Hihi! I'm seeing a lot of people ask about Tsubasa comps. With Alyss x Saki as constants, you have: Frigg comp (128514%), Lin comp (119504%), and Tsubasa comp (99832%) On paper, Tsubasa A6 turns out to be better than Lin A5 (93746%), but not as good as Frigg A3 (110464%). Hope that clears some things up! Also, as you may have noticed, I've been experimenting with different methods of visualizing the data, using a lot more graphs instead of tables this time. What are your thoughts on this? I've heard some people mention they want to still see the numbers, but in some cases, that could lead to a lot of bloat on the screen that's not pleasing to look at. For those who wanted a closer look at the matrix numbers, though: [DPM Values in A6 Lin team, adding the following matrix] Saki 4pc 0*: 129654% Saki 4pc 3*: 150105% Claudia 4pc 0*: 128521% Claudia 4p 3*: 145536% Alyss 4p 0*: 148205% Alyss 4p 3*: 164712% These values are assuming a base attack of 20000 for 3* matrix stats.
Great vid! Wish you had covered more on who to equip which matrix on optimally, say if you have 0* 4 pc saki, 4 pc alyss and 3rd set of f2p matrices. Also Tsubasa A6 more detailed info would of been nice... not sure if it's worth replacing her for A1 Frigg in this team. You're pretty much the only consistent theorycrafter content creator for ToF in English, so it's mostly on you to cover all the fine details for the community... I wouldn't worry about vid bloat too much as this is your target audience and what we are here for, the more relevant detailed info the better.

I Love theres F2P Team comparison, because majority of the players cannot afford to max characters, much more the matrices. Thank so you much for the effort💙
@@BitterLime1 not true, if you really but your focus on one element and get the best equipment stats you will deal a great amount of DMG, for me my frost team all at A1 when i join with whales i ended up with top 4 or 3 in DMG list out of 8. Also me and my friends not whales we can easily finish all 5 chest of frontier clash at hard. in the end no one should tell u to switch support , there is also whales love to play as support so leave that role if u don't like it.
@@C4Legend_ f2p player mostly aiming for dps when rolling, which lacking in support. Support healing without neme or lyra are absolute garbage, close to non exist. Some whaler doesn't mind a bit longer fight as long as it guarantee win without a lot of dying by playing support.
@@C4Legend_ You gotta realize that there are some casuals out there who simply can't grind as much as other players. This game is not casual friendly compared to other gacha games. If you're casual f2p, which I'm sure Chev4 is trying to say, then it's true that letting whales carry is the easier solution. Grinding as f2p can seem like doing a Surgeon's work for Mcdonald's pay. It's too much effort, very "sweaty", and you gain little in return. But this isn't a problem for hardcore players (go touch grass /s) when the game allows whales to do so much more damage than f2p in team content (more so than other gacha games), it feels pointless to do any grinding. Just play support and have people carry to clear content for you. It's a very nihilistic perspective which is how I feel about the game. I consider myself casual f2p and it's pretty tempting to quit because of this plus a plethora of other problems I won't delve into here

Thanks for the info, Maygii! This gave me the numbers I needed to confirm that A; my Frigg will still be stronger and remain on my team and, B; because of that. Pulling A0 Alyss will be viable for improving my frost comp further until I snipe an A1.

Right now I'm A2 Alyss no matrices and 12k DC/0 Red Nuc/0 Special Voucher left with 70 Flame Gold and 50 Overclocking Chips. Am I best to go for Alyss 4 piece at 0 * or just dump into Alyss copies and run Samir/Crow on her?

I believe when doing long content 0* lin matrices exceeds 3* shiro matrices right. Currently im working towards 3* (samir/shiro) alyss, 4pc 3* shiro on lin and 0* 4pc lin on saki. This is amazing and a life-saver! I'm happy it seems I won't have to substitute my Frigg for Lin! There's something I'm a bit confused about and I might be missing something here, but on the rotation part, I don't understand why you'd want to start with [Frigg > Saki] skills when you can't pre-stack Saki. Aren't you missing out on two Alyss' Supports by doing that? And afterwards can't you just DPS normally with 3 Saki stacks until Alyss' skill is back and then you can [Alyss > Frigg > (reset) > Frigg > Saki > Alyss] skills again?

