I love how you break everything down dummy style for people like me. I know nothing about bows but have lately been looking into it a bunch. I get bunch of my knowledge on archery from you so keep it up. Thanks
Bro stutters and stumbles over multiple words in the first 1:30minutes. And you act like this guy is nearly a genius. God the internet is easily impressed.

That's a killer video man really informative and easy to understand! Just bought my first bow today and I am stoked to try and take down an elk in a few months! I better get practicing!
Thanks for posting these videos. My son (he's 11) shoots and took silver at Saskatchewan Provincials last weekend with a Quest Radical. I'm hoping to get myself a bow when funds allow just so he can teach me and shoot with him. You're videos have a lot of unbiased information, and you don't come across as cocky yet sound knowledgeable, which makes for a decent viewing experience. I'm glad I found your channel this morning.
I just bought my first bow about a month and half ago and I love it! It's a (hoyt) reflex -excursion with trophy ridge whisker biscuit, extreme multi pin sight, true fire release, 11 high grade arrows, and case for got it all for $150 off of ebay.
I watched your video about grip torque this mourning. I’ve struggled with consistency with my arrows for a while now. I tried some of your suggestions and I was amazed my arrows were flying like darts. Thank you
I have found your videos very informative. They have been very helpful in trying to make my voyage into the sport more successful. Thank you for posting them. I am just getting into the sport of bow hunting. I have always wanted to but just never had the time. I was looking at spending $500-800 on a mainline bow. I did a lot of reading and research about comparisons and reviews and I went to test some bows I went into it thinking I would probably choose a PSE Bruteforce/Bowmadness or a Hoyt Powermax probably sometime in the spring. I ended up buying a Diamond Deploy that same day. It wasn't even a bow on my radar until I started shooting. I shot it after shooting all the others and said this is my new bow, lol.
Sometimes buying it sooner rather than later helps. I got my green diamond prism for around 270-290 bucks, it was later raised to 349 by Lancaster Archery Supply...and that happened in 1 or 2 months...
All of your videos are great. Thank you for catering to the novice. I'm a long time gun hunter that wants to extend my season and your videos have been very helpful in picking out a bow. The only downside are your Penn State sweaters (Penguins are OK though). OSU! On the flip side: wish I could use a real rifle in OH like you can in PA. Great stuff! Keep it up.
Great info--thanks for taking the time to share your expertise. Minor suggestion: explain difference between "left hand" and "right hand" bows. I'm such an amateur, I wasn't sure which one I would need.
Jim Ru Normally a right handed person shoots a right handed bow. The bow itself is held in the left hand and drawn with the right. All the inverse is true for lefties. :)
Finally a Hoyt hat and a Penguins jersey!!! LOL I love my buddies elite though! Definitely on my radar. Picking up a infinite edge for my 10yo son tomorrow.
Great video. I’ve had my Craigslist bow for quite sometime now. Point Blank The New Wave is my bow now. looking forward to a Bear Cruzer G2 bow in the near future
Heavy draw weight, good. The main downside to low draw weights is unable to break bones. So, for the animals sake, shoot high as you're possibly able, comfortably, cuz we don't always make/have the perfect shot more often times than not.
there are also cam and 1/2 bows that are slightly different than dual cam bows. they have a bus cable and a control cable while dual cams have two bus cables and not control cable i believe. also binary cam is not the same as dual cam and binary cams i believe are similar to cam and 1/2 in the two cams are slaved together but different system
Really enjoying the videos. Been out of archery for a lonnnnggg time and I'm looking to buy a used bow. These videos have been extremely helpful. If I could suggest one thing, if you can put links to the products you speak to in each of your videos it would help your viewers. Maybe not even links, just the product names would be even more helpful. Again, great videos.
Hey man got an important question for ya! I found a new in box Hoyt Powermax on ebay for the same price as my local hoyt dealer. Free shipping too! Only difference is in the store id also be paying an extra $105 due to my states sales tax. The down side to the ebay bow is i dont think id be able to get hoyts warranty because they require purchase at a licensed hoyt dealer. Im brand new to archery and im wondering if the hoyt warranty is worth the extra money in my situation. Any advice would be helpful! Thanks!
