There are only one layer of planks in the instructions. I will do so, just filling the spaces between the bulkheads.

Olha, I know it's late to ask this question and you may not see it, but here goes anyway. Why did you chain drill and then use the Proxxon grinding wheel to smooth the rough edges instead of using a coping/fret-type saw followed by a sanding block? Just personal preference or some real reason that I haven't figured out? I'm binge watching this fascinating playlist! ;)
Also, was this a build of a prototype kit since you mentioned problems the laser had with the thicker woods, causing some joints to be too loose?
I have a filter on all the comments I didn't reply to so I don't miss any!
In general, there is no reason to do it this way - I just thought it was the fastest way ...
This kit was made on equipment that broke down and accidentally 20 such kits got into stores - they were quickly found and removed from the shelves, and the two that managed to sell - were replaced with new ones. One of them got to me! So I have another new box with this kit))))
a 10minutes 43 tu places une grosse planche pour adosser ta membrure : c'est bien pour qu'elle soit parfaitement verticale ?
Dans ce cas de conception, il est très important de coller uniquement le premier cadre parfaitement verticalement et à 90 degrés - le reste s'alignera tout seul...

Интересное решение производителя с бревнами в наборе корпуса, не встречал еще такую технологию. Да еще и из краснухи, она в Европе под ногами что ли валяется, дорогое ведь дерево. Ольга, из какого дерева киль потом будете делать?
Идея шикарная! Нужно идеально поставить только первьІй шпангоут - остальньІе вьІравниваются cами по етим кругльІм направляющим. Так я собрала корпус за час и он клеился сразу весь. Больше времени ушло на подготовку (нарезку плашек для жесткости)...
Ето орех - в наборе все детали из ореха кроме переборок-шпангоутов и да серце кровью обливалось когда я резала кругльІе заготовки из красивого темного ореха для такой черновой работи)))
Потом этот кругляк можно на рейки распустить.
@@l-tschmidt9535 я уже вклеила))) ети кругляки держат всю конструкцию так как там нету килевой рамки вообще в принципи. Только киль и кильсон(одним куском) как в оригинальном корабле. От него никакой жесткости, только ети кругляки и держат. Плюс я добавила еще дополнительно бруски...
Также порадовался за внедрение такого простого , выравнивающего "скелет" , решения с круглыми прутками. Молодцы производители!
Но , Ольга , конечно-же , больше Молодец! :-)

Instead of disc sander for removing major waste, have you thought of using a scroll saw? It would be a lot faster.
Yes of course! It was on this model that I seriously thought about it. But I got it later and already on the next model I used it for this type of work...

Do you redo the parts, cutting or reducing the size?
Is the manufacturer still selling this error parts as of now? or any improvement?
It wasn't a mistake. I simply replaced the bakbone from the regular walnut in the kit with black walnut. But for this I had to cut off those parts that were part of the skeleton...
To make the model more contrasting, expressive and voluminous, I also replaced the wales, planksheer, all knees and some elements on the deck with black walnut as well.

Yes, they took the whole batch from the sale and replaced, at their expense, the kits to those buyers who bought this non-retail kit!
Therefore, I also have another original skeleton))) the original is assembled in 15 minutes without additional alignment!

Great build and impressive recovery on the errors in the original. I can never understand why a kit manufacturer uses exotic and hardwoods on areas of the model that are not exposed, it just seems wasteful and counterproductive.

Just because it us cheaper and faster to make averything from one type if wood. Then ajust tools every time when you need to change a wood...
