Wanted to clarify I used front (1.3mm) M2C ARRMA 6s pistons with 1100cst on all 4 corners and set the front shock position to the wider setting. Suspension tuning this truck is a serious challenge 🤣. The rear wants to pogo stick off the ground with stock setup and geometry. The Badlands 3.8 were way more planted with this set-up than the stock Sledgehammers. I have progressive springs from VG Racing to try out, but this set-up is already a big improvement over stock. 😎💪👊👊
You have the best eye for dialling in any rig . I’ve ( and hope you don’t mind) copied 4 setups now . Still debating on getting a new max but you make it look super fun. I’ve had a blast up with my nephews and niece over Xmas with all my cars. Thanks for the awesome year of footage. Merry Christmas and happy healthy new year. Hope we see more mad bashing from the Duperbash master class. 👍🏼😛🤜🏼🤛🏼
@@Captinfun101 thanks so much Lucas 🤗. I honestly love wrenching and tuning as much as bashing. Gonna do more with all the rain we're getting. That's awesome to hear about your family bash with your niece and nephew over Christmas 😍. This truck is fun and tough, just takes some tuning. Really appreciate it Brother. Happy New year!!!! 🍻😎💪👊👊
@@ianbudgetrc2574 this setup was a bit stiff with 1100cst, but it's actually more planted off the jumps. The terrain was challenging this outing. Ground is rock hard and rutted in that first spot. Makes for violent hits 👀. I'm gonna keep experimenting regardless. Just glad she isn't bouncing 2 feet off the ground with bigger jumps now 😂😎💪👊👊
Killer truck. I love mine ! For those that don't want to drop 1K plus on the X-maxx, this is the best option..to be completely honest, since I got the MAXX I pull it off the shelf more often than the X-maxx. I just installed the wide-maxx kit and it really makes the Maxx handle nicer as far as lateral stability. 4S is the sweet spot all day long. I like this truck so much that I ordered another one. Bash, eat, sleep, repeat ! ✌
Lmfao... after upgrades on my make, I'm weeeell over 1k now... she was durable before tgw upgrades, though... the max esc is and motor combo is my personal favorite... guess the suspension upgrades made the motor/esc upgrades all that much better lol
Another great vid! Your ability to tweak the set up to perfection along with your mad skills regardless of the size of model are something to aspire to. Keep it up brother 👍
Love seeing the Maxx get the proper treatment. She definitely loves bigger tires. Helps a lot with that slap. I'm running backflip LP's but my first tire upgrade was a 6s MT backflips. It's amazing with the MT's. Might be worth a try. Keep it coming.
Excellent durability testing in this video! This truck is super durable without a doubt. Thanks for putting it through the ringer! This Hobbywing setup is really nice even on 4S. Suspension looks much better.
Once traxxas started using the blue vxl’s it wend down hill for them. When they came with castle controllers i never had an issue. Now the first thing I do is remove the esc before I power it up. Just want to say thanks for all the work you put into this hobby. It help tremendously for someone like myself who runs on weekends with my son and really don’t have much time for R and D. He just wants to get out and bash not watch me always tuning. That’s changing slowly but surely as he gets older. Anyway brother happy new year and be safe. Thanks…
Thanks so very much Chris 🤗. I hope someone at Traxxas takes notice of all the negative feedback with these blue turd VXL's. It definitely ways in on people's minds when deciding on overall value. You're smart to pull them right out 👊. It's impossible to gauge a rigs potential with a crap ESC 😝. Hope you have a great New Year and get some bashing in with your son 🍻🤙🤙😎💪👊👊
this car is complete mayhem. i love it. vitavon bulk heads is a must.. you will never lose mesh again. wanted to wait for m2c options.. but you wont need the chassis brace with vitavon bulkheads.. they are not cheap though... and if you want to make it more solid.. get the motor brace.. traxxas really fukt it up when the motor and mesh are on different mounting pounts on the modular chassis. example: motor is mounted to the center chassis... rear diff and center.. mounted on rear chassis.. one hard hit... mesh opens or closes.. depending on the bend... and where it's flexing.. vitavon will make it all on the rear bulkhead so if it flexes.. you dont lose mesh. The maxx is different than the Xmaxx when it comes to mounting on the chassis. hence one battery tray. I will say this. they ARE HEAVY!!!.. 6s might be needed after these mods. my shitty traxxas esc is overheating like mad and i have it geared down, 25/50 on pin/ring vs the 25/46 geared up. I am running 4s backflip LPs on traxxas truggy dish wheels. the offset is mad. wider than any other wheel with the offset. I have some vids on Orbit RC channel. its sexy.
