Is there going to be a plastic version that doesn't cost $1500? I'm getting tired of the influx of aftermarket carbon fiber intakes that do little besides look cool at a cars and coffee. I'd wrap the intake in HVAC tape to reflect heat anyway, for actual functionality. Weight difference between plastic and carbon is negligible, and the 'carbon is more heat resistant' excuses hold no water, because you can keep heat soak at bay with a larger, more efficient intercooler.
Even in carbon fiber it’s still overpriced. It probably cost them less then $200 in materials to make these. And of course it’s being somewhat mass produced as well so even cheaper for them to make.
Great job! Good content! Just what I want to hear!

Ironically CF does hold more water

Yes, this one is too expensive for what it is. I'm also hearing about check engine lights with this one.

What do you recommend if mine is making a whistling noise like someone blowing over a bottle