Saki matrices work from any weapon, and since Alyss gets the most field time out of Frost, you should put the DPS matrices on her! Saki matrices can go on the other weapons that you don't spend as much time on.

Yo igual soy f2p y estoy en el piso 380 de fantasma, tengo a: Saki A1 / Matriz de Shiro (romper escudo) y samir Alyss A2 /Matriz de Samir y Cuervo Lin A0/ Matriz de Huma y King / si xD Uso la habilidad de Simulacrum de Alyss. Creo que es cosa de rotación, jugar rápido y usar buenas reliquias. En mi caso uso el escudo de omnio que maximice gracias a la isla artificial (la tienda da caja de reliquia SSR) y el holograma para hacer un doble, así repites las habilidades no solo con saki sino también con clon. También hace poco probé usando la botella que dan los gachas que da buff de hielo sirven cuando no puedo pasar un piso por pocos segundos. Cómo extra es bueno intentar llegar a los pisos que terminen en 5 para que luego al hacer salto te toque un boss, es más fácil de matar que los mobs. 👍🏻
@@dmy2989 i dont't understand since you speak spanish but no worries, luckily i have DeepL here, but not that many days ago i got to Floor 381th and stop there for now, but it was due to "Jump" next floors, so like from 360th which is stop, it choose me to jump to 371 then after that to 380th. and yeah really suck at rotation sometimes, since im a fast presser and i kinda like hurrying to much, sometimes i click what skills or ultimate are available, knowing my characters are not even A6 lel Will give that hologram a try if can, since i always use the Couant I (not the II from BP since i don't buy that) and the Shield (already MAx). I just don't want to stress myself on this one, as long as i get some items in the Sequential Phantasm, since my server is very active (Aeria in SEA), im very easil kick off, which is okay, can't blame about it.
Hey Maygi, amazing video! I especially love the transition animations and that you breakdown the rotations, as I had no idea what was optimal. Kinda just went unga bunga mode. That said, I'm not really certain which matrices should be going on who or why, and I'm finding that responses to other people asking the same question either aren't giving me all of the information I'm looking for, or I'm not understanding properly. My Saki, Frigg, and Lin are all A6 with 0*4pc (with Saki 2pc being 1*), I have Claudia 0*4pc, and then I have Samir/Shiro at 1*/2*. My Alyss is A3 atm with only 1/4 for matrices, but I will be A6+0*4pc before the banner ends. What would be my ideal setups for both Frigg and Lin teams until/once I have my A6 + 4pc and why?

I'm glad you liked it ^^ and yes, unga bunga mode actually does work quite well in a Lin team, and when i was initially testing it I was like "wait so I just smash my head into all the cooldowns here right" LMAO (though it turned out there were small optimization points that could be made...) Anyway! I would lean towards the Lin team for the sole reason that Lin 4p is stronger than Frigg 4p, but really, this comes down to preference - a lot of people were eager to swap Lin out back for Frigg because Lin's backwards teleportation is really annoying in several scenarios. Also, any content with +Frost Damage benefits Frigg even more!

Math is what I wanted - Maygi, I have a question: I currently Have Frigg (A2), Saki (A6) & Tsubasa (A6) along with Claudia’s Matrices 4x (All are 3 stars) - I am torn between Frigg and Alyss, should I A6 my Frigg or get an A6 Alyss and replace Frigg with her? Ah, that's because the example teams I used included a Fire hybrid comp (which contains Claudia), but not for Volt or Frost (as running hybrid as F2P for those comps doesn't typically work out as well). In a team scenario, ofcourse you will benefit from other grievous effects! But this is just a comparison of individual damage~
Hi Maygi, appreciate the info and calcs a lot. Just a quick question in regard to your Claudia matrices segment starting at 7:45~ - is the visual comparison vs. Saki matrices 2p vs 2p or 4p vs 4p? Although the 4p discharge buff is additive, rather than multiplicative, would the dpm% not increase the most due to the discharge-spammy nature Frost currently has?

Just to clarify, the DPS chart at 0:25 is just the values of those characters while they're DPS-ing on field, right? Just curious how much of an increase Alyss provides to the overall team DPS compared to non-Alyss Frost teams.