Awesome Rich! She looks way more stable with the tweaks. The Hobbywing systems are sold. Always. 4S and your gearing looks to me spot on. No need for 6S in that setup. Can't wait to see more of the rig 👍🤗😘
Thanks so much Kimberly 😍. Feels like a different truck with proper power and suspension tune 😱. Love those Badlands!!!! Just have to sort some slop with the stock plastic hexs and rims. Probably going to look for a 17mm replacement. Really appreciate it!!! Happy New Year 😘😘😎💪👊👊
Always fun to watch 👍 it’s performance is awesome for 4s and it looks like it handles really good. You make it look so effortless all the time! Absolutely epic 👏
Thanks a ton man for your tips. i was so upset when i got my v2,.. I do full sends.. im not a racer or anything i basically go to the park and send it full speed as far as i can go... with your help i was able to get some m2c racing pistons.. i put the rear 1.7 lbs on the front wth 80wt and 2.0lb springs in the back with 100wt and springs ran all the way down for jumps 15+ ft all the way up for "nomral bashing". thanks for your help. love it now. i am running traxxas response pro 3.8 truggy dish on it. lighter than the oem setup less ballooning but enough for controlling on flips.
M2C for the maxx !? I can't wait !! Rich when you get your hubs install get the 8940x captured pin set. You won't ever have to worry about the screws backing out again. 👊💪💥
Yup. I had to install aluminum C hubs and steering blocks so that my hinge pins would stop popping out. That is another weakness of this truck. Thanks for the video bud. And yes the Max 8 makes a huge difference in this set up for sure.
Thanks so much Brother 🤗. I have the HR spindles on the bench, just waiting for the C hubs 👍. Hopefully have them tomorrow. The Max8 woke her right up 😱😎💪👊👊
Nice Bash Rich. Your Tuning always goes a long way into the the handling of these rigs. I always look forward to what you do so I can improve my rigs and driving!! I think this is a case where the Little brother is better than the Big brother 😆😆 !! This Maxx comes with the wide kit which Obviously helps the handling. The Badlands make even more stable!!! Again a great session Rich DB!! Hope your Christmas and New Years are Great!! Stay safe and bash on from Colorado!!!
Thanks so much Ervin 🤗. I've been loving getting this sucker dialed in proper 😍. The first bash lit a fire in me because I knew the truck had so much more to offer with better power and suspension. The Badlands feel absolutely perfect for this sucker 😱. I would say hands down the little brother Maxx will take far more abuse than Green Bertha 😂. Hope you had a great Christmas and happy New Years Brother. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Thanks so much Brother 🤗. This was my way of coercing Mitch and Avery to put a Maxx specific piston kit together 😂. Apparently it worked. Should be available on the M2C website this week per Mitch. It's a cheap, but game changing upgrade. Completely changes the handling. I recommended 1.3mm all 4 corners with 1000-1100cst suggested starting point. I simply couldn't tune the stock rear pistons and eliminate the pogo effect. The slotted O ring pistons are simply genius 😍🍻😎💪👊👊
Thinking about picking up this truck sure I will do whatever mods you have done to it. Your knowledge of this hobby is untouchable. I did all the mods that you did to your Arma outcast v2 and the truck is a beast.
