I have followed every video you have for about 2 years. I completed Albatross and about ready to start the masts on Endurance. I'm trying to decide which @Occre kit will be next!
Wonderful to see the PRINZ Eugen coming along so nicely. This is the second ship building journey you are taking me on... and it is genuinely a pleasure 😊. I also needed a more precise drilling method and am limited on space. And I wanted to do more than just drill. I decided on the following PROXXON setup... MB200 Drill press with 90° adjustable head, KT70 micro compound milling table, and their precision milling vise. Of course, you will also need their IBS/E rotary tool in your compatible voltage. It is the most versatile, precision tool in my shipyard!! I make wood and metal parts that look laser cut. An investment, yes... about $350 US... but worth every penny. It's worth a look. Be well, Alex, and I hope you have the happiest of holidays.
@AlexModeling I don't know if you have it available in Portugal, but Dremel makes a stand for their rotary tool that makes it into a drill press, takes up very little space and works great. Just an idea
Im building my own slightly larger than 1/200 scale Prince Eugen. But out of scrap completely, paper and card stock. Its so time consuming because i have built ALL the compartments, rooms, turbines, engines boilers ect. All the way down to the armor scheme and plating on the hull.
Looking great sir! I bought this kit when it was first released. Haven't worked up to taking on the task yet however your videos are motivation to open it up and start it. Keep up the great work!
I am into woodworking and I remember starting out having that overwhelming feeling of always needing more and better tools. But a lot of skills can be learned through improvisation and getting the most out of what you do have available. Enjoy the process and don't worry so much about the destination. This is a journey for you and you are putting out beautiful work made lovingly with your hands.
Hi Alex, you can get vertical drill press for a dremal. They also do a router attachment so the one drill would do everything you need. Amazing build as always.
I enjoy your videos. Yh only ones I've watched are the Prince Eugen ones. I will watch some of your other ones. Your English i well spoken to me anyway! What is your native language? I cannot detect an accent.
Feliz Natal!
Hi Alex, U can get one of those portable table drill stands. My brother in law has one and he can put his cordless drill and normal drill in it and it works great. They dont take much storage space. U can get one for around 20-30 euros. I really enjoy watching Your builds. Can't wait for another one. Cheers :)
Amazing work Alex, the ship model looks beautiful and yours skills looks great too. I´m learning a lot from yours videos, thanks for sharing. PS: I see you listening to my advice and start to using anti cutter gloves, lol.
As always, and amazing video! I was wondering if you wanted to tackle HMS Victory and now we know. @Occre. Please send Alex the kit! I would love be able to follow his build and feel more confident about purchasing one for myself.
Hello guys how are you? This is my 3rd vídeo about the build of the Occre "PRINZ Eugen," and i hope you enjoy it! Wishing you all a Merry Christmas!

Faz parte