In my world where money never seems to flow freely, I go used, second-hand, and cheaper. :) Hoyt has always stood by their product whether new or used, and I have had them do great things for me when I purchased bows without a warranty. Now, if you have a limb break or something catastrophic like that, you're outta luck. BUT, I've shot Hoyt bows since 2005 and have never had such a major repair needed. Thankfully, the Powermax isn't a flagship $1k bow, so if there is an issue you won't be out copious amounts of cash. So I'd go with eBay for now. Save the money and don't sweat the warranty just yet..
I am very knew to archery and recently bought a new bow I really like. ( bear vast 320fps ) draw weight 40/70 24 to 30 draw lenth decked out with limbsavers and string silencers truglo 5 pin carbon xs sight trophy ridge quick shot whisker biscuit and trophy ridge 5 shoot quiver. My draw weight is currently set at 65# at 29 inch draw lenth. I paid $275.00 out the door. The set it up and said 55 pound draw weight was not enough weight for me and cranked it up to 65# now I'm kinda wondering if I should turn it back down to probably 50 or 55 pound. It's a super nice bow really smooth and super quite and I have no problem hitting my targets at 30 and 40 yards but get pretty tired after the 10th shoot. I took out a nice 6 point last season with a 55 pound draw at 47 yards ( luck shot ) but I want my bow to be more comfortable and still powerful enough to take down a nice buck. What would you recommend me to do? Btw I love you videos they've helped me so much thank you
Back that sucker off!!! If you're not enjoying shooting because of too much poundage then turn it down until it's enjoyable again! Down to 45# and I would hesitate to take a shot at a whitetail at any normal hunting distance. Under that and you need to limit your range.
I bought a 2014 bow madness 32 on ebay for 250 and it came with almost everything I needed. I also found my dad a 2012 xforce axe7 that was loaded for 240! Sadly I think my dad's bow is better ;)
I’ve listening too much Joe Rogan lately hahaha and he spoke about hunting and shit but you video is helping out A LOT in me wanting to purchase a compound bow. Not expect by any means but I have fired before but I do think I should be looking at Youth bows for a novice shooter. Thanks man. Hope you’re well. Covid sucks!!? Lol
I bought a Blackout SS with other googdies for $420. After calculating the prices of the goodies and subtracting it from $420, my bow only costs $123. Yey!
Hello, I'd like your opinion on the Bear Cruzer please. Seems to be very adjustable. I have no clue on the draw weight or the inches setting for me. It comes as a package so the price is within my budget. I just don't know if this bow is still considered good if/when I get to be an intermediate shooter.
Hi Average Jack Archery! I have a random question. What kind of basic tools do you use when you work on your bows? I'm starting out in archery and a bit curious as to what goes into taking care of them as well as eventually doing my own upgrades :) Cheers
I was looking to get a compound bow but was hoping not to have to use a release. I have shot at a range a few times and will probably go to their pro shop to get the bow setup. Most of what I see recommend a 40 inch ata to minimize finger pinch. Any ideas without breaking the bank? New bows these days in that length seem to be high end. Any lower end in this length that you can think of? Thanks for any help, also nicely done videos.
Well you are certainly a trend setter! I don't think I've ever met a modern finger shooter with a compound! You are right, a long ATA is going to help, and unfortunately I'm unaware of anything 37" and longer that won't break the bank, and they are nowadays designed for high-end competitive archery.
@@averagejackarchery To me the release defeats the grab and go aspect of a bow. I will consider it though. I did find some sub 300 dollar Chinese compound bow package of over 40 inches, probably junk though. Thanks for the response!
Im 24 and would love to get into bow hunting.... Had a little used browning..... The thing exploded on me... I'm sure it was my fault... But i dont want to lose an arm and a leg to try to get into bow hunting.... What good but budget friendly bows are out there?
Good question! I would recommend a bow with higher adjustability to start out. So you can fiddle with poundage, draw length, etc. and really get it where you want it. Companies like Mission, BowTech, Bear, and Diamond make bows and package bow setups that fall in the $300-$500 range. All you need in a lot of those packages is arrows and broadheads for hunting. Hope that helps!