Thanks so very much Mark 🤗. The Maxx is a very durable platform overall. I should mention however, since getting the Outcast 4s V2 my Maxx has played 2nd fiddle. The 04s handles so much better, is lighter, and stands quite a bit wider and taller. It's honestly far more fun and a better overall value in my opinion. 😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 Yeah it was just a thought getting the Maxx. Just a big kid wanting new a toy. I am sure the Maxx is not as impressive as the v2 outcast. That truck is my all-time favorite truck l have ever owned. What l am going to do is what l have been wanting to do for years. Just build a teckno rc MT 410 with every part m2c racing makes for it. Just buy a part when I can and eventually l will have the truck l really want to build. That's an expensive rig to build. What l would like to ask you is what motor l should use on my teckno rc build and what pinion as well would like to run it on 4s unless you suggest otherwise Sure that truck is going to be a little heavy with all of that m2c metal on it. Been using hobbystar motors for years l won't use anything else I love the power they have. Let me know what motor l should use on my new project when you get a chance. Thanks man!
@@Schmidt3850 sounds awesome Mark 🤗. The Tekno MT41O is a very fun build and makes for a silky smooth basher. I'm back running the BLX185 setup with 2050kv motor. Hobbystar makes a 4076 motor that would pair nicely with a Max8. It comes in several kv options. For 4s, you could run either the 2000 or 2200. Final gearing depends on what speeds you're happy with and wheel size. Probably in the 18-20T range. If there's any chance you'll go 6s, you'll want the 1550 or 1700kv with likely a 16-18T depending on wheels...etc. 🍻
Thanks again for your guidance on my teckno build I can always count on your superior knowledge of this hobby to guide me in the right direction. Going to take me a minute to gather up all the parts l need for my teckno build but in time l will have them. Probably run the outcast back flip's on it they seem like a good choice Thanks again Rich. Will be out with My outcast this weekend l will always be on a constant quest for endless off road bashing and higher jumps.
Crazy Epic Killer Run with the Maxx my BRO! 🤩🔥💥 You have that thing tamed my man! I need to get my suspension working like that on my rig! You definitely inspired me to do the same with my shock setup! Just Awesome Dude! 🤩 Love how you got her landing plush and that it sticks to the ground so nicely now! Totally different animal there! 🔥

@@thunderrc thanks so much Brother 😜!!!! Stuck at work right now 😱🤣🤣. The M2C pistons and tuning made such a difference with the dampening 👀. Mitch and Avery are gonna have to kit the 1.3mm pistons for the Maxx soon. Pretty sure guys will love them 👌. Stoked to get back out between rains. Really appreciate the kind words Bro. 🍻🚀🚀😎💪👊👊
De super images , d'innovantes améliorations et tests , on en veut encore Riche Duperbash , bravo pour tout ce que vous faite pour rendre ce passe temps encore plus existant ! ;)
If you do revisit this truck, I put 4s kraton rear shocks on the rear. That extra length (Not so long to cause binding) was just enough to completely change the handling of this truck. I used to not care for it, now I reach for it often 👍👌🤘🤘
Thanks so much Brother 🤗. Just what I needed to hear really. The crummy handling is one of the reasons I don't drive her so much. Really appreciate the tip 🍻
That's the power set up traxxas should have put in there, even running on 4s. Also hope m2c will come out with something for that popping body cover, for now I just stick with the slingshot that I have.
Definitely need to throw some Rpm80512 long rod ends on it. Just did it to my maxx tonight and it has quite a bit more suspension travel. I have the vg racing progressive springs with the rpm long rod ends. Running 50wt front and 60 Rear. Hopefully I can get it out this weekend and see how it runs!
Thanks so much Brother John 😜!!!! Night and day difference from the first bash 👀. I put in a couple extra late night hours getting these right 👊. Can't wait to bash this weekend!!!! 🍻🚀🚀😎💪👊👊
So true Brother 😜. Their pistons are like a fine beverage. It's hard to drink lesser brands once you taste quality. I have a hard time not running their pistons after being spoiled with the handling 😂😎💪👊👊
Killer 2nd bash with little Plastic Fantastic brother Rich! She's rippin hard in wide open spaces. Took all those jumps quite nicely as well. The suspension seems way better with the M2C pistons and 1100cst fluid. Feels better dampened on big jumps too. Badlands is better suited on her for sure man.. great traction on loose dirt and good air control. Good call on the metal spur. She's almost handling like an Arrma rig after the system swapped. Love your setup 😍. You Definitely got this truck tuned like your own brother. Very well done my friend.