I just punched the numbers into your amazing calculator and A1 Alyss would provide just a sliiiight increase over my current team, so I'll skip for now, and consider pulling her at high advancements next time! Sadly when it comes to actual hard coop content those advice don't matter, just get a whale to carry is the solution and the f2p switch to support.

I have A6 Lin, Saki, Frigg Using 3* Lin, Saki, Samir/Crow. Right now I'm A2 Alyss no matrices and 12k DC/0 Red Nuc/0 Special Voucher left with 70 Flame Gold and 50 Overclocking Chips.
Am I best to go for Alyss 4 piece at 0 * or just dump into Alyss copies and run Samir/Crow on her?
I'd skip the matrices and just go for Alyss copies! Samir/Crow really isn't bad at all compared to Alyss 0*~

@Maygi Hi hi, idk if I will get an answer but in general is it worth swapping out 4pc 3* shiro matrices ---> 0* 4pc lins matrics? I believe when doing long content 0* lin matrices exceeds 3* shiro matrices right.
Currently im working towards 3* (samir/shiro) alyss, 4pc 3* shiro on lin and 0* 4pc lin on saki.
Or maybe 4pc 0* lin on alyss, 4pc 3* shiro on lin and 3* (king/samir) on saki?
I dont atually have alyss nor saki yet. Im waiting for their rerun when icarus drops.

There's something I'm a bit confused about and I might be missing something here, but on the rotation part, I don't understand why you'd want to start with [Frigg > Saki] skills when you can't pre-stack Saki. Aren't you missing out on two Alyss' Supports by doing that? And afterwards can't you just DPS normally with 3 Saki stacks until Alyss' skill is back and then you can [Alyss > Frigg > (reset) > Frigg > Saki > Alyss] skills again?

I kindly ask for your advice on something: I have 4pc 0* Saki matrices, which I currently use on Lin. Do you think it’s worth to use it on Alyss now, or do I stick with DPS matrices for her?
Saki matrices work from any weapon, and since Alyss gets the most field time out of Frost, you should put the DPS matrices on her! Saki matrices can go on the other weapons that you don't spend as much time on.
still understanding and searching comps and rotations (well, im not a good in rotations sometimes need to memorize what these do, i only know is spammage or worst, forgotten sometimes haha XD)
since im a f2p user and only have these chars as my frost main: (matrices can be swapped depending on char i want)

Saki A1 / Matriz de Shiro (romper escudo) y samir
Alyss A2 /Matriz de Samir y Cuervo
Lin A0/ Matriz de Huma y King / si xD
Uso la habilidad de Simulacrum de Alyss.
Creo que es cosa de rotación, jugar rápido y usar buenas reliquias. En mi caso uso el escudo de omnio que maximice gracias a la isla artificial (la tienda da caja de reliquia SSR) y el holograma para hacer un doble, así repites las habilidades no solo con saki sino también con clon.
También hace poco probé usando la botella que dan los gachas que da buff de hielo sirven cuando no puedo pasar un piso por pocos segundos.
Cómo extra es bueno intentar llegar a los pisos que terminen en 5 para que luego al hacer salto te toque un boss, es más fácil de matar que los mobs. 👍🏻
@@dmy2989 i dont't understand since you speak spanish but no worries, luckily i have DeepL here, but not that many days ago i got to Floor 381th and stop there for now, but it was due to "Jump" next floors, so like from 360th which is stop, it choose me to jump to 371 then after that to 380th.
and yeah really suck at rotation sometimes, since im a fast presser and i kinda like hurrying to much, sometimes i click what skills or ultimate are available, knowing my characters are not even A6 lel
Will give that hologram a try if can, since i always use the Couant I (not the II from BP since i don't buy that) and the Shield (already MAx).
I just don't want to stress myself on this one, as long as i get some items in the Sequential Phantasm, since my server is very active (Aeria in SEA), im very easil kick off, which is okay, can't blame about it.
Hey Maygi, amazing video! I especially love the transition animations and that you breakdown the rotations, as I had no idea what was optimal. Kinda just went unga bunga mode. That said, I'm not really certain which matrices should be going on who or why, and I'm finding that responses to other people asking the same question either aren't giving me all of the information I'm looking for, or I'm not understanding properly.
My Saki, Frigg, and Lin are all A6 with 0*4pc (with Saki 2pc being 1*), I have Claudia 0*4pc, and then I have Samir/Shiro at 1*/2*. My Alyss is A3 atm with only 1/4 for matrices, but I will be A6+0*4pc before the banner ends. What would be my ideal setups for both Frigg and Lin teams until/once I have my A6 + 4pc and why?