Hello, first I want to say that your channel is amazing. My wife wants to get into archery and there is a lot of things to learn. she has gone to few classes and loving it. Now I want to buy her a bow for Christmas and i would really appreciate your opinion. She isn't interested in hunting, just target shooting. I have been searching online for reviews and I have come down to few options: craze 2, pse madness and pse stinger x. would you give me your opinion please? thanks for your time.
Felipe Ramirez For a new archer such as your wife I would go with the Craze from Mission. Between the 3 options you listed there I think your wife would like the draw cycle of the Craze the most. I know a lot of people that like the Craze and love it's beginner-friendly shoot ability. Glad you enjoy the channel! God bless.
An Average Jack wow, thank you so so much for answering that fast, i sincerely appreciate it. Is funny bc the craze 2 is the one that she has taken the classes. In the same price range or maybe a bit more, is there other bow that you would recommend? thanks again for your time!!!
Full transparency, I'm not a fan of CX arrows. Nothing against the company, but the backwards spine numbers and the idea of incorporating multiple spines is a little....off sounding to me.
You're in luck! There are tons of great bows for young people out there. I have always been a fan of the budget PSE line for people starting out. Things like the Momentum, Drive, and Brute are great bows to start with. Also Bear makes great starter bows Iike the Affect and Authority. Most come ready to hunt with full accessories and are built to last. You can find these on eBay brand new! As for arrows, it's tough to go wrong with anything by Easton. I've shot their cheap and expensive lines with great success. This year will actually see the Powerflights in my quiver: the cheapest arrow they make! Hope this helps. God bless.
If you know what to look for, you can get brand new discontinued models on eBay and Amazon. I have bought 3 very good bows that way for half off the MSRP. And they come complete with manufacturer's warranty. Of course you really have to do your research and know what you are looking for.
Hey so im kinda of a intermediate shooter, by that i mean i shot competition at school. do you recommend the bear cruzer? i want to be able to get used to more and more weight later on and the customization looks nice.
The Cruzer is not a bow that I have ever shot personally. It's Bear Achery's attempt to keep in the world of highly-adjustable bows like the Diamond Infinite Edge, Mission Menace, and others. I imagine it's a great bow for anyone of any skill level and it has a great company name behind it! I have shot some of the more middle and upper end Bear bows and if the Cruzer is at all anything like it's "mother ship" bows, then it'll be a sweet shooter. :) Good luck! God bless.
hey man I absolutely have to buy a compound bow similar to your wife's bow (maybe not pink) within a week with a budget around 350 € and I don't have much time to visit some stores so I was wondering if you know about cheap but professional compound bows (with all the accessories even for bowfishing) that I can find on amazon.. you would really help me a lot answering this comment
i am 12 years old and i love gun hunting, and i want to start to bow hunt (deer) and i was looking at the gen x bows with the kit that can adjust to 40 lbs should i get this for christmas that is right down the road.
bro what do you think of the pse stinger x i just ordered mine yesterday and will be my first bow ever and want to hunt with it i have no clue about archery i hope im making the right choice lol please you're feedback will be greatfully appreciated.
Sometimes being clueless is the best because you have the opportunity to learn the most! The Stinger X I believe is a single cam bow and I'm all for beginners starting with a bow like that. Normally they have a good draw cycle, not too fast, decently forgiving, easy to tune, and just fun to shoot! I think you'll enjoy the bow whether you plan to just shoot in the backyard or go hunting too. Good luck! God bless.
thanks for the fast reply and info i'll definitely try this bow out and once i get better ill upgrade to a better bow like hoyt or bowtech . the only game we have to hunt in hawaii is hog and goats some of the other islands have axis deer big horn sheep but thats about the biggest game we have lol thanks again man.
So, I'm planning on buying a 2016 bowtech bt-x 28 70lbs. $325 Bow Bee stinger stabilizer 2x scott little goose release Nothing else. Is that an good deal? I have a diamond blackout ss 60lbs right now.