Thanks so much Brother Chris 😜!!!! Can't believe the difference the Max8 and gears made 👀. Definitely woke her right up on 4s. Stoked the pistons fit perfectly too 😍. Did a ton of bench and front yard testing. Think I tried 5 different weights before starting over with the M2C pistons 😂. Simply couldn't get the stock ones to cooperate. The Badlands feel perfect for this platform 👌. Felt awesome to get out again. It's rained so much here lately. Getting used to 40F days. Glad she didn't break apart from the inside like her big brother 🤣. Truly appreciate it Bro!!!! 🍻🚀🚀😎💪👊👊
Killer run Rich, those close calls were enough to get your blood flowing I bet! I just picked one of these up and man, when it comes down it sounds horrible from the slap. I will have to spend some time with the suspension. Great video, glad to see the Maxx held up to such a run!!! As always, can't wait to see more! Happy New Year!!
Thanks so much Jon and Congrats on your new Maxx 😱. Yeah the slap is harsh for sure 😂. I think taping ot reinforcing the body might deafen some of the noise, but the shocks need serious tuning out of the box. Happy New Years!!!! 🍻😎💪👊👊
I just maxed out the punch setting. Don't recall what I set the brake at. Not sure how heavy your 8000mah packs are, but heavier packs can weigh the car down affecting acceleration and handling. I normally run 5200mah Ovonic 100C packs.
Wow you could see the difference from the first rip seems like a speed Demond now. Still for what you just put it through that wheel was minor damage. I like it lots can't wait to get one the next time I'm in my local store. I just need to be in a warmer climate so it doesn't get destroyed on the first winter rip. Excellent video, can't wait to see more.
Those were some SICK jumps, bro! I went with 80wt all 4 corners and vg racing progressive springs... made a huge difference in the way it lands big air jumps... a slight bit of bounce, but overall good. I want to try the arrma pistons now
Thanks so much Scott 🤗. I have some VG Racing springs just waiting in my parts bag 👀. The M2C pistons make a HUGE difference. Appreciate your feedback with your set-up Brother. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Bad ass Rich! Loved seeing your Maxx rip in the sand and those backflips off the ramp 🤩 Suspension looked great for sure. I will wait for M2C to put out a set of 1.3 all around 👍 I can't wait to run mine. I'm gonna give the stock ESC a chance with the Bluetooth link. Usually when you set up the Bluetooth link you have to unlock the highest power output and update the firmware. Just another way Traxxas hits you with extras. I know that's what happened with my original Maxx anyway 🤷♂️
Thanks so much Brother Aaron 😜!!!! You'll probably have more luck with programming the stock VXL 4s. I absolutely refused to give Traxxas another dime with a link purchase just to do basic ESC tuning 😂. Having it shut off the first ramp hit was a deal breaker. I don't have the patience for glitchy electronics. The Max8 feels frigging awesome in her 😍. So stoked the pistons and heavier oils worked out 😱. Completely changed the handling overall. Hey Rich great video, thanks for posting. Can I ask how you mounted the max8? I just bought the MaxxV2 and the max8 mounting bracket holes do not line up. I appreciate any help
I'm still running stock springs with M2C pistons and 1100cst oils (around 90 weight). Definitely increases the dampening and slows the rebound. Still chassis slaps, but reduces the crazy bounce. Only thing I might not have mentioned is I moved the front shock rods to the outward position on the A arms. It's imperative to face the slotted side of the M2C pistons downwards in the shock bodies before filling and bleeding the shocks. 😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 yes I did all that, except one thing, I’m not to sure what you mean by moving the shock rods to the outer position on the a arms. Thanks bro😀👍
@@rctd3260 if you look at where the shock pins insert into the A arms, you'll notice 2 hole options. I went with the outside holes. This drops the ride height slightly which improves handling. Make sure to increase preload on the shock collars if needed. My truck came extremely bouncy and under-dampened. These changes made a remarkable difference for overall handling and control.
