I just discovered your channel today and have watched about 6 of them so far. THIS is my priority exercise to begin with, with the others also helpful. Thank you so much, Will. You have excellent instructional tutorials here. I can easily follow. Thank you very much!

I watched the "not recommended" exercise on line, tried it for a while and started to get pain in my lower back. Your exercise fixed both psoas and lower back pain. Thanks so much!

Thank you! This exercise does seem better than simply moving your hips forward to try to get a stretch, which usually ends up using the lower back as well.

Hopefully you will show us more exercise videos for strengthening the glutes muscles. I've started to notice easier use of stairs but still need to walk further without back fatigue. Thank you.

Lordy! My psoas muscles are so tight that just getting into proper kneeling position is challenging, but once I get into position I get a strong stretch without tightening the gluteus. I should be able to start tightening the gluteus in a week or so. What a great exercise!

Great stretch! Can a tight psoas cause heel pain also? The bottoms of my heels hurt so much…along with lower back pain, especially when standing. Thanks for the video!

I have two knee replacements, so kneeling is difficult. I also have spinal stenosis with some of the symptoms of a tight psos. Can I do this stetch standing?

There is a very similar variation of this stretch that can be done in standing. I am planning to make a video on this soon!

@@HT-Physio -- I hope you can, because my left knee has a bony lump that turns kneeling into a form of medieval torture!
