    I went to a bow shop/range yesterday, the first time I tried this sport. I felt the shop was trying to sell me what they have and not what I want, even if it can be ordered. The salesman used a tactic of telling me it may take months to receive to my specific choice of bow because of how they do manufacturing in batches. Don't know if this is true or not. He was trying to sell me the Phase 4 where I'm looking for the TRX by mathews.

      If you have your mind on something don’t let them sway you! Tell them that you’ll go find a shop that has it to shoot! They probably have a butt ton of phase 4 bows, and want to go through them because they’re in stock. Sometimes it can take a month or two to have one custom delivered, that’s about how long mine took!

    good explanation but i thought you dont shoot a peep ?

      I don't, but a lot of people out there do.

      I have been shooting now for about 5 years, shot a recurve while I was a kid. I have learned a lot along the way, and just recently discovered I shoot better with both eyes open, using the peep outline in my right eye. You learn more as you go

    • @ApexPredatorOutdoors
      @ApexPredatorOutdoors  Год назад +1

      I tried that for a while but I found that I have a really heavy right eye dominance, and therefore it's incredibly distracting to shoot with both eyes fully open.

    I would say don’t buy a fast 340fps bow for yer first bow
    You’ll learn a lot faster with a 320fps bow all the best 🤘👍

    • @ApexPredatorOutdoors
      @ApexPredatorOutdoors  3 года назад +2

      Even some $300 dollar bows shoot 315 to 320fps! Bow technology has gotten crazy

    • @ApexPredatorOutdoors
      @ApexPredatorOutdoors  3 года назад +2

      Also for ones' first bow fast bows may not be a great idea due to them typically having such an aggressive draw cycle!

      @ApexPredatorOutdoors  2 года назад +1

      Hi! Depending on how much you want to spend there is lots of options. Every brand makes a good entry level bow that will work for you. It really just depends on how much you want to spend. What is your budget?

      Honestly the Bear Legit, or the Bear Resurgence are good bows below that point. The Martin TM Hunter is another!