Mate great video again but I would love to see a Rc truggy that you don't have to spend more than what the vehicle is worth to make it playable and reliable. I'm lucky because I can make and build my own parts but for others it cost a fortune. Ps I love my 1/8 kraton that I've built up and didn't cost a fortune but is such a beast and I don't even run it full power 🦘👍👍🤣🤣. Stay safe everyone 🙏
What's your take on this versus something like the similarly-priced Outcast/Notorious 6S? Doesn't the plastic chassis bother you, or do you think it will hold up as well or better than Arrma's aluminum? If that's an advantage, maybe it makes up for the weaker ESC and bouncy suspension out of the box!
Overall I think the Maxx chassis won't break like it's big brother XMaxx can with more extreme vertical hits. It's got a huge weight advantage and better central design of coarse. Can't really compare it to the Outcast 6s though being a completely different truck and design. That's also an extremely tough truck and FUN as heck 😍. Also comes with better electronics. The stock ARRMA chassis's will bend if you bash hard. That's not the end of the world, but can be annoying 😂. Either straighten and move on or go M2C and problem solved. Both are very impressive trucks in my opinion. The Maxx requires less upgrading, but it boils down to interest too. Both are 10+ lb rigs in the end. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Yo Duperdealy yo, man you've relit my like of Traxxas product. I've been kind of anti and not paying too much attn to their rigs. @@richduperbash2966 Awesome, thank you. Damn dude, this thing RIPS! I just picked up a v2 Maxx as well. Contemplating the power upgrade for some more rotation. No problems with the blue Vxl yet.. just don’t wanna test my luck 🤣😂 I see vitavon has a aluminum motor mount 🤔 might give that a try
The Max8 and more gear completely changed this sucker 👀. Unfortunately, the stock VXL truly holds back the performance. I'll have to take a look at the Vitavon mount. The stock setup loses mesh and strips the silly set screw in the gear cover housing. 😎💪👊👊
Sweet bro. Would you say those 3.8 badlands are the same size as the 4s backflips. I would think the normal badlands would balloon some and that the mx version would be better. Just speaking from the 2.8 versions.
Per usual another quality vid by RDBSH. That thing is a screamin demon with that current setup, nicely done! Did you change any of the diff oils? Maxx is by far my fav rc!! Just can't wait to get all the parts to convert mine to the extended one. Just need the extended chassis and clear shell and im good to go! Can't wait!
Thanks so much Brother 😜. Still haven't touched the diffs yet. Absolutely stoked with the Max8 and 25/46 gearing 👍. She running strong with way better handling since the shock tune and pistons. Probably going to swap on 17mm adapters. Enjoy your conversion Brother!!!! 🍻😎💪👊👊

Seems to really protect the Lipos with dense foam on each end and is easy to load/unload. Yeah I'm fortunate to have some fun spots in my region. I normally drive 20-30 minutes to spots, but will drive further no problem for a good bash 😍. I try to time it when things aren't as busy. Mitch and Avery will have an Epic 2022 for sure 😱. @@richduperbash2966 That's awesome man! I tried 25/46 gearing with the stock VXL system and sledgehammer tires and it cogged pretty bad. It sounds like this is the way I am going to go! Thanks for the video and have a blast with the V2!
Which one do you prefer so far, this one or the XMaxx? I'm a Tekno fanboy so I ultimately want to build a M2C'd MT410 but I've been tempted for a while to get a RTR monster truck. I'd also like to build a full M2C Arrma something or another as well, lol.
Well.... I'm digging both trucks, but I break my XMaxx literally every time out 😂. On my 4th major chassis component after 6 runs 👀. I'd recommend the Maxx personally. Literally broke my XMaxx in half again yesterday. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Dang! It lands much better than it was on stock suspension!
Where can o get these shocks your running at already to go ?

Love my maxx takes a beating.Put the wide maxx kit on it waiting on my vg racing springs to help with the body slap.
Lmfao... after upgrades on my make, I'm weeeell over 1k now... she was durable before tgw upgrades, though... the max esc is and motor combo is my personal favorite... guess the suspension upgrades made the motor/esc upgrades all that much better lol
Another great vid! Your ability to tweak the set up to perfection along with your mad skills regardless of the size of model are something to aspire to. Keep it up brother 👍
Thanks so much for the kind words Brother 🤗. Happy New Year!!! 🍻😎💪👊👊

Good to see you loving the plastic fantastics.
