Good video. When you get around to discussion premium compact ESV bibles, I'll bet you mention what I think is the best of the best, which is the Cambridge Pitt Minion ESV in Brown goatskin. Everyone bible lover should own one.
ESV Personal Reference Bible has been my daily reader for a while now. I picked one up in Olive with the olive with the Celtic cross design a few years ago for under $10. Now I want a second one and can’t find them anywhere! The references in the gutter is phenomenal design. I love it! Also the Crossway Lexicon font is the supreme winner for readability for me.
I guess only the compact value editions dont come in smyth-sewn binding. Coz I have seen descriptions saying the regular Value thinline do have smyth sewn. That's a key info to distinguish, thanks
Plz confirm, there are some compact and value editions on crossway and amazon site describing them smyth-sewn, and on certain value and compact editions they simply mention "sewn", does that basically mean plain sewn and similar to glued binding? or it is a semi glued semi sewn work? It is definitely a major factor, however, it's true that some value editions do come with smyth sewn.
Hi Aaron, thank you for this video. I used to have a ESV compact bible that has an introduction excerpt at the beginning of each book that explains when this book was possible written along with the author. However it seems like those are impossible to find now. All the ESV compact bibles I have seen online does not include an introduction. Do you know where I may be able to find one like that?
Such a helpful video! Thank you!

The only ESV setting with book introductions that I know of is the "new classic reference". Its not a compact, but its a great mid-size Bible.
@ thank you 🙏