Only you can decide what's right for you. The btx28 was a very solid platform for a short axle bow. I would ask the current owner about limbs though. That was an era where BowTech had some out of house limb issues that they replaced under warranty. But as a second owner you would lose that right.
Hi, so I ended up buying the Bowtech BT-X 28, when i met the guy I already saw that the strings and cables needed to be changed, but when I brought it to a Bowtech dealer/pro shop, they said that for me to be able to safely use it I would need to get new limbs, just because the ones on it have some tiny chunks missing, which I thought wasn't that bad, but they said it doesn't look like it, but there's a crack underneath. Do you think it's worth spending another $275 to get it working? So I'll end up spending $600 for a bow, bee stinger stabilizer, 2 scott little goose release (that I plan to sell)
Question for ya - im new to archery and am looking for my first bow. Ive been looking at the Hoyt Ignite but every review i've read and watched say that its for youths. But it goes up to 30-31" and 70#. Would i be selling myself short in any way with this bow as an athletic 32 year old?
Andrew Rouse Great question! The Ignite is Hoyt's attempt to compete in the world of highly-adjustable bows offered by other companies like the Diamond Infinite Edge, Mission Menace, and Bear Cruzer. It's labeled as a youth bow because it CAN be adjusted for youth and allow them to grow into a 30" draw length and 70# limbs. So no, you're not selling yourself short. :) Is it as nice as a flagship bow? Not quite. But it'll get the job done, especially if you're new and don't know the difference. :)
you said you bought your wife bow(diamond infinite edge) at ebay. Then what will you do if your wife bows are broken or needs to be fixed? diamond said they do not sell warranty to internet shopping mall.
You are very correct, because we didn't have an authorized, in store purchase, we don't get the warranty. However, I've never been in a situation where I drastically needed a bow's full warranty. 99% of fixes on all of my bows I'm able to do myself with a press. And in the case of my wife's bow, she doesn't shoot enough and the bow is well maintained enough that I couldn't justify spending more money on an in store purchase with a full warranty.
Hey bud I just got a bowtech soldier and I think it's at a 24in draw and I might need to adjust it... Do u know if I need to have it pressed to do this ? Thanks in advance
KRIS GEORGE Off the top of my head I'm not certain if the Solider was one of the bows that was either module based or self pressing, other wise you would have to press it to change draw length.
Average Jack Archery thanks man I don't have a pro shop in the are where I live but will definitely bring it in so far I am able to hit what I aim at but could use another inch or so ... thanks again also I dig your penguins and Penn State hoodies I am actually from altoona PA
I'm just starting to get into Archery. Recently I got an offer for a second hand Hoyt Rampage 2011. Can you please advice me on getting this Bow as a first Bow? or, instead, getting a new one? Best regards
The Rampage was the little brother to Hoyt's flagship bow of the time, the CRX 32. It has a cast alloy riser and other parts that aren't *exactly* like its flagship relative but it was a phenomenal bow for the money. Personally, and a lot of other people at the time agreed with me on it, Hoyt actually made the bow TOO good for that year as a lot of people were buying it over the more expensive flagship CRX because they couldn't tell a difference between the two! The only difference they saw was a price drop of several hundred dollars. If the Rampage is a good deal and in good shape, take it to your local pro shop and have them set it up for you. Making sure they check string and cable wear, proper draw length, peep height, etc. If it's set up for you with a solid draw weight that isn't too much, I think you will have one heck of a shooter with that bow. :) All of my bows are from 2011 and I have won a couple 3D tournaments with them as well as arrowed a number of deer. Don't be fooled in thinking you need a "new" bow. :)
Thank you for your helpful answer. I really appreciate it. I'll do as you advice and, if you have the interest, try to keep you updated. As soon as I the full equipment package, I'll let you know. Keep up publishing the good and well informed videos. Congratulations for that.