All the best to you and yours for the season and New Year.
Cheers from Oz 🍺
Once traxxas started using the blue vxl’s it wend down hill for them. When they came with castle controllers i never had an issue. Now the first thing I do is remove the esc before I power it up. Just want to say thanks for all the work you put into this hobby. It help tremendously for someone like myself who runs on weekends with my son and really don’t have much time for R and D. He just wants to get out and bash not watch me always tuning. That’s changing slowly but surely as he gets older.
Anyway brother happy new year and be safe.
Thanks…
Thats why I like building my rigs i get to decide what electronics to put in
Thanks so very much Chris 🤗.
Just like arrma and the new spektrum garbage
this car is complete mayhem. i love it. vitavon bulk heads is a must.. you will never lose mesh again. wanted to wait for m2c options.. but you wont need the chassis brace with vitavon bulkheads.. they are not cheap though... and if you want to make it more solid.. get the motor brace.. traxxas really fukt it up when the motor and mesh are on different mounting pounts on the modular chassis. example: motor is mounted to the center chassis... rear diff and center.. mounted on rear chassis.. one hard hit... mesh opens or closes.. depending on the bend... and where it's flexing.. vitavon will make it all on the rear bulkhead so if it flexes.. you dont lose mesh.

M2C for the maxx !? I can't wait !! Rich when you get your hubs install get the 8940x captured pin set. You won't ever have to worry about the screws backing out again. 👊💪💥
And hopefully some kinda hinge pin new brace from m2c wink wink
I installed them... haven't backed out yet... I found there's a little more slop in the control arms, though... not a lot, but definitely more
Rich, killer video my man! You know how to drive, there is no disputing that! Love it! 💯👍 from me!!!!!! Amazing sends!!! Incredible!
Trucks looking good, suspension looks almost perfect for those huge jumps! Front-flip at 9:50 was crazy!
The slotted O ring pistons are simply genius
😍🍻😎💪👊👊
@Razor RC you should do a video with the M2C shock piston installation and impressions on your Maxx!
Love the gearing and max 8, got 3.8 backflips on it. Shock piston next. Thanks for videos, love em all.

What programming was done in the Max8? Mine still feels sluggish with a max8 and 8000mah 100C 4s batteries
I just maxed out the punch setting. Don't recall what I set the brake at. Not sure how heavy your 8000mah packs are, but heavier packs can weigh the car down affecting acceleration and handling. I normally run 5200mah Ovonic 100C packs.

Hey Rich great video, thanks for posting. Can I ask how you mounted the max8? I just bought the MaxxV2 and the max8 mounting bracket holes do not line up. I appreciate any help
What springs are you running. I tried the shock upgrade and I dont notice a big difference. Does it help with bounce and chassis slap from big jumps?
@@richduperbash2966 ahh I get it now! I’ll try that out! Thanks bro! I’d love if you’d check out my Maxx vids! 😄

Wish I could answer that Steve, but my stock ESC kept shutting off every time I landed from a bigger jump.
Mate great video again but I would love to see a Rc truggy that you don't have to spend more than what the vehicle is worth to make it playable and reliable.
Definitely seems to be a handling difference to the Arrmas . Seems like your getting it dialed in. 👍👍👊💪
Thanks Brother 🤗. This sucker has been a challenge with the suspension. So far so good though. 😎💪👊👊
So much better once you remove that traxxas esc! This truck is a monster.
Yes sir, you earned a like and sub from this guy. 👍🏻👍🏻
Yo Duperdealy yo, man you've relit my like of Traxxas product. I've been kind of anti and not paying too much attn to their rigs. You've got this thing well tuned UP brother, almost like an expensive "Saleen" Max...!!! Love that shot of the Maxx flying right by you, almost taking out an eyeball!!! Pretty cool man. 👍💯🤜🤛🥂🥂ROCK ON.. \m/
Thanks so much Brother 😜. The Maxx and XMaxx are the only two I was willing to get. Both are Mad fun, but the Maxx is the better value no question. I got them to help test prototype M2C parts, but am enjoying getting them tuned and learning their inner workings 😍. Still love my ARRMA's no question. 🍻😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 YEAH 👍 brother, when it comes down to it, stuck in there like an Alabama tick, the Arrma vehicles are SO MUCH HEFTIER and robust compare to many other brands. The sky's the limit Duper, keep 'em guessing and rockin'!!!🤜🤛🎶🎵🎶💯💯✌️👁️👁️
Rich! What a great maxx! I have almost the same setup.
