can replace it with? Thanx!

    • @aromatherapyoils
      @aromatherapyoils  5 лет назад

      Hi pa ola! Any floral aroma you enjoy would be in place of Neroli. Some suggestions are Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), Ylang Ylang (Cananga odorata) or Jasmine absolute (Jasminum grandiflorum)
      You could transform the Feeling Uplifted! blend into a lovely body oil like this:
      1 oz (30) ml of Jojoba
      7 drops Bergamot essential oil (Citrus bergamia)
      4 drops Orange essential oil (Citrus sinensis)
      1 drop floral essential oil of your choice

    I love the belly blend! Speaking of belly blends could you do a video on essential oils that help with irregular periods, perimenopause etc? I know geranium is pretty much a go to for balancing hormones but this is driving me crazy. No way puberty was this bad!! Or maybe it was 😂😂😂 Thanks Andrea, you're such a lovely, warm person 💕💕

    • @aromatherapyoils
      @aromatherapyoils  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Kirsty! There are several essential oils that can help ease unwelcome muscle spasms, like menstrual cramps. You might try 2 drops each of Lavender and Roman Chamomile in an a teaspoon of unscented lotion and gently massage onto your belly when cramping begins.
      When it comes to hormones, it's a complex issue, and individual situation must be evaluated and perhaps some of the peripheral issues can be addressed with oils. Essential oils are not used for affecting the hormones directly, but can be used to reduce stress, improve sleep, reduce some of the uncomfortable symptoms. Some oils we can suggest are Frankincense, Myrrh, Geranium, Rose, and Neroli to help you feel calm and balanced.
      We would suggest seeing an acupuncturist or naturopath to create a bigger picture plan for supporting and balancing your hormones.

    What could you use if Neroli is too strong for you

    • @aromatherapyoils
      @aromatherapyoils  Год назад

      Great question! If the aroma of Neroli is too strong for you, you could try Neroli/Petitgrain Co-Distill (Citrus aurantium var amara) or Bergamot Mint (Mentha citrata) instead 💜
