There is only one thing wrong with your videos Chris and that is they are not long enough!😁 I really enjoy your informative and calm presentation. The only issue I have had this year with germination is the spring onions. I guess that's the cold too. Look forward to your next video 😊😊

Thanks for the feedback Sue and I’ll try and make them a little longer. I had that issue with the onions too although the heat mat seemed to do the trick. The lounge is acting as a mini nursery at the moment 🫣 hopefully it’ll warm up soon.

@@veggieplot maybe I should sew some more onions and keep them indoors? Let's hope it warms up.and everything can romp away when planted out!! 😄

I agree with that although Scotland looks like it’ll be 20 degrees by the weekend, a great deal warmer than here. It all seems topsy turvy at the moment.

Great timing as I was about to plant my Courgettes today but didn't get round to it and never bothered growing them as I've always grown pumkins and cucambers and never had the space for them so will give them a go this year.
Everything is quite slow in my garden and some of my early sowings failed like Parsnips and my Broadbeans got destroyed with wind.

Parsnips can be tricky and my broadbeans aren't the best this year either, so I know how you feel. I think it was the cold and I should have placed them on a heat mat to get them going. Good luck with the courgettes, they're a super veg to eat when small and straight off the plant.

Your polytunnel looks wonderful. My second lot of Sweetcorn this spring have just given up life after a promising start, I think I overwatered them as they looked as healthy as yours until they went limp and died. The previous 2 years I had no trouble and beautiful cobs. I am going in for a 3rd. attempt as they are the favourite crop in my town garden. Thanks for another lovely video.

Thank you Brenda. I hope your next batch of sweetcorn do better. I think they can be affected by the cold too and if wet might suffer. I know what you mean about a favourite, you can't beat fresh sweetcorn off the plant. Happy gardening 🌱

Hi Sandrine, yes, last week. Thank you so much. I couldn’t find if you’d like some that I have but if you do, just let me know. You sent over a great selection and I shall get them all going in the next week or two. I haven’t quite figured out how to see replies to replies here on YT, it seems so convoluted!