Max8
Standard 2400 motor
24/46 gearing
Slegtshammer tires
Yesterday the esc gets to hot 3 times and stops running to cool down. Any idea how this is happening? Is was running on sand. Is it possible the connector are not welded good? Hope you can help me out with this one.
Rich would love a vid on your cleaning process. That or maybe a quick convo if you’d be willing.
Planning to do a cleaning vid soon Ryan 🤗. I use Simple Green and water 50/50 mix, a shop blower and compressor, and Wd40 Silicone spray. Should get a vid up soon 🍻
@@richduperbash2966 Awesome, thank you. Curious about things like if you’re ok with simple green on the bearings and if WD40 silicone is all you put on the bearings or something heavier that won’t burn off with heat. And do you remove all electronics before cleaning and silicone spray. Much appreciated!!
Nice mini Maxx
Thanks Brother 🤗
Sweet bro. Would you say those 3.8 badlands are the same size as the 4s backflips. I would think the normal badlands would balloon some and that the mx version would be better. Just speaking from the 2.8 versions.
Stock motor? Is that an EZrun Max8 G2 Esc? Looking to upgrade mine, and wanna get the right parts!
Just have to sort the stock wheel hexes. I noticed some play in 2 of my Badlands and think the stock plastic hex got worn down a tad or just aren't fitting the rims right 👀. Probably going to swap on 17mm adapters. Enjoy your conversion Brother!!!!
🍻😎💪👊👊
👍Another sick bash bro 😎
Agreed 4s is plenty for that chassis
Thanks Brother 🤗. She feels plenty fast with this setup. I think 6s will only take from the handling and lead to tire failures...etc. There's really only so much usable power you can get to the ground. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Great video! Hi from Australia
Thanks my friend and Happy New Year!!!
🍻😎💪👊👊
Happy new year bro. Looks like she's really become a beast. It seems pretty comparable to the arrma 3s . Do you like the battery tray set up with how it locks in? You definitely have no shortage of spots that look like a blast haha. What's the farthest you drive for a spot? Thank you for an amazing year of spectacular and awesome bash videos man. It's always exciting and inspiring to catch your latest and super informative and helpful. I can't wait to see what this year has to offer in rc's and I know m2c will keep coming out with great new products and to see you test them out. Happy new year man and thank you for such awesome content 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
Thanks so much Nick 😜. The Maxx is similar to the ARRMA 3s rigs in that it's extremely durable 👀. Definitely bigger and heavier, more like a 1/8 really. I do like the tray setup. They're about to drop another bomb of an upgrade for the XMaxx that could be game changing 👀. Should be seeing some really cool new rigs this year too. Truly appreciate the kind words Brother 🤗. Happy New Year!!!! 🍻😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 can't wait to see what's in store and what 2022 brings us happy new year man 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
As always another killer video from you my man. This might sound silly but I would definitely be interested in seeing a short video on how you clean your rigs. They always look so clean and clearly we know you drive the wheels off of them. Just trying to figure out how to make my arrma rigs not look like I bought them from the junkyard lol.
Thanks so much Erik 🤗. I literally just washed my XMaxx, Kraton 8s EXB, and K6s 😂. I'll do a video on it sometime. I spray everything with Simple Green and hit all the bearings with WD-40 Silicone spray after thoroughly rinsing and air blasting my rigs dry. 😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 right on I have an outcast 8s exb and a 6s kraton exb and I’m just trying to figure out the best way to keep things in good condition so that stuff lasts longer/runs correctly. Also wanted to say thanks for turning me on to M2C. I found out about them through your channel and now both my 8s and 6s rigs are fully beefed out with M2C chassis plates and all the fixins for each rig.
