Not a well researched biography....very shallow as if put together by someone unfamiar with him.
So many more interesting facets to Carlos Santana like his early drug use and intense spiritual quest and devotion to his guru, Sri Chinmoy. His works with the Mahavishnu Orchaestra and John McLaughlin. Their collaboration of album Love_Devotion and Surrender was named Best Guitar Album of that year. Carlos developed a guitar style and his own unmistakable sound that thousands of upcoming guitar players would try and emulate. Truly a warmhearted man he played from the heart and even in his seventies still plays globally. What shines through is his genuine joy of playing in a ban.d Yet most compelling is he and his wife started so many lifechanging charities still in existence today...whereas helping people became his true life works.