Hi there. As promised here goes an update concerning the 2nd hand rampage 2011. It is confirmed as being the Hoyt Rampage XT 2011 60-70 lbs. It is in good shape. Nevertheless I wasn't able to open it, it was way to hard, probably with 65 lbs. It has got a drop away arrow rest and an old truglo sight 5 pin camo. My immediate concern was, obviously, the fact I wasn't able to open it. I read a bit about it and, correct me if I'm wrong, the bow can go has low has 60 lbs, with the maximum of 8 turns on the knobs to reduce the power. It also states that each turn should decrease about 3 lbs, which times 8 should reduce lower than 60 lbs, a bit confusing I might add. So, if I may ask, can you help me to clarify this problem? how low can this bow drop his draw weight? is it safe to do that? Should I instead go for a different bow? Thank you for your help, I do appreciate it.
Paulo, it has been my experience that if one can't draw back the 65lbs then it's highly unlikely that you'll be able to do the 60lbs. Or, if you can, it won't be very comfortable and you'll learn bad form habits from trying to fight the higher poundage bow. To answer your question, yes, most bow can actually go a few pounds below and a few pounds over their weight range. So that bow could probably do 58-73 pounds I'm guessing. But then you're playing a dangerous game of potentially backing out your limb bolts to far. So if you wish to pursue that route, I'd have a professional do it for you. Speaking of which, if you find that backing it out all the way safely makes it a bow you can comfortably shoot, go for it! But personally, I would go lower to start. Until only a few years ago, I was shooting bows from 40-55 pounds and did everything a 70lb bow could do. So if it's possible to find a lower poundage bow, I would try that first if it were me. Best of luck and keep me updated!
Awesome video! I am wanting to buy a bow and this was very helpful, thank you! Also, I am from North East Ohio, some good hunting in this area if you haven't checked it out.
Thank you! Feel free to suggest any future videos or ask questions if you ever get stuck getting into the world of archery. I actually grew up in Ohio through most of my youth before moving to PA. There are definitely some bruiser bucks cruising the state that is for sure! Unfortunately I never had the opportunity to hunt them before I left. Maybe one day!
I shot a diamond. I ... really like it. But I'm a dude. Maybe I can find another company that makes a dual cam 40 - 50 pound draw with a total weight of under 4 pounds for deer hunting that doesn't advertise under the flag of, "MADE BY WOMEN, FOR WOMEN." I really liked that diamond but what would all the boys think?
hey man I absolutely have to buy a compound bow similar to your wife's bow (maybe not pink) within a week with a budget around 350 € and I don't have much time to visit some stores so I was wondering if you know about cheap but professional compound bows (with all the accessories even for bowfishing) that I can find on amazon.. you would really help me a lot answering this comment
Hey man, Thank you very much for all your videos and tips. I've been doing a ton of research as of late because I really want to get into the world of archery. I'm currently stumped on which bow to buy. I've looked at infinite edge, pse stinger x, a number of Bear bows, and of course Hoyt. I'm looking to get into hunting eventually but for now just target shooting. Any advice? Also, I'm left handed.. which i'm finding that left handed bows seem to be more expensive on ebay for some reason. Thanks!
Ah, the curse of being left handed! If my shooting coach when I was younger hadn't discovered my right-eye-dominance while I was shooting left handed, I'd still be in the same boat as you! All of those bows you mentioned will do the trick for you. I highly recommend you watch this video by the folks of archery talk: ruclips.net/video/L3YkQCR1l24/видео.html Shoot whatever bow you like and feels good for you. Enjoy what you have and shoot the way that works for you! :)
only thing with amazon and eBay is to be real careful, you don't want to get something that is not going to be name brand or have a warranty. These places are great however if you know what you're looking for (I'm talking specific bow brand, specific model not generalized "I want a bow" type of search) in general also, if you ever buy a second bow, you can put all your accessories from the previous bow on to the new bow! You also want to know what parts are going to need to be replaced because even if you order a bow from Lancaster that is bare minimum for a compound, if it's in a package you're probably going to get products that were just tossed in there because the store couldn't sell them. My Diamond Prism came with a terrible "Tundra 3 pin Sight", I'm pretty sure it wasn't something that Diamond would have put into a package, and I know that Lancaster doesn't give you the Chinese Knockoff type of brands as easily as eBay, Tundra isn't even a name brand company known in the Archery Industry unless if you try to look up products! Point of matter being, be mindful of what is in a package if you want to buy a packaged bow with accessories, you might find the need to replace some of them like the reason why I needed to replace my sight and later my rest. (Whisker biscuit was fine but it was tearing my fletching off of my arrows I just fletched and it seemed annoying, whisker biscuit is still good for those who want to use them)
I love how you break everything down dummy style for people like me. I know nothing about bows but have lately been looking into it a bunch. I get bunch of my knowledge on archery from you so keep it up. Thanks
Great vid and info. We pay around $13 to $15 for arrows in Australia. As usual , we get ripped off here.
