Thank you! It's just like bringing my dealer home with me. Had a few rough patches but I persevered. I used paper surgical tape on the bottom corners instead of glue. It worked like a charm and freed me to only using one pin on the top layer. Now I'm excited to make some mug rugs and table runners--not much of a quilter.
I have this binder and am still working on the needle placement from the inside edge of the binding. It seems that the setting is -1.8? Love the product and strive to become Very Good with my perfection. Thank you I have watched this video at least once a month...
Great instructions, as usual, Sara. I'm going to bind some of my Cosmos blocks individually, so maybe I'll get this accessory. Please tell me what you do with the extra thread at the corners?
Though this apparatus is cool in theory, it still does not give you the nice double fold edge binding that quilters like to use. This is a single edge fold which will wear out much faster and not traditional, now it would really be awesome if they could figure out a way to double fold the binding
I didn’t really like the finish, I’d prefer to measure, make the closing seam as usual. But I wonder whether this device could then wrap and stitch that to bind the join? Just not use the feeder
I agree with you lynn, quilts need to have a double fold binding and this apparatus does not do a double fold binding and I sure wish it did. I do not want my quilt bindings to wear out and with this method they will
Hi Dee, I think Sara said no. In that you would need to buy an extra "plate" that has 2 holes on it to screw the binding gadget on it...I realise this answer is very late...hope you have managed. Marietta, Brisbane
Este accesorio es demasiado caro (+$180) y aun no hace un excelente trabajo. Es muy difícil para que la costura no quede chapucera. Lo siento, demasiado dinero y muchas expectativas
Talking way to much I’m sorry but when your teaching and someone wants to learn. Less is more.. by the time your getting to what to do my head is spinning by not keeping on the subject at hand maybe doing two things at once instead of spending so much time talking I’m sorry but it was super irritating
Thank you - I just signed up for the Stitching Cosmos Online Course.

I liked everything until the final join. Great tutorial, thanks.

The instructions called for a 3 inch strip which does result in the double fold. Still practicing on the corners!
Love your video. Always need hints for those corners. However, I don’t like how you finish the join. I prefer to do a 45 degree join.
Can I use this binder on the Pfaff Coverlock 4? I have been looking for one
It's price please

Loved the tutorial. Will this work on Expression 710, and Where can I buy it?
Hi all, Is it possible to use a double layer binding? All of my quilts are bound with a double fold binding.
The quilt binder accessory is completely different than a French fold quilt binding.

I can't seem to find this item for sale anywhere. What's up with that?
Will this work on the Quilt Ambition 2.0?????
Does this fit the quilt ambition 620?
What are inches of strings?
3 inches
Will this work on older Pfaffs?

Does this work for pfaff creative 1.5
Sorry, the Pfaff Quilt Binder does not fit on the Pfaff creative 1.5
does it work on a Passport 3.0?
Sorry this does not fit on a Pfaff Passport.

Is this single fold binding like bias tape?
yes
2 days-practiced 12 corners-impossible!! Binded my quilt “traditional” in 45 min. Great idea, but SO not worth the learning curve. So disappointed....
Your hands are in the way… I can’t see what you are doing.
Is this an update from the one you did before? I STILL can’t do corners
This is a new video on the Pfaff quilt binder. We did a Viking quilt binder video earlier. Keep practicing!
Mary Denney did you ever master those corners?
