New sub here, just found you from the Xmaxx vid (first experience) and it ended with this one as a suggestion. Absolutely love both rigs! Once I read, just have fun, I knew I was in the right place. Thanks, looking forward to browsing through the content in the past!
The Maxx V2 is one of THE BEST BASHERS out there. Sell the creapy esc, get yourself a Max8 G2 2250Kv with GPM 50t main gear and a 23 pinion gear and run 6s with Arrma Backflip lP! I run GPM golden springs front and rear, silicon plugs center Diff, Stock 50k front and rear diff and the Traxxas 8940X pin set... thats almost it. Servo is stock rn. but aluminium steering arms with a better servo are also worth the money but not necessary AND most important. I changed the front and rear bulkhead 4x10mm bulkhead screw with M4x20 front and M4x25 rear with counter locknuts and the Bulkhead is indestuctable now! ... try it out and thank me later!
You know what you're talking about! This sounds incredible, I'm definitely gonna try that build once the stock enjoyment wears out haha. Thanks brother!
I was a guy calling 4s "perfect" for this car for about two years... and brother I was an Idiot 😂 Because of 6s even my damage on the car got less because of the better Air control. On 4s you need speed to Do good flips in the air... on 6s... just pull the damn trigger 😂😊😊
So you’re saying it’s one of the best bashers if you take it entirely apart and replace almost every single last stock part on it? That’s an awesome build, but I think if you want a good RC without spending $800-$1000 on a 6s rig the stock Maxx v2 is perfect.
I didn't see this video. I really want one of these, but Traxxas rigs dont age well at all even when taken good care of. I owned an Xmaxx and i think this is better. Less torque twist and i haven't read anyone complain about stripped gears.
Once you said “I love this hobby” I subscribed. Good stuff and you’re not a pretentious jerk. Good stuff.
Lol thanks bud!

Appreciate it! And that's what it's all about!
missed you content man! glad your back!
Front aluminum C hubs will fix the pop out issue. Awesome video!
Haven't really had it happen alot since. But luckily it's a quick fix! I'll look into that if it comes back. Thanks for the advice!
Welcome Back Mike!!! Awesome to see you having a ball with a 1/10 scale basher👍👍😎😎👍👍
Oh yeah!!
Awesome video glad to see a new one on your channel 👍👍
Great to see u back i want a max bad but there's the max slash to tough decisions lol
Right! It looks awesome! I'm a sucker for any and all desert racer/trophy trucks.

Do you have a youtube link with running this setup? I was sold on a kraton 6s EXB v2 but constantly hear everyone breaking things

Sledge shock bodies to reduce the rear droop.
Haha, I think the dog was slightly concerned about the unboxing technique !
Lol I almost added a bubble for his thoughts during that 😅
The Maxx v2 was my first rc . And I put grew it once I started getting other cars .
Nice! I don't really outgrow any of em haha
@@SketchRC- understood . It was my least favorite car , especially after I started getting 1/8 and 1/5 .
Good to see you Sketch! 🍺
🍻
I have a V1 i run it on 3s i break less stuff and still plenty of power Maxx is the best.
Welcome back!

Probably the better size in general for the monster trucks from Traxxas.
This or the new Outkast V2.5 with center diff?
Haven't ran than one yet. I was between that and this and decided to add some more traxxas to the shop.
@@SketchRC- you should buy a 4s kraton or outcast
Outcast, more stunt truck fun.

Traxxas is getting expensive, i remember when they were the value brand
