Bro, I have so much I could say but I don't wanna post extremely long paragraphs lol. As a person whom grew up with an immigrant single mother... I'll say I'm pleased to have many short-term healthcare certifications (CNA, CMA, RPT, and RDA) and although they're expired (I haven't worked in those healthcare trades since my 20's--I'm currently 36) I can easily reactivate them and make good money. Those jobs offer unlimited overtime, and they're getting paid really well these days.
I have no debt, multiple things to fall-back on, I'm in a Nursing program (I'm self-paying) and I'm gonna move to Chicago and sell my car and never buy one again. I'm gonna start over in Uptown, Chicago. Those are my plans! Resilience requires us to make sure we have numerous fall-back options.