Thanks again and cheers mate !
You're extremely well spoken, coherent, and probably really intelligent. Thanks for the vid man!
Thank you so much! You should see the hours of footage that gets edited out. It's not so intelligent. God bless!
Average Jack Archery lol you should make a blooper video for us
Average Jack Archery Jack, I just got a left over Bear authority at a bomb ass price. I'm stoked, but I'd like advice on arrow picks.

I just stumbled upon this old gem. LOL. You have come a long way buddy.
Isn't it hilarious?! To think folks listened to that rambling buffoon.
When I was looking for a video to watch on this topic, totally picked this one because of the Penguins hoodie 👍🏼🐧
I have found your videos very informative. They have been very helpful in trying to make my voyage into the sport more successful. Thank you for posting them. Thank you very much. Your video literally answered every question I had, and some I hadn't even thought up yet. :)
Im searching since an hour for a good video. And now i finally found it!
Thank for the amazon tip. This will save me alot of money!
Very nice video!
Possibly the best introduction to compounds I have seen.
Great work mate.
Seth Greenhill Thanks so much! God bless.
These are truly great videos. As a beginner I really appreciate you taking the time to do this.
The pleasure is definitely all mine. Glad I could help another novice get into the sport!
Great video. I’ve had my Craigslist bow for quite sometime now. Point Blank The New Wave is my bow now. looking forward to a Bear Cruzer G2 bow in the near future

Hoyt has always stood by their product whether new or used, and I have had them do great things for me when I purchased bows without a warranty.
I started with a bow from a pawn shop and eventually upgraded to a pse stinger x.
William Cavender thinking about buying a bow from a pawn shop also
Drink Bud Ice but beware of the Penguins!!! Go Pens!!! Good video. 👍🏻😎
Thank you for the great video.
awesome video sir.. very helpful to the would be hobbyists.
Great Job!
Thanks great info
Hit the like button for the pens hoodie alone, good info thanks dude.
Lol
Only if you're closer to "youth sized".
Thanks for the video! What’s the classifieds site in PA you referred to? I’m in Chester County, looking for my first bow
Google "Rennug Classifieds". It's the new PennsWoods Classifieds. Same layout though.
@@averagejackarchery thank you!
I bought a Blackout SS with other googdies for $420. After calculating the prices of the goodies and subtracting it from $420, my bow only costs $123. Yey!
Great video. Are you aware of any 2-3 year old Hoyt/Mathew Bows which would be a good used bow in 2019?
Check out my used bow buying guide!
Yeah , great info
Do you know anything about bows made by bear. There are some at my local pawn shop for 30 bucks. Doesn’t look they were even used.
I am in Pennsylvania....what was the used site you were talking about?
Look up "Rennug Classifieds" in Google. Used to be called PennsWoods Classifieds.
great video. you helped me learn alot. Thankyou
Hi Average Jack Archery! I have a random question. What kind of basic tools do you use when you work on your bows? I'm starting out in archery and a bit curious as to what goes into taking care of them as well as eventually doing my own upgrades :)
Cheers
Thembi Audet I have a video on just that subject! ruclips.net/video/WdbKExpjSkE/видео.html
So helpful thanks so much 😄
Hello, first I want to say that your channel is amazing.
I think if she likes it and it's a good buy, then there's no point in changing it! :)
Thx for the info !!!
Just bought my first bow, topoint serenity 2018, was it a good buy?