Good job bro 🥰
Thanks Brother 🤗
You’re ripping that thang
Awesome vid Rich! 🤘🏻🇺🇸🤘🏻
Thanks Mark 🤗. Happy New Years Brother. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Great tune 👌👍
Looks like she’s landing a lot nicer! My credit card is ready for whenever m2c releases those shock pistons 👀
For sure Brother 🤗. I've been leaning into Mitch and Avery about it. They're getting Maxx specific piston kits sorted. Shouldn't be long. 😎💪👊👊
I'd highly recommend a Cappack!!! I managed to pop a cap on a maxx 8 on 4s😭, bought a new one and used a Castle 50v cap does way better and definitely feels like it's pushing more now!
Awesome video as usual and question what do you use for diff fluid all the way around and shock fluid on your Mojave I finally just got one EXB
Thanks so much Nick 🤗. Haven't touched these diffs yet. I don't have a Mojave, but would probably run 50/500/20K front to rear. That's what I use in my Orange Darling XL with Mojave chassis. 🍻😎💪👊👊
nice test 👍🏿
Nice I wish I could afford one of those lol looks fun
Nice run, can that max 8 take 6s battery? N whn u install the max 8. Is that all u have to change out? Esc n motor?
Great video and a big difference with the max 8 esc and changing of the gearing. When you installed the esc where you able to reinstall the antenna in the stock position?
Thanks so much Brother 🤗. I actually ditched the stock radio and reciever for an old Tactic TTx300 from an older ARRMA 6s. 😎💪👊👊
Amazing video and driving 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪👍👍
Thanks so much my friend 🍻😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 I was actually on the fence and undecided about buying the new maxx. But after seeing you possibly pilot it I was sold. I really can't express how good you're channel is.!!! Do you have an online group as I would love to ask a few questions and get some advice when my maxx arrives.! Hope you don't mind me reaching out.?
楽しい動画ありがとうございます。バッテリーは何を使ってますか?
Hey man love your videos does the m2c racing style pistons affect cornering at all? Does it make cornering better or worse? Looks like they definitely help with the big jumps appreciate the videos man keep the Traxxas Maxx videos coming
Thanks so much Evan 🤗. The O-ring style M2C pistons help overall handling and cornering big-time 😍. They're far smoother than standard pistons and provide forgiving and predictable, plush handling. 😎💪👊👊
Nice run rich 🤙🤙
Thanks Aldo 🤗. Happy New Years Brother!!! 🍻😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 Thanks Rich happy New Year’s to you and your family
That wassss fun and indeed fast
Thanks my friend 🤗. I can't see any need for 6s with steel driveshafts...etc. Very happy with this setup. 🍻😎💪👊👊
With the ESC swap and gearing you have are you getting any cogging? I'm thinking about swapping the ESC in my V2 also but not sure if I should swap the motor for a sensored motor as well.
Absolutely zero cogging Branden. This setup rips and barely breaks 100F. I'm stoked about it. 😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 That's awesome man! I tried 25/46 gearing with the stock VXL system and sledgehammer tires and it cogged pretty bad. It sounds like this is the way I am going to go! Thanks for the video and have a blast with the V2!
Which letter hole did you put the pin in for the mesh with the 25/46 gearing set up ?? Love your vids bro you remind me of RCDUDE81
Thanks Brother 👊. Think I pulled the pins and set the mesh manually.
could u make a video on how u make/tune ur shocks for the maxx plz?
Most definitely 👊. I'm going to wait until M2C makes a Maxx piston kit first. Shouldn't be too long 😉
@@richduperbash2966 awsome thank you! I would love to get my maxx suspension dialed in
ESC and motor?? this thing seems to run cool and hard!!!
Do you have a part number for the shock pistons and o rings?
Which one do you prefer so far, this one or the XMaxx? I'm a Tekno fanboy so I ultimately want to build a M2C'd MT410 but I've been tempted for a while to get a RTR monster truck. I'd also like to build a full M2C Arrma something or another as well, lol.
Well.... I'm digging both trucks, but I break my XMaxx literally every time out 😂. On my 4th major chassis component after 6 runs 👀. I'd recommend the Maxx personally. Literally broke my XMaxx in half again yesterday. 🍻😎💪👊👊
