I went to a bow shop/range yesterday, the first time I tried this sport. I felt the shop was trying to sell me what they have and not what I want, even if it can be ordered. The salesman used a tactic of telling me it may take months to receive to my specific choice of bow because of how they do manufacturing in batches. Don't know if this is true or not. He was trying to sell me the Phase 4 where I'm looking for the TRX by mathews.
If you have your mind on something don’t let them sway you! Tell them that you’ll go find a shop that has it to shoot! They probably have a butt ton of phase 4 bows, and want to go through them because they’re in stock. Sometimes it can take a month or two to have one custom delivered, that’s about how long mine took!
I have been shooting now for about 5 years, shot a recurve while I was a kid. I have learned a lot along the way, and just recently discovered I shoot better with both eyes open, using the peep outline in my right eye. You learn more as you go
I tried that for a while but I found that I have a really heavy right eye dominance, and therefore it's incredibly distracting to shoot with both eyes fully open.
Hi! Depending on how much you want to spend there is lots of options. Every brand makes a good entry level bow that will work for you. It really just depends on how much you want to spend. What is your budget?
I just subbed to your channel. Nice review
Awesome man! Thanks!

I don't, but a lot of people out there do.

I would say don’t buy a fast 340fps bow for yer first bow
You’ll learn a lot faster with a 320fps bow all the best 🤘👍
Even some $300 dollar bows shoot 315 to 320fps! Bow technology has gotten crazy
Also for ones' first bow fast bows may not be a great idea due to them typically having such an aggressive draw cycle!
@@ApexPredatorOutdoors I turn my 340 bow down to 60lbs till I got more use to it ,still really fast at 60lbs 👍
@@brucescott9814 Nice! Hoping to get an 80lb bow myself soon. I like heavy arrows that go fast!
@@ApexPredatorOutdoors 80 lbs me old shoulders wouldn’t be able for that anymore, you’ll be shooting some serious arrows with that 👍
Liked AND Subscribed! Thank you for the help. This will be my first season bow hunting and this was the exact video I needed!

Dope review 💪
Thanks brother!
Help! I need a new compound bow. What's the best hunting bow I can get for a budget for a beginner? I have a 26 inch draw.

@@ApexPredatorOutdoors under 600 thanks
Honestly the Bear Legit, or the Bear Resurgence are good bows below that point. The Martin TM Hunter is another!
I loved your intro man I really need something like this on my channel
Thanks bud! I'll check it out. I did it all myself, been adapting it over time.
@@ApexPredatorOutdoors bro if u could put me something together I would shout ya out or give ya some cash