Hey jack what do you think about the carbon express mayhem ds 250 dual spine ? It's a 400 spine .
Full transparency, I'm not a fan of CX arrows. Nothing against the company, but the backwards spine numbers and the idea of incorporating multiple spines is a little....off sounding to me.
Hey I am 13 and I am going bow hunting this month and i was wondering if i could get any suggestions on a bow and arrows? Thanks!
God bless.
Thanks.God bless.
If you know what to look for, you can get brand new discontinued models on eBay and Amazon. I have bought 3 very good bows that way for half off the MSRP. And they come complete with manufacturer's warranty. Of course you really have to do your research and know what you are looking for.
Excellent point!
God bless.
I'm 13 and shoot a diamond infinite edge pro it goes from 7 to 70 pound
Hanks Outdoors , go 70#, buddy.
hey man I absolutely have to buy a compound bow similar to your wife's bow (maybe not pink) within a week with a budget around 350 € and I don't have much time to visit some stores so I was wondering if you know about cheap but professional compound bows (with all the accessories even for bowfishing) that I can find on amazon.. you would really help me a lot answering this comment
The bow is called a diamond infinite edge. Cheap and adjustable. For the accessories you might have to tune the sight and buy a bow fishing kit.
can you help me find a good cheap accessory kit? I'm buying a brand new bare bones SAS Rage for $145
Yes go Pens!
cheers mate
i am 12 years old and i love gun hunting, and i want to start to bow hunt (deer) and i was looking at the gen x bows with the kit that can adjust to 40 lbs should i get this for christmas that is right down the road.
Ty Pinnix From your age and likely draw length and draw weight (40 max is a great place to be) I think it's a great idea! God bless.
Is apex hunting rookie bow good for a kiddo
great video
Thank you so much! God bless.
bro what do you think of the pse stinger x i just ordered mine yesterday and will be my first bow ever and want to hunt with it i have no clue about archery i hope im making the right choice lol please you're feedback will be greatfully appreciated.
$325
Bow
Bee stinger stabilizer
2x scott little goose release
Nothing else.
Is that an good deal?
I have a diamond blackout ss 60lbs right now.
Sounds very solid!
@@averagejackarchery so go for it? I really want the new Mathews, but they're still really expensive
Only you can decide what's right for you. The btx28 was a very solid platform for a short axle bow. I would ask the current owner about limbs though. That was an era where BowTech had some out of house limb issues that they replaced under warranty. But as a second owner you would lose that right.
@@averagejackarchery oh yeah I saw that. Thank you so much! Hope you and your family are safe.
An Average Jack thanks again man! I'm gonna head to my local dealer and check that out AND the Charger.. the one i really want lol
If it were me, I'd go Charger. ;) Head and shoulders better than the Ignite.
you said you bought your wife bow(diamond infinite edge) at ebay.
I like this guy. 🐧🐧
Great video 👍
Great video
thx for the video
What's that thing at the middle of the string
The D-loop? It's what you clip a mechanical release into in order to draw and fire the bow. Hope that helps!
All of my bows are from 2011 and I have won a couple 3D tournaments with them as well as arrowed a number of deer.
Please do keep me updated! Best of luck.
I just got my girl the same bow for 150 out the door. New
Great video mate, earned a like and subscribe from me cheers

Great question....and I have no idea. 😢
You look like Jake Kaminski
wtf is that Chris Kunitz?
I shot a diamond. I ... really like it. But I'm a dude.
Maybe I can find another company that makes a dual cam 40 - 50 pound draw with a total weight of under 4 pounds for deer hunting that doesn't advertise under the flag of, "MADE BY WOMEN, FOR WOMEN."
I really liked that diamond but what would all the boys think?
Diamond is just the company made by Bowtech. Not the name of the bow! They have made many, many bows for men and women over the decades.
Can I just buy the newest compound bow for my first bow.I’m a kiddo

Hey man,
Thank you very much for all your videos and tips.
I highly recommend you watch this video by the folks of archery talk: ruclips.net/video/L3YkQCR1l24/видео.html
Shoot whatever bow you like and feels good for you.
