So glad I survived the Halloween month and we’re now into Noirvember - one of my favourite genres. If you’re doing one of your live streams that would be a fun topic for the month perhaps. By the way, Murder by Contract is excellent and I think it has only be released on Blu-Ray in the U.K. on the Indicator label. Another sale just started here with 50% off some Warner Archive blu-rays so I thought it fitting to get some more Noir discs - On Dangerous Ground, Possessed, The Set-Up to name a few. November is quite the month for sales it seems with companies eager to push things onto us earlier and earlier as each year goes by. A big high five to Jessie for completing those delightful puzzles. I have such lovely memories of doing them with my nan when I was growing up. Enjoy your week. All the best to both of you.
Thanks, that's a great idea for a livestream. We have been talking about going live more before the end of the year. I noticed that Murder By Contract is featured on the Criterion channel this month so I am planning to watch and hope to pickup a copy at some point. I love Warner Archive, so cool that there is a sale going on for you. Barnes and Noble here is having their 50% off Criterion sale this month (from 11/1 to 12/2) so I'm hoping to pickup a few more films. Jessi says hello and thanks for commenting and enjoying the puzzle content. She loves puzzles. Hope you have a great week and all the best to you too.
I vote for shaving the beard! I don’t think I’ve ever seen you without one. I’m loving all the puzzle content. I’ve never actually seen Tootsie - do you think I’d like it?
Oh that's a great idea but I haven't seen myself without a beard for about 10 years now 🤣 I think you'd love Tootsie, very entertaining - I love Dustin Hoffman's performance and so many others in the film including Teri Garr.
I watched 53 movies in October. 2 were anniversaries that were not horror and 2 were debatable (1984 and King on Screen), but all the others were horror or horror light. My family and I start Christmas movie watching on Thanksgiving (with Miracle on 34th Street).
Wow, so many movies - that's great! I am hoping to watch a few more Christmas movies earlier this year. I love Miracle on 34th Street (the original is my favorite). I also am planning to watch more noir films this month. Hope you have a great week!

I started watching the tv series St. Elsewhere on Hulu this weekend.
Hi Mike. Great show, glad it's available on Hulu.