I'm glad you liked it ^^ and yes, unga bunga mode actually does work quite well in a Lin team, and when i was initially testing it I was like "wait so I just smash my head into all the cooldowns here right" LMAO (though it turned out there were small optimization points that could be made...)
Anyway! I would lean towards the Lin team for the sole reason that Lin 4p is stronger than Frigg 4p, but really, this comes down to preference - a lot of people were eager to swap Lin out back for Frigg because Lin's backwards teleportation is really annoying in several scenarios. Also, any content with +Frost Damage benefits Frigg even more!

I'd like to ask a question regarding the matrices. In my case I'm just a low spender. But I would love to take my frost team up a level. So I consider going for matrices this time around too. I don't know if I am lucky enough for a full 4 set, but well just starting on it should be fine :) I don't have any support matrices for frost yet so I kind of don't know which one would be better for me to invest in. Saki or Alice? Or even wait until Icarus? I don't want to make a mistake haha :D thanks in advance for any suggestion!
This is the best video I have seen related to Alyss, by far. Math is what I wanted - Maygi, I have a question: I currently Have Frigg (A2), Saki (A6) & Tsubasa (A6) along with Claudia’s Matrices 4x (All are 3 stars) - I am torn between Frigg and Alyss, should I A6 my Frigg or get an A6 Alyss and replace Frigg with her? The Alyss x Saki combo is really irreplaceable; I would recommend getting Alyss, and then Frigg to A3 if possible. You can use Saki + Alyss + Frigg A3, or Saki + Alyss + Tsubasa A6 - both are very good comps!

Frigg A0 over Lin A0; but if you have Tsubasa, that works fine too! 0* Frigg is a bit mediocre...
Why is the grievous bar only over physical and fire in the f2p comparison @ 12:50? Wouldn't that just be a flat 20% damage increase for any element?
Ah, that's because the example teams I used included a Fire hybrid comp (which contains Claudia), but not for Volt or Frost (as running hybrid as F2P for those comps doesn't typically work out as well). In a team scenario, ofcourse you will benefit from other grievous effects! But this is just a comparison of individual damage~

Hi Maygi, appreciate the info and calcs a lot. Just a quick question in regard to your Claudia matrices segment starting at 7:45~ - is the visual comparison vs. Saki matrices 2p vs 2p or 4p vs 4p? Although the 4p discharge buff is additive, rather than multiplicative, would the dpm% not increase the most due to the discharge-spammy nature Frost currently has?

Lin 6* without her matrices, Saki 3* with her 4 matrices, Frigg 3* without her matrices and Alyss 3* without her matrices, what do you think is the best composition for me? I barely wanna believe that using Frigg 3* is better than Lin 6* if that's the case I don't see why I spent on Lin haha

Since Saki matrix works completely off-field, put them on Saki herself, so you can put DPS matrices on Alyss!

In a Frigg team, you'll do: 2x Alyss, 2x Frigg, 1x Saki per rotation
In a Tsubasa team: 2x Alyss, 2x Tsubasa, 1x Saki

Just to clarify, the DPS chart at 0:25 is just the values of those characters while they're DPS-ing on field, right? Just curious how much of an increase Alyss provides to the overall team DPS compared to non-Alyss Frost teams.
Yes, it's just for on-field value! And she increases the ceiling by around 30% for Frost teams~
@@Maygi Thanks! I guess the improvement of A1 Alyss over A6 Tsubasa will be slightly lower than that. I'm currently running Lin/Saki/Tsubasa all at A6. I was thinking of skipping Alyss since I'll barely be able to get her to A1, but it looks like it might be worth it after all.
Edit: Ooooh, never mind! I just punched the numbers into your amazing calculator and A1 Alyss would provide just a sliiiight increase over my current team, so I'll skip for now, and consider pulling her at high advancements next time! Thanks again!

Just go for 4p insteas A3. A1 is enough
